They could not deliver it to me on the day it was estimated because it was not safe to leave it in my home, because I live in a condo, but they left me a ticket to go get it. I have no problem looking for it. I have been using the oven since the day it arrived and it's excellent. It heats up very well. I have baked bread in it and it's done to perfection. I have baked meatloafs and they are done very well. I love the "convention" setting because is has a fan (you can hear it on the video) that makes the heat distribute evenly. I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

I love this convection oven. I admit, I don't actually use it for a ton of cooking, but what I do use it for, I love it! On the convection setting you can heat up things that you can't in a microwave, like leftover pizza, or salmon patties or left over rolls. When you use this for those items they come out perfect, like you just made them, not soggy, or tough (rolls). I'm very happy with it.

I really love this oven. I felt compelled to write a review because I was surprised the reviews posted weren’t that great. We use it in the garage during the summer when I can’t bear to heat up the kitchen. I can fit some pretty large pans into it. In the winter it’s nice when my kitchen oven is in use with other things. We also use it for reheating pans of food. I’ve had a Hamilton Beach oven like this for many years. When the first one died I went right out and bought a second. No regrets. I haven’t had much success rotisserie-ing because my chicken always flops around on the rod, but I think I’m the weak link in that situation. I’ve yet to figure out how to truss the chicken and mount it properly. But that’s not my primary use anyway. I love my oven, and if it broke, I’d go buy another.

I was deeply disappointed in this Toaster Oven. I owned the previous model for well over 10 years. It was a workhorse and used almost daily. I replaced it only because it was showing wear and tear on the exterior. It would heat up fast and the convection feature was great. I wanted to purchase the same one, but it was no longer in production, so after a great deal of research, I settled on the new model. However, I am deeply dissapointed. It does not heat up to the temperature listed and I have used a thermometer to check it. Also, the convection feature is extremely week and a futile setting. Where I used to be able to heat items within 10 minutes, at the same temperature it is now taking well over 30 minutes. The quality is subpar to the previous model and it was an expensive mistake to make. I might as well just use my regular oven then sit around and twiddle my thumbs waiting for this one to wake up and debate how long and at what temperature it wants to reach.

The racks are too short. How did this product leave the factory like that???? They don't fit properly into the grooves, and as soon as any weight is put on them they go crashing into the shelf below. I spent probably a cumulative 20 mins of cook time trying to deal with that, and clean up the spills (of course) when I first used it.
It doesn't get very hot, I kept increasing the temp until it was maxed out, and I still got a very long cook time in comparison to the toaster oven it replaced - a hamilton beach 6 slice. I was very happy with that one, but wanted something bigger. I'm very happy with the size of this one, and it has a longer timer, and more settings, which I really appreciate. But the shelves being too short is completely ridiculous. How the hell am I supposed to use this if the shelves keep falling down???!!!
**Update: Nov 19th. And then in died. Turned it on... nada... tried plugging it in a bunch of different sockets... still nada. I'm very bummed because sizewise it's awesome. 5 stars... but everything else... nope.

At first, I was a little annoyed that this oven requires you to preheat for 10 minutes. However, I was won over by how well it cooks food. It cooks very evenly and thoroughly.

This is the little oven that can! We love it for summer baking and couldn’t be more pleased with. We have not yet tried the rotisserie function but everything else works very well. Expect a slightly different baking time than your regular oven and watch for over browning around the edges until you figure out the timing.

My mom loves it. It’s huge. It’s used all the time for everything from simple toast to roast chicken, casseroles and baking cake. I love it. The only thing that I was sort of concerned about was how long it takes to heat up sometimes. Like 10 minutes for toast color. But aside from that, it’s great.

The name is super misleading. There is No Toast option so this is NOT a toaster oven. The shortest time increment is notched at 10 mins. I gave 4 stars to warmth, not for lack of warmth, but because it gets extremely hot and members of my family have burned themselves a few times on the door.

requested a replacement oven. the one i do have, the interior does not heat up to temperature as needed and does not go above 325 and took 45 minutes to reach that! suspect bottom elements not working properly. exterior of oven and knob to adjust temp get so hot when oven is in, use you can actually sustain a 1st degree burn! the rotisserie function works well, but you have to add a lot of additional time to complete the cooking. hoping this one is just defective and replacement will work better.

BE VERY AWARE -- the statement that this oven will hold two 9X13 casserole dishes is misleading. The interior is only 13.5 inches wide; most if not all 9X13 dishes have a wider actual dimension than 13.5 inches (for handles, etc.) and will not fit in this oven. We bought this with the intention of using our 9X13 dishes, and now we cannot do this.

The toaster oven temperature knob gets extremely hot at high heat and the fan is very loud. The handle is also inconvenient as it burns your knuckles when opening and closing the door.

Seems to take a bit longer to get up to heat. It may be my inexperience with this type of oven. Either way, great oven, using at a replacement for the actual oven. I suggest to experiment with cooking temps and times to find the sweet spot.

I thought this would be great for those quick kids meals but it’s not. The glass door gets very very hot on the out side. You almost have to burn your hand to open the door. The bottom has a pan for catching debris that falls, however the strange design of it allows food crumps to drop below the pan. This is right by the heating element and makes it hard to clean as you do not want to disturb the very fragile element.

I use this oven almost exclusively and is a replacement for one I had nearly 7 years. It has a large capacity and accommodates a 9x13 pan for cakes and casseroles. Almost never use my large oven which uses expensive propane and heats up my kitchen during summer. Saves me money.

Very happy with this Hamilton beach oven. My larger pans fit nicely and it is so quiet when using the convection setting. Haven't used the rotisserie part yet. My new favorite oven.

First the good parts. The oven is very nice looking and is very large. I liked being able to put very tall items such as a dutch oven into it. Also, I loved the ability of the thermostat to go all the way down to (and below) room temperature. So you can use this oven to proof bread dough. Thermostat appears to go down to 65 degrees F. Very cool feature. I also like the mechanical controls as opposed to electronic/LCD ovens. Easier to use and more reliable. Finally, I like the ability to turn the convection fan on and off, which this model allows you to do.
Unfortunately there are two items that were show stoppers. First, this unit gets HOT HOT HOT!!! There is so little insulation (i.e. none) that the outside metal surfaces, particularly at the top and front, get hot enough to cause bad burns if you are not careful. Second, the convection fan becomes VERY noisy after the oven get above about 300 F. So loud you really cannot enjoy being in the same room with it. I had to turn the convection off, which made buying a convection oven sort of a waste.

I have been buying this brand for 20 years. I use it daily and when I decide that I want a new one my son loves getting the "old" one.
I live in mid Florida now and I have a small covered area outside where I like to do my cooking, baking and rotisserie roasting. This keeps the heat out of the house and with the Hamilton Beach brand having such a large oven space I can fit a lot into it. The convection feature cooks so evenly and a bit faster so there's less fussing around with my meals while they cook. I have tried other brands, but this is the best as far as I (and my son) are concerned!

I expected more from the rotisserie function.. When I secured the chicken on the rod in the oven, the rod wouldn't turn very well and really chugged when trying to roll at a certain point (and yes, the chicken was below 5 pounds), I ended up removing it from the oven to put in a full-sized oven out of worry the chicken wouldn't cook properly. While the rotisserie mechanism left much to be desired, I must admit this oven is very good at cooking other things (i.e, frozen pizza and burritos). The Hamilton Beach Countertop Oven w/ Rotisserie is a great kitchen commodity. It's actually pretty big for an apartment and it'll be up to you whether you keep it out or store it in your kitchen closet. Unboxing was a little more challenging than normal HB packing, everything is packed super tight so the styrofoam being expanded by the oven is a hard friction pull or push. Not much to put together, this oven is more of a plug and play with simple instructions. Nice features as well as being able to fit 2x 12†pizzas which we did with this product test. Pizzas came out as delicious as any big restaurant brand you like and especially homemade. The bake feature is nice too for any type of baked steaks you may enjoy. I wish HB would push two things into the product to make it super awesome. First, a staple within any oven, a durable oven light so we can watch or view our food when baking or being heated (the broiler comes in handy) a lot in the kitchen. And second, I'd suggest when you buy your next countertop oven from HB, set the temp to max and keep on for 5 minutes to get rid of the new manufacturing plastic and metal smell (normal). This oven is actually great for a family, when cooking and sharing food is a requirement. I can also see this being used in some commercial kitchens while keeping your commercial kitchen pro tools cost effective. Grab one, Id recommend it. It is bigger than expected to be and very spacious.It has lots of different features and is a fabulous design .It is light weight and functions well. It's heats fast and cooks to perfection. I have made a leg of lamb and it was so juicy and tender and delicious. I also baked chocolate chip cookies that came out so delicious. I use it everyday and fits perfectly on my counter top. I like the timer abd that it shuts off by itself., and a drip tray to catch the juices and a crumb tray . It's easy to use and clean. I love the style and it's my new favorite product. I’ve had this oven before. The upper elements stopped working after about 4 years. I like it for it’s size and the rotisserie option. It is not that easy to clean, you have to keep up with it. Otherwise works great!

I purchased this countertop oven late October. After 1 month, I noticed it wasn’t working properly. It wasn’t heating the food evenly and would take forever to cook the food. I would even have to always turn the temperature up to at least 400 degrees for it to heat up enough to cook. 2 weeks ago, it completely stopped working!! For the price I paid, I expected something much better! I’ve purchased cheaper and smaller countertop ovens in the past and they’ve lasted me at least a couple of years.

This oven looks great. I loved everything about it until I used it and burnt myself more than once. The entire outside gets just as hot as the temperature you set ii on for cooking. I know most of them do but this one was too much. I put an oven thermometer on top to test it. My issue was when I would go to open it my knuckles hit the back glass and the metal on that burnt them painfully. It happened 3 times and that is when I decided it was not for me. So the only part of this oven that did not get overly hot is the actual handle used to pull down the door and the glass on the door. Anything silver would burn you. I determined that was just not safe. Sad but true....

You are likely to get burned by the outside of the oven. It gets too hot. Top of oven gets too hot also not safe to lay your hand on or set anything on top of. Needs to be recalled.

No matter how many times we adjust a chicken or roast on the Rotisserie stick, it is never balanced. It will turn and the get to a point where it just falls to a different side. It doesn’t rotate in a full and complete circle so it doesn’t cook evenly~one side doesn’t cook as well as the rest, therefore it has to cook longer and one side always is overcooked~Ugh....very disappointing!

I haven't used the oven much, but so far, it's great. I've even baked bread in it and it turned out well. The only concern is the glass door. Make sure you are careful when opening the oven as the door does not have any springs on it and if you don't carefully open the door, it could break. Over all, a great purchase.

The entire front (the body of the oven, not just the glass) of this oven gets HOT.. I can’t imagine anyone having this is their kitchen if they have little kids. We have it in a work setting and I had to write “caution- hot!!!” On it with a Sharpie so no one touched it and burned themselves.

Blemish on front top, willing to overlook. Button on Timer to “stay on” does not work on any setting, getting a bit annoyed. Top knob for temp setting gets so hot you cannot touch it, now I’m annoyed. Blower motor for convection sounds like a Mac truck, super annoyed! Does the job well, But - DANGER! Exterior surfaces get extremely HOT! Been burned several times just barely touching cabinet (I finally learned). The only outside part safe to touch when the oven is operating, and well afterward, is the handle. DO NOT leave anything heat-sensitive on top of the unit. Three stars mainly because of safety issue.

Bought this countertop oven to replace my old one. What I love about it is the size it’s decent to cook most of your meals in there and timer. What I do not like about this product is the temperature knob. It can get hot and makes it difficult to adjust the temp when you need to. Also I wish there was a crumb pull out tray for easy clean up but sadly it does not have one. There’s room for improvement definitely.

Nice little oven BUT the convection fan goes on and off. Sometimes it just shuts off for no reason BUT it's still good enough for what I need. FYI the top of the oven gets VERY HOT, if you place it under wood cabinets they will definitely be damaged. Solution? I put a wood cutting board on top of the oven and it shields the cabinets, just hope it doesn't catch on fire

I just got this oven yesterday. I knew it was coming so I got a chicken ready for the rotisserie. It cooked the chicken like any other rotisserie but when i opened the door to the oven by the handle my knuckles accidentally touched the outside of the glass and it burnt me very badly. Just be careful. Also the top control knob gets very hot when its cooking. I'm going to try some other things in the oven before i decide weather to keep it or not.

Nice size and the knobs are nice too. The digital control pads are nice until they stop working. The convection feature cooks food very evenly. When I opened it and set it up, there was a screw missing from the frame around the door inside channel. It had fallen out during shipping. I went to reinstall it and found out why it fell out. Was stripped. Oh, well. The rest of the quality control seems to be O.K. Would recommend. UPDATE: Got it 9/4/19. Worked awesome until today - Christmas Day 12/25/19. Convection fan started making weird noise. Sounds like a motor bushing is shot. Would now NOT recommend. $120 wasted.

I bought this and expected it to work as described. Well, I put an oven thermometer in the empty oven and set the temperature at 400. I left it on for WAY over an hour and the temperature never topped 350. Guess that's why it takes me an incredibly long time to cook anything...even when on the convection setting. If I could afford to, I'd toss the damn thing in the dumpster. VERY, VERY DISSATISFIED OVERALL. I expected better of a name brand like Hamilton Beach. This oven needs to be taken back to the drawing board and improved to bring it up to features as advertised. Save your money. This oven isn't worth a dime.

False description as “Used-Very Good”. Small cosmetic damage on top and sides? Top yes had two very small barely noticeable dents. Really satisfied with the oven, in our unit with only a kitchenette (no oven or stove, just a sink and fridge) it's reliable and cooks really well. There are only two issues with it -
- It really does not fit a 9x13 pan. We bought a 9x13 pan, and it didn't fit, it's about an inch and a half too bit. So a bit of false advertising there (9x10 to be really safe).
- It is way too hot on the outside when cooking. This is our first countertop oven is this normal? I actually burned my finger on it. Not a huge deal, but people should be aware of this.
Other than that, we're very satisfied.

The broiler does not get hot enough to properly broil steaks. I just ruined 2 beautiful rib eyes. So sad. The rest of the oven kind of works but heats unevenly and not as warm as set at - not what I expected from this brand. And when I went to wipe it out, a screw dropped out from somewhere. Not good... Very disappointed and sending it back.

For 100 I was happy with the purchase. The knobs feel a little cheap and I know I read a review of a guy with a broken one. I guess knowing that just be careful. Otherwise I saw a review that the temp ran a little lower than the knob says. I tested it and got the same thing, 450 really heats up to about 415 or so. To me that isn't that abnormal and not that far off. I'm used to keeping a dial inside my oven anyway so I can see real temp. Happy overall.

I have the same problem as many others - the temperature of the rotisserie function is too low. I used my dual laser-based thermometer; the inside ceiling area shows 308 Deg. F; the rotisserie rod reads only 260 F after the rotisserie was running for 2 hours and 30 minutes. The skin is still pale; yes, that chicken thigh meat is around 170 F, but I could do it in my sous-vide machine in less time, with same pale skin result. Rotisserie is for getting crunchy skin; otherwise it is worthless. And my unit is worthless. What is going on with Ronco? No new production anymore?

Cake pan/ grill rack, rotisserie thingies ,2 shelves, solid shelf.
Very easy to use
I was going to buy anther 60$ one that i always get, but decided to spend the extra $40... totally worth it. Convention oven setting is a nice touch

The top of the unit gets 3rd degree burn hot! DO NOT SET ANYTHING ON TOP, EVER! Definitely, read the directions before use. They mention fire way more than anyone should.

This oven is good but not great. The controls are well marked and easy to use. I like every thing about it but the convection function. It is noisy. Not just the whir of the fan, but rattling noises when it kicks in. With all the racket you would think it had a good fan, but not really. There is not a lot circulation going on.

I bought this toaster oven specifically because it said it fit a 9x13 pan. Well, only if that pan doesn't have 1-inch handles like mine does! Bummer. However, I do like that the convection fan is very quiet - much more so than my previous convection toaster oven. All in all, this is a good buy for 100 bucks. I can't rate the durability yet because I've only had it about a month. However, the material all seems good quality.

This arrived today and I immediately turned it on to broil some chicken. Wow, the outside—especially the top and back get extremely hot. Too hot to safely be used in my kitchen. I burnt myself reaching over it an then when I went to unplug it. I had an under the counter (another bran) for many years and never had this concern.

I've owned other Hamilton Beach products similar to this one but wanted a newer version. This version cooks at a higher rate of speed than most of my recipes call for, which is rather frustrating because it browns my meals more than I'd like on the outside, leaving the internal product a bit underdone at times. Just be ready to check you food sooner than expected.

The toaster is perfect. Good buy for the money. The rotisserie makes it the best, though. Roast pork or beef - perfect. The roast chicken - great. Less money that store bought. Cleanup is quick and easy. Love it!

This is a very basic device with old fashioned controls . Very spacious and relatively easy to clean . The only problem with it is that it has no interior lighting , which makes it hard to use . My cheap Black and Decker that I had was very well illuminated. I’m having a serious case of buyers remorse over that light . That’s the only problem I have noticed so far . I have to use a flashlight to hook up the rotisserie forks . I would think that for the money it would have had LED lighting and a digital timer but my fiancé picked this out and now she is sharing in my misery as well.

Right now, I am still learning and getting used to it. I feel that the broil takes too long to warm up and do its work. It seems it should got hotter sooner. I believe I will really enjoy it as I become more familiar with this bigger oven. I had a small one that probably got too hot. I am glad I upgraded
