This mixer flings batter EVERY where. Walls, cabinets, in my hair, and that is on the lowest speed. I wish I would have never wasted my money on it. I tried to make pudding this weekend, and I put the mix in a deep bowl, in the sink, and the pudding went all over the place. It was awful.

Seriously awful. It sprays batter everywhere. I was doubling a frosting recipe and it couldnt handle all of it without the frosting rising up the beaters to the mixer itself. The “low” setting is way too fast so when you try to add things in, like flour, it just throws it everywhere. I had to first mix in the powdered sugar by hand a little. Very frustrating because I also had to stop and scoop out half the frosting to put the rest of the ingredients in and then add it back together and finish it by mixing it by hand. I don’t know how they sell them at all, let alone for the price they do

DO NOT buy this mixer.. It is horrible .. I wish I would have read the reviews but I purchased it in the store.. It throws the batter or potatoes or anything your mixing all over the place.. My husband thought it was the rubber coated beaters that was the problem but I have had mixers in the past with rubber beaters that didn't throw the batter all over the place .. Even using a deep bowl you still have a mess .. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy this mixer.

I have purchased several mixers before and this is the worst one! I have tried using it several times and it gives off a burning smell. Today, while trying to make buttercream for a customer - it actually started smoking! I will be contacting the manufacturer and will demand a refund. Save your time and your money and buy something else!

I received this as a gift. DO NOT BUY. it is literally dangerous beside spraying dough everywhere. I could only get one red beater to plug in. So I tried the whirly beater and the whisk beater at the same time and the whisk beater immediately tangled around the whirly beater. If you get as a gift, return. Unfortunately I threw the box away because I thought Hamilton Beach was a reputable brand. So disappointing

Terrible mixer, avoid purchasing it at all costs. Lowest speed of mixer flings batters all over the place. I had to buy a very steep sided bowl to contain the mess it makes. It can't cream butter and sugar mixtures even if the butter is so warm that it's on verge of melting. Horrible product.

I would not recommend this at all. I bought it in January and have had it almost 4 weeks, used it 3 times and the gears stripped out while making buttercream icing!!!!!! The bad part is we were making a cake for my son to get a job with and right in the middle of buttercream, simple creaming buttercream it stripped out!!!! Thank god the new 6qrt KitchenAid came in yesterday for us to do real cake baking with!
