Works well. Once in a while one side of toast will be lighter than the other. Has everything that I wanted in a toaster.

When I got this toaster, the dial was set a little past medium - I changed it to the medium setting to make thin sliced cinnamon bread. The toast was burned. I have changed the setting to the lowest setting for regular sliced bread and it is fine - but still too long for thin sliced bread. Haven't tried the defrost or bagel setting. It does say in the instructions not to use the toaster for Pop Tarts.

This toaster is only the average toaster on the market. The side of the bread towards the outside of the toaster gets really, really dark and the side of the bread towards the center gets a tint of tan.

Our son and daughter-in-law requested a toaster for Christmas. I bought this toaster because we have one just like it that we have been very happy with. It works great, toasts at different settings, wide slots, all the things you want in a toaster. Plus it is not plastic and it looks good. Price was reasonable.

Great features, it toasts beautifully.. cord winds up on bottom so you can adjust length and not have excess cord on counter, heavy enough to stay in place, this does "work and feel" like an old classic, but with all the modern features. With my former toaster/plastic..light weight, if you moved the cord-you moved the toaster. This is such an improvement!

I love my new toaster. It browns evenly and browns according to my settings. I'm really glad I bought this toaster. Walmart had the best price of any others including the web. I did an extensive search and Walmart was priced lower than any of the others. Thank you Walmart for a speedy delivery. This was a birthday gift to myself. I am very pleased.

As with most things today this toaster is made in China. Wife wanted a basic toaster that was styled like the old fashoned chrome plated toasters of the past. This model has several push button settings and a bagel setting along with a variable heat setting which are nice but a little more than we really needed. Compared to my old toaster the heating elements are thinner which may shorten their lifespan and the housing seems to be made of a thinner gauge metal than my old toaster. Only time will tell how long this one will last. This toaster seems to work well but like all new appliances takes a little getting used to.

We bought this toaster as a replacement for the same toaster that we'd had for 15 or so years. Very pleased with the product. We have 5 people in the house that use this every day.

I was looking for a cheap toaster that doesn't look cheap and this one does the job. It has all the options I need (defrost,reheat, bagel and cancel and the lever to lift the bread when ready) in a stylish design.
I don't use it very often but it has done a good job so far. If you are used to plastic, remember that metal does get hot.

This toaster looks great but performs terrible. I lowered the setting until I turned off the toast option completely, and it sill burned the bread. I was very dissapointed in that toaster. I hoped that because it looked great, it would have at least good or OK performance. However, it did not. Needless to say, I have returned it immediately.
