We bought this appliance to replace our old microwave and are very happy with the features and in particular like the reheat feature to heat up leftover plates. Very satisfied with our purchase.

Bought this new Hotpoint to replace the same unit that came with the house 18 years ago! Was hoping the mounting holes for the bracket and unit would line up but they have changed over time and I had to drill new holes. But it is a little quieter and a lot lighter than the old one. Glad I went with the same unit though.

I love my new microwave and all of the features it offers. I am very happy with Hotpoint as it always proves to be a very reliable product. This is my second Hotpoint Microwave. The one I just replaced, I had for over ten years. This is a great product.

the old one died RIP so got the one from the same brand that has a exhaustion. this is pricey but it's what was in my kitchen before

This unit came with the house we bought. Manufactured in Jan 2016 and we moved in May 2016, so basically brand new. It's November 2019 now and it's tripping the breaker every time it starts. So less than 4 years before it has a major issue which isn't acceptable in my mind. Aside from that, easy to use and set up so I didn't go with a 1 but still very much a subpar unit.

Could ALL of you makers of above-the-range microwaves get together and agree on a STANDARD back support bracket that only has to be installed ONCE. The one on this microwave works well. With a STANDARD support bracket, you could eventually charge for the bracket separately and save a heap of time for those of us who have one on the wall already. Also, could you all agree on the SAME hole positions for the upper cabinet for the screws down to the microwave. I liked the Hotpoint selection as 2 went into my corner support blocks underneath the cabinet. This is my 4th microwave! I have so many holes in the bottom of my cabinet that it is ridiculous.
