For 6 months okay, then it starts to leak where the removable filler pitcher seats onto the coffee maker. It cannot be stopped unless you try to seal around the connection with some silicone. They also used odd 3 slot type phillips screws that you can't take the thing apart. An absolute don't buy from me!

i love this coffee maker. i use my sprayer nozzle to fill the reservoir instead of removing. (it's a little to put in place) it is just so easy to set up for the following morning and my coffee is always perfect. you do need to be careful to have the grounds holder click shut or there will be leaking during brewing but once you get the feel for it all it is really nice to use.

I loved this coffee maker until it started leaking. Worked great until it didn't after only a few months of use. Currently engaged with hamilton beach for service on the 5 year warranty and will update.

I have only had this machine since April and now the leaking has begun. I bought it because I liked the idea of a removable reservoir for easy cleaning but Iam so disappointed that it now pours water out from under the base. I checked to make sure the reservoir was on correctly and it is. I wish I would have reviewed the reviews because I would never have bought it.

I purchased this item. Tried to brew 12 cups of coffee and all the water did was to leak out of the bottom of the coffeemaker. So like a dummy I bought a second one, that is doing the same thing. All I can do is brew 4cups at a time.

There are so many things to like about this coffee maker - easy to fill reservoir, swing-out coffee basket, easy to clean, easy to program, takes minimal space on the counter - but when the reservoir leaks during brewing and floods the counter, that makes for one Grouchy Grandma. Ran water and vinegar through the system several times to see if that was the problem. Worked at first but then continued to leak after several more uses. It lasted a couple years before the leaking began but the thought of having to replace something with that much plastic every couple of years does not feel good. Looking for a new machine now.

As with others, worked great initially. Then began leaking. Reservoir would look to be seated, but it would leak back out around the poor seal and down the little hole pictured in the base. Leaking fluctuates from none, to <1cup, up to nearly 6 cups depending on how long the Reservoir was left in place with the bad seal. It has been random for me and I haven't quite figured out the exact issue. I've made many pots of coffee with this and cleaned it while still having this issue. Will put the entire machine on a tray for the time being, avoid pre-programming and will be researching a better option. Good luck.

Loved the pot the first 2 weeks, had everything i wanted. program timer for morning coffee, adjustable heat plate and coffee strength which i like the bold! Then i get up and water all over counter and floor! No idea where it is leaking from. The entire water reservoir is empty and so is carafe ! no coffee just a huge mess. I will be returning.

This is garbage. Don't waste your money. After about two weeks of use (smooth brewed a day...so not like heavy use/multiple nonstop coffee being made...just ONE pot every morning) we started noticing water on the counter. Thought it was a fluke. Then more and more water. It is obviously leaking, and now a great deal. About what would be a quarter of the pot of coffee (enough water to saturate an entire dish towel) ends up on the counter through the bottom of the maker and never gets brewed. Of course the packaging is long gone...but I may still carry this into walmart as-is to try and return it. What a waste.

Love that this coffee maker is small yet brews 12 cups. I have low cabinets and I've always had to drag it out from under the cabinet to make coffee., but not with this one it's perfect! There's a water tank that easily lifts off even while under cabinet and the swinging brew basket makes it super easy to fill. I dont necessarily like the stainless steel but I'll figure out a way to keep it streak free lol.

The first two weeks I loved it! I could fill at the sink, the top swung out, it brewed quickly. The programmable feature was wonderful until, about two weeks later, we would wake up to an itty bitty amount of very strong coffee, but water everywhere. It leaks from the bottom constantly now. I am taking it back today.

I have been using this for several years so it is passed the warranty. I really liked it at first. I loved the look and really loved that it does not have an annoying beep when done brewing. But then the door for the grounds started to swing open while brewing. Now the really annoying thing is that it is often overflowing the water from the basin and not going into the brew pot. We have to put a cookie sheet under it because it happens so often. I have cleaned it several time and checked the rubber stopper that is on the bottom of the water basin. So I am searching for a new coffee maker but it is hard to find one that does not have a beep at the end of brewing.

We have had the coffee maker less than a month. Woke up and found water all over the counter, down the cabinets, and on the floor. Repeated the coffee making process and it happened again. Not pleased. Do not want to go to the store during this pandemic and do not have packaging for return. UGH!

If the reviews warning of leaking aren't enough to keep you from buying this machine, do yourself a favor and purchase a warranty with it. I so badly wanted this for the ability of fully cleaning the water tank, that I looked over the reviews of leaking and hoped for the best. Within a week or two of owning it, I have woken up on multiple occasions to a counter top full of water and maybe a cups worth of actual brewed coffee in the carafe. Not sure if it was slowly leaking over night (because I program it to start before I get up), I decided to not add the water to the tank last night, and brewed as normal when I woke up. Throughout the brewing cycle, it was a constant leak from the base of the machine. I adjusted the stopper and the tank mid brew, and the leaking still persisted. I really wanted this to work, and I now see that Ninja makes one for about twice the cost, but I'm apprehensive to spend the money on one again. So I went back to the standard programmable Mr.Coffee drip maker. It's a shame that the high end single serve machines have a water tank that doesn't leak, yet these lower end drip makers aren't on the same page yet.

You can’t pour coffee until all liquid has drained into the pot without it running all over the place, directly contrary to the advertising. Also nearly impossible to clean. Do not buy!

This product started out well enough. That was short-lived. Tonight it leaked so badly that I had a puddle on the floor. I caught it just as 4 cups of water had drained out. Not even into the carafe. Clearly a malfunctioning valve on the base. Well I always wanted a better machine. This wasn’t it.

I have had it for less than a year and the water started pouring from the bottom to my counter. Now I have a pan under neath till I decide what to get next. It's difficult to get the water container to get into just a right place. The top of the water container don't line up. Don't buy it. This is a worst coffee maker I have had in 50 + years.

Got it to replace a leaking BD coffee maker. I wanted the removable water tank mainly. This one has that feature, also the basket swings out so you never have to gain access to the top. Our's is positioned in the right/rear corner of our counter and it never has to be moved. Brews well on all settings, we us Bold. If it was placed in the Left corner of a countertop it would need to be moved to gain access to the water tank. It's perfect for us though and not expensive. I bought a second for the immediate extra carafe and brew basket. I like an extra carafe and since the price of an extra carafe is not much less then the whole unit, I bought another. We're very happy w/ it.

My old automatic drip coffee pot has a basic design problem that's very common across a variety of coffee makers. The basket that holds the coffee can drain back into the water reservoir. This often happens when the carafe isn't seated properly or some grounds get stuck between the filter and the basket What would end up happening is that the grounds would find their way back into the reservoir and clog things up. The only way to fix it is to take the coffee pot apart and clean all of the grounds out of the internal hoses and heating elements. I've had to do this a few times and it's really a pain. The design on this model separates the water reservoir from the basket in such a way that this can't happen. Still if the basket clogs there will be a mess to clean up but it shouldn't damage the coffee pot. And on another note, it makes some really good coffee. The warmer, at it's highest setting keeps the coffee at 155 degrees which is just about right for my tastes. And the bold setting really works. Well done HB.

We put our kitchen appliances in a closet on a book case. So raising the lid and lowering it was a waste of space. This appliance fits onto a shelf, has a removable water section to fill and the section for the grounds swings open. So this is very convenient for us and ends up taking less space than the traditional coffee makers. Plus it brews good coffee and has the programming feature for the morning. Very happy with this model

Didn't purchase from Amazon, got it from WalMart. I paid about $35.00 and checking today it's still that price there. Been using this for several months, working good. Basic features like any other coffee maker. Extra include a water reservoir with a handle and removable top, making it convenient to refill without using the pot itself. There is a filter you can buy I didn't get one. It had several brew temperatures. Typical auto shutoff after 2 hours. No issues really except sometimes you go to push the button for auto-set brew time but you might have reset the clock or started the brew accidentally. Appears to be solid enough and durable.
