I have had this juicer for a month and have made two juices each day. I’m very pleased with it. If you are comparing between a masticating and a centrifugal juicer, there is no comparison. I’ve had two centrifugal juicers( Jack LaLane and Cuisinart). I use HALF the produce and get almost double the juice from this juicer. I believe it will pay for itself just in that savings alone. You do have to cut your fruits and veggies up into smaller pieces and they need to be put in slowly. This is not a time saving juicer but your pulp will come out dry because it has squeezed every drop of juice from it.

I don’t think there is a juicer out there that is easy to clean, but I guess, as much as I use it, I have a system and it has become easy.

I don’t believe you will be disappointed if you buy this juicer.

Easy to assemble and clean! Decent amount of juice~Gets the job done and love the design and color. Just be careful...sometime the juice splashes a bit so close the spout halfway when juicing.

I am pleased with my juicer, however it does require a lot of preparation of fruit to be juiced, such as removing skins and chopping into smaller pieces. It took me a while to get the reassembling down but now it is going well. It is not the best at juicing hard fruits or large quantities. Otherwise i do recommend this juicer.

I got the green version... I was hoping it was a little more blue than green... it's not, but that is my ONLY complaint. It is quiet, easy to assemble and use and not too hard to clean. It's really just that you have to do it right away, but it only takes about 5 minutes to clean well and disassemble. I have made juice almost daily with it since buying it. I've had to change around my diet due to some health issues, so I always start the day with some juiced leafy greens, pineapple, ginger and turmeric. It juices so well and if I prepare my fruit/veggies the night before, it only takes me about 3 minutes to juice. I have also made apple/carrot juice for my kids, apple/celery/cucumber/lemon juice, watermelon and lime juice, etc.... I've juiced beets... it truly will do it all and do it well. The pulp is very dry, though it's wetter if you juice a very wet fruit like apples or watermelon. I shuddered at the price, but it was a very good purchase and I foresee myself juicing happily for years to come. I highly recommend this juicer.

This is my first juicer. I did quite a bit of research and I chose this one for ease of use, ease of cleaning, and, of course, it’s beauty premium! It is a beautiful juicer! I’ve used it everyday since it arrived. It is very easy and pleasurable to use. Cleaning takes less than one minute and it not burdensome at all. The pulp is not super dry- so there probably are juicers that get a slightly better juice yield. But, with any machine there are trade offs and I would choose this one again, hands down.

Can't give it 5 stars only because the juicer cap hinge broke within a month. I was trying to clean it, it snapped off because it broke from the cheap plastic its made of. I emailed for a replacement and she said they don't have it in the mint color but could send a white one if I call this number. I haven't called yet because I don't really want a white one. We can still plug the hole with the broken one for now.

I absolutely love this quiet little juicer. It's GORGEOUS! I bought a regular fast one five years ago, and after using it twice, producing sopping wet pulp and little juice, it's been collecting dust on the back porch ever since.

BUT THIS LITTLE BEAUTY resides right on the counter next to the microwave, under the cupboards! I don't have to get it out, like a special project. The pressing device hangs on the lip, to the side, instead of in the hole, which makes it too tall for that spot. The designers probably made it that way so you would have it handy when you need to press something into the tube...but it also makes it fit under the cupboard. The juice'pulp catchers fit inside each other, with the little cleaning brushes, and live above it, in the cupboard. I LOVE using it! I don't mind having to cut the pieces smaller. I cut everything up, and put it all in a huge bowl I already had for making chopped salads. When I'm ready, I turn it on and can still hear the tv in the bedroom, the doorbell, the phone ringing...and it does not disturb my sleeping husband. I can use it without going nuts, nor disturbing the neighbors! The only noise I'm making is hollering in wonder about how QUIET and FABULOUS and FUN it is! It was awfully pricey, but because I actually use it, and love looking at it, it's worth every penny. It makes perfect juice, and very dry pulp. It's much easier to clean, as well. I did have to get used to putting it together, but was a professional by the third time I used it. Warning; this little guy weighs a ton! Don't lift it by the basket...always carry it from the bottom. It is my favorite thing, and I'm still using it regularly even months later! I'm so glad I bought it, since I wasn't eating enough greens & veggies. Now I'm getting lots of vitamins, as I'm happily drinking them. Highly recommend the cutest, quietest juicer ever! Take good care of it, and you'll have it for many many years...actually USING it.

Perfect if you are looking for a quality juicer that is simple to clean and have limited counter space. I live in an LA apartment and use this 5 days a week mostly for celery and carrot juice and it works great! Easy to clean compared to most juicers and it comes with the necessary cleaning tools. Be sure to cut everything into small chunks to avoid clogging but if it does stop there is a reverse switch that fixes the problem quickly and efficiently. Clean immerdiately after use to make your life easier! I air dry on a mat on my counter. I love this and have recommended it to friends who are tired of pay $7+ a day for juices in LA. I only juice for myself and sometimes my husband so if you want to juice for more than that, I recommend getting the larger Hurom so you can feed in whole veg as opposed to chopping because that takes a little more effort. But seriously still worth it and was 2 more minutes of chopping? If you can afford to get this one, do it!

I already have an older Green Star juicer but it was so hard to clean, I hardly ever used it and it took up a lot of space.

I also have a Vitamix which does Green juices remarkably well but I needed something to juice carrots, ginger and apples. I do not like carrot and apple fiber in my smoothies, so I wanted to juice them and then blend them into my smoothies.

I bought the pink Hurom juicer and I really love it!…it is so beautiful! It is very quiet and it works great. The carrot pulp is dry which means I was getting the maximum juice from the carrots. Comparing this to my Green Star, I could tell no difference.

The Hurom is very simple to disassemble once you understand how it works and I watched a couple of YouTube videos to guide me, because the images in the manual were not that clear for me.

The only difficulty I had was with disassembly of the strainer. You simply push up from the bottom to loosen it from the spinning brush basket, because pulling it out of the basket didn’t work. I had to slap my forehead, once I figured that out. Most of the parts are simple to attach but I think I tried to make it more difficult. The top portion simply sits on the base and I was trying to twist it on, just like my food processor, which was wrong.

The juicer is very easy to clean and more so if you run water through it prior to the actual cleaning. Basically you just rinse everything off except for the strainer and there was very little left there to scrub off.

The cord is longer than some of my other appliances and I appreciate that. I wanted a smaller juicer because I have too many gadgets already and although it's heavy, it's comparable to my blender's size. It is definitely a quality juicer. I have included a picture of it next to my low-profile Vitamix for size comparison. I bought the Pink one from Hurom's web site since Amazon didn't carry that color plus they offer free shipping if you check the right box, and new customers received a nice discount.

Hurom has a distribution center in California, and when I contacted customer support they were fast to respond, which helped in my decision to purchase this juicer.

Update to my original review: The juicer does not do greens well unless you follow it with hard produce such as carrots. I got so little green juice out but when I juiced the carrots, I had a lot more green juice. But if you want to juice a lot of greens, then you need a Green Star juicer. I prefer a juicer that is easier to clean and this is it.

Did You Know Hurom was the company that invented the vertical single auger juicer? Many other companies have made low quality "knock off machines" that are made in China. Based on my testing, they do not perform as well, yield as much, and have a short duty cycle and may fail prematurely.. Many of the "low cost" vertical juicers you see on Amazon.com are made in China. I would encourage you to buy a juicer made in Korea, which is where this Hurom Juicer is made. The HOME of the original vertical slow juicer.

First I will disclose that most would consider me a "juicing expert". I have filmed and uploaded hundreds of videos available on Youtube comparing various brand juicers to one another. If your looking for a juicer and have done your research, you have probably seen at least one of my videos..

I will say that every juicer has its own set of PROS and CONS. The Hurom Personal Series HP juicer is a winner in my book, but has a few drawbacks.. This is the VERY STYLE of juicer I choose to use in my personal kitchen, and I own over a dozen different juicers! I will do my best to explain the pros and cons next of this model:

PROS:

1. This is the lowest cost WELL PERFORMING vertical single auger juicer.

2. 2nd generation vertical slow juicer- While the pictures you see on amazon make all these style juicers look similar, I can tell you the parts inside the machine are vastly different. The Hurom HP is a 2nd generation vertical juicer which means it does not have a SMALL hole in the bottom of the juicing screen that can get clogged with pulp and cause a pulp backup. When this occurs a few things happen: 1. You get excessive pulp in your juice. 2. Your yield will go down. 3. Your juice may stop working 4. Your juicer will be difficult to disassemble because pulp is clogged inside the juicing bowl.

3. Due to the newer 2nd generation design, this juicer is WAY less prone to clogging that 98% of all other vertical juicers sold on Amazon.com (the other 2% include the Omega VSJ843 and Slowstar - which are also 2nd generation machines.

4. Due to the construction of the auger and screen you will get way less pulp in the juice compared to other vertical auger juicers.

5. Based on my testing, you will get higher yield than other vertical auger juicers. This is important because organic produce can get expensive, and more yield means you are saving money.

6. Lowest Price for the best in class vertical auger juicer

7. Juices most vegetables, leafy greens and fruits.

8. Is one of the best juicers for getting a high yield from leafy green vegetables.

9. Easier to clean than other vertical slow juicers- takes me 3 minutes. Since there is no GEAR that drives the wiping blade, and parts are precise and to the point, with no excessive plastic to clean.

CONS:

1. Short two year warranty on parts other than the motor. Competitor brand 2nd generation style machine has 15 yr warranty on the entire machine

2. Won't juice cactus fruits (one of my favorite fruits!)

3. Hurom is an established brand around the World, but recently established in the USA.

Overall, I would recommend the Hurom HP juicer if you are on a tight budget and want to get the LEAST expensive juicer that will perform the best juicing a variety of produce and the warranty is not important to you. If you have more money to spend, that I would suggest one of the other 2nd generation juicers that cost about $100 more, but offer further benefits.
