Although it's nice having a sturdy, stainless steel percolater, it takes forever for it to start percolating. I'm going to try coiling some copper wire under the lip at the bottom to see if that'll work. Also, the "guts" fit pretty loose inside the pot. When you pour coffee, everything shifts and if fluid is still in the filter, it pours out of the lid. That said, once the coffee is ready and the filter is empty of fluid, it pours good. The only cons are its slow heating time and its lack of a fluid diverter when it comes out of the spreader plate and out the lid.
