The K-Duo™ Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker: the perfect brewer for any occasion. This versatile brewer is the best of both worlds, using both K-Cup® pods and ground coffee to brew a cup and a carafe of your favorite varieties.

The K-Duo™ coffee maker has a 60 oz. single water reservoir that is shared between single serve and carafe brewing, which means fewer water refills to save you time. The included 12-cup glass carafe and heating plate are perfect for keeping your coffee hot, and the added convenience of the Pause & Pour feature makes serving a snap! No need to wait for the entire carafe to brew – the Keurig® K-Duo™ coffee maker can be paused mid-brew for 20 seconds, so you can pour fresh, hot coffee right away. Or set your preferred brew time up to 24 hours in advance and enjoy a freshly brewed carafe right when you want it with Programmable Carafe Auto Brew.

What does the Keurig K-duo come with?

What's in the box: 12-cup glass carafe included with your brewer along with a heating plate to keep coffee hot. Multiple brew sizes: Brew a 6, 8, 10, or 12-cup carafe and a 6, 8, 10, or 12 ounce cup.

Can you program a Keurig K-duo essentials?

You can schedule the carafe to brew with Auto-Brew up to 24 hours in advance. Reach the MAX fill line in the water reservoir. Ensure that the carafe is placed on the heating element. Insert a 12 cup paper filter into the filter basket by lifting the filter basket cover. Select AUTO from the menu. Set the time for the auto brew to start using the H/M buttons, and then confirm the time by pressing the blinking brew button.

is Keurig k-duo essentials worth it?

Overall, if you're looking for a coffee maker that's simple to use, contains the essentials for a cup of joe, and can brew for one or for a crowd, the Keurig K-Duo Essentials is a decent machine. This machine contains everything you need to quickly and easily prepare a cup of coffee in the American style. You don't need to spend time reading the handbook to figure out how to operate any bells or whistles because this machine isn't particularly fancy. Additionally, this machine is more affordable than others in the Keurig series and even some single-serve machines. If you want to use a 2-in-1 machine to expedite your coffee-making process and are ready to trade some features for a lower price, the Keurig K-Duo Essentials might be a decent option.

How do I clean my Keurig K duo Essentials coffee maker?

To keep up with the ongoing demand for coffee, every coffee maker need frequent cleaning. Simply remove the replaceable components for daily cleaning, then wash each one individually in soap and water. Additionally, descaling your machine at least once a quarter is advised. You might even think about monthly. It appears that having a dirty machine can lead to a lot of problems. You can use a Keurig descale solution bottle or pouch and according to the manufacturer's instructions to descale your K-Duo Essentials. The single cup side must first be descaled, followed by the coffee pot side, as you probably already surmised.

If you want to decale your coffee maker every other day this is the maker for you. And don't bother calling customer support, you can read from the manual yourself and still not get anywhere (answers are word for word out of the manual) if the manual helped I would not need to call

I have had Keurigs for a number of years and all have worked fine, however we bought this K Duo essentials under a year ago, and it worked fine until apparently the pod side ceased to function properly. It seems the water feed tube came off off the connection at the pod area and spread water around the pod holder and water poured into the cup. After discussions with kueurig people in the Philippines and Columbia, I have received a replacement. I appreciate the Keurig folks with timely action.

My wife went to visit our granddaughter for the weekend and came home with glowing reviews of the Keurig K Duo that our granddaughter had bought. When we ordered it, we also ordered the cleaning pods so we could take good care of it. It was late getting here but because of the Covid-19 thing, we were patient and it finally arrived. It was wonderful to have the single cup function because my wife won't drink leftover coffee so we saved money. we maintained it according to the instructions and used the cleaning pods as instructed. We take good care of our things since we don't have a great deal of money to replace anything. After 5 months use, the single cup function failed. I checked it out and saw nothing to explain it. After making a couple of pots of coffee like magic it began to work again. ??? It continued to work for 2 more weeks but then stopped working again. Since the return window closed long ago, we are left with no recourse but to just use the the pot function. We are sorely disappointed with the product and would never buy a Keurig again. You would think for as much as they cost that they would last a while.

Unfortunately, I did not get the Keurig that is pictured. I received something similar, but over the Pod area, it had a rounded top, which made it taller than the measurements given for the flat model shown (I believe it was ASIN B081DYS74B). I needed the specific measurements for the flatter topped machine due to new counters. Also, what I received didn't even work, which was also disappointing, but not surprising now that I have read the reviews for that model. Thankfully, they were really nice about the mistake, and approved a return for the unit with no hassle. Extra star for that.

I've never had a coffee maker so challenging to learn how to use. Even after several weeks of use I still have to stop and think every night when I set it for automatic brewing. I can't for the life of me pour a cup of coffee without it making a mess. I try pouring faster, slower, in between nothing works. After 3 or 4 uses the pot turned brownish and I've tried Clorox and Bar Keepers Friend and still can't get it clean. The K cup part works well once you figure out how to use it. The coffee temperature is pretty good but could be a little warmer for me but is right for my wife. Easy to maintain and clean. Coffee in both sides tastes great.

This is the best drip coffee machine I have owned. The operational learning curve is 2 minutes or less. Once you push the start button, the machine panel lights up for you to press for single cup or pot, then if you press pot it moves to # of cups; you can choose "strong"; hit the lighted center button and the brewing begins. The pot gives a buzz signals you the brew is done. You do not need to read a book to get this baby going. The pot keeps hot until you turn it off. Wonderful, logical and intuitive system.

Coffee Maker works wonderfully. Setup is extremely easy and I was able to use a "third party" k pod without issue(so nice after having a Kuerig 2.0). Also for any one curious, there is plenty of room for wider coffee cups next to the carafe for those of us that like a 16oz+ cup of coffee (think soup bowl with a handle xD). ON A SEPARATE NOTE: Please be careful when ordering this Coffee Maker. There are 2 different versions of this coffee maker with 2 VERY DIFFERENT price tags. I, among several others it seems from reviews, have been shipped the cheaper version (K-Duo Essentials) when trying to order this coffee maker(K-Duo), prompting us to return the product. The Essentials version has a curved top, missing some features and is ONLY SOLD THRU WALMART per the Kuerig website and sells for $79. I actually received my original order in a Walmart box showing that the seller had simply taken my $140 and ordered me the cheaper version from the Walmart site and tried to pocket the difference. After I returned the Essentials maker and received my refund I made sure to order this Coffee maker from the Kuerig amazon store and had zero issue.

This is not worth the money. Cleaning is horrible. The Kcup holder itself will remove so you can clean it but the rest of the area doesn’t come out so you can wash it. I’m not even sure how that area gets so dirty because my old one didn’t look like that! The calibration on the Kcup is way off. I always use the 8oz selection but sometimes it give me 6oz sometimes it give me 10oz and over flows making a mess. It’s also a lot noisier than the one I had previously and I don’t really like that either. As far as taste it taste fine. The big pot maker works fine with no issues but I only use that when I have company. So for the Kcup maker to not work right sucks because that’s what I use mostly.

Even knowing how the basket is supposed to be inserted it can take a lot of time and frustration before success. I noticed you have already replaced this version with a user-friendly top-loading version. It would be a very good PR move for you to send all of us who got caught my version the newer version. Just a thought from an old retired marketing man.

1st off the carafe design is horrible almost always spills, now after about a year of using the kcup side trickles and stops like its clogged although all needles are clean and free if obstruction thats been happening for a month, and yes i clean and descale regularly, today the carafe side after 20 mins no coffee coming out even after removing filter basket and running a cycle with just water. You hear the pump working but water reservoir hasn't dropped although i did eventually get around a half of a teaspoon amount to finally dispense. This is probably the worst keurig I've owned

I loved this machine: carafe plus individual pods. Yet after 3 month the unit stopped working. No power. I went on line and followed all the instructions and still the machine would not turn on. I call Keurig customer service, very friendly and gave all the details: serial number (with photo) and copy of receipt from Amazon. I was assured that this was covered by the one year warranty. A follow up email told me that my documentation was all wrong and they would not replace the machine. I resent better photos but have not yet received a reply. (one week,) I would expect a trusted brand like Keurig would stand behind their product. This was my third Keurig. Now I need to buy a new coffee machine and as much as I did like this one, the price and the reliability of the machine and the service is not worth it. Yours might last forever. Mine lasted 3 months. Goodbye Keurig.

I was super excited to purchase this! Best of both worlds, right? Well the glass container is horrible to pour. Impossible to pour without making a huge mess. Ive tried pouring it slowly doesn't matter still gets all over counter and mug! Very poor design. Now im having an issue with setting the auto brew. It was working fine for the last 4 months but now it takes anywhere from 3-6 times just trying to set it(not program) but set it the night before. Also when the icon lights up to show its set, my husband mentioned its not brewing automatically in the morning anymore. So annoying! This machine costs to much money to break already!

Received a different Keurig from Preston ventures than what was pictured and described. Super disappointing as I could buy the one I received cheaper at Walmart if I wanted that one. The picture is what I received, which you can see that it’s not the one I paid for.

Overall this is a good product but what I was looking for was to program the coffee pot in the evening so I'd have a pot of coffee in the morning and an on demand cup on occasion. Yes, my fault for not totally understanding the description when this purchase was made. I plan on purchasing another coffee pot/keurig type coffee maker in the future and keep this as a spare. In addition, the water is in the back of the coffee maker. This makes it difficult to reach when filling. You'd better have a lot of space to fill it. Fortunately for me, this coffee maker is in an open area right next to my sink and I can fill it easily with the type of faucet I have. If you have to place under a cabinet, I would not recommend this as filling it daily would be a pain. A plus for the water reservoir is that you fill only the one area to use for either single keurig cup or the pot of coffee.

The picture shows a different model then what you what you receive. You get the cheaper model. The one you can get at Walmart for $79.00. The top does not have any LCD or gauges like the picture shows. Very disappointed. I received this product when I was going thru something in my life and would have sent it back immediately but I had priorities and coffee was one of them so I just kept it BUT buyer beware.....Don't make the mistake I made.

First off I want to say that the model pictured by amazon is not the model I received. I was given a different model that is being sold on Walmarts website, and my package came in a walmart box oddly enough. I don't really care enough about having a clock though as that is the only major feature that sets these models apart aside from astatic button placement. Picture related as to the model I was given. As for the coffee maker itself. I like the craft portion of this and will probably be using that 99% of the time. The pod side only fills my tumbler up half way which I felt was odd since it fits. Why fit a cup size that you're only going to fill half way. Either way rather than doing the pod side twice it's easier just to make a craft on the 8 cup setting and have a few extra cups left over. The heat level is fine for drinking right away, not so much if you want it to still be hot in a thermos an hour later.

I really liked the idea of having both a regular coffee pot and being able to use a pod at 4 am when I have to get up for work. I spend more time trying to get the power button to turn on than it takes to make the coffee.

Really liked the shape and footprint of this machine but... Received defective unit the first time (electronics were faulty) and a broken one the second time (shattered water reservoir) so not impressed with the sturdiness. I love my current Keurig 2.0 and it is a solid machine. I want to have a pot and single all in one machine so I guess we will look at a different brand.

I was so excited to get this today and upon opening up the box it was nicely packed in, it was obviously not the right Keurig Duo. The one I received is not the programmable one as there is no clock on the top right side. The word Keurig is on the left side not on the right side as shown in the pictures so back it’s going.

I ordered this from the shipper "Hot Sales Club". The machine that I received is not the same one that is displayed in the post. It is still the duel drip coffee and pod coffee, but the machine I have does not have all of the features that are listed in the post. The posted one has a digital screen on the pod side, and the one I received is a little more primative with just buttons and no screen. Also, the one advertised has brew sizes from 6 to 12 ounces and 6 to 12 cups however the one I received only has cup and ounce sizes ranging from 8 to 12. The machine itself is okay, but I feel a bit duped that I did not receive what was advertised in the post. Also, it was very strange that the box had Walmart labels on it, and when it shipped it said it came from Walmart. Overall, strange experience. **Update as of 9/14/2020. I reached out to the seller and they did offer me a partial refund for the concerns and misrepresentation of the post. Seller was prompt to respond and offered free shipping to return or a partial refund. The machine they sent met my needs so I did opt for the partial refund... but just be aware that there is a lesser model of this machine and you may not know at the time of order which one you will actually receive.

Extremely disappointed. We wait a long time to be able to purchase this coffee maker. The square lip on the pot creates a mess every time you pour a cup. This also leads to coffee on the burner which creates additional mess. The coating on the warmer is now coming off as a result. You're not able to turn on the warmer should the power go off and there is still a pot of coffee. It was way too expensive to have these types of everyday problems.

Bought this for Christmas 2019 and it’s September 1 2020 and it’s already not working properly. Everyday it’s something different!!!! Won’t brew the proper amount of cups, you set it for 10 cups and it brews 4. The warming brewer won’t stay on for 2 hours. It also from time to time decides to brew one “drip” at a time. It takes forever for the carafe to fill up. I’m so disappointed with this pot! I absolutely loved it , but waking up every morning and having to re brew a pot because it won’t work properly is so aggravating.

A quality product, but lacking options for the cup quantity of brews. On the carafe side the minimum number of cups That can be brewed is 6, resulting in waste if you drink less. On the K-Cup side the there is no way to adjust for a smaller cup, or less water usage than a regular mug, resulting in no ability to brew a stronger coffee, as with other Keurig products. Also pouring from the carafe is nearly impossible to do without dripping due to the design of the spout!

I have gotten a couple different multi-use brewers over the years and they always failed after 1-2 years. So I thought I would spend more and get the Keurig Duo. I did really love it except yes, the carafe always leaked when pouring. However!! It completely quit working after only 7 months. I mean come on!! Why is it so hard to make a decent coffee machine? But to Keurig's credit, they are replacing my machine with the new updated Keurig Duo for free (as well they should because it was within 1 year). So I believe they have really good customer service. Remains to be seen how well the new coffeemaker will be. Fingers crossed as I wait for days for the replacement with no coffee and headaches for the lack thereof. Might be time to go cold turkey on the caffeine.

Bought June 12. It is now Aug. 8 and it stopped working right. We have de scaled and did everything ‘support’ said to do. The hot plate is supposed to stay hot for 2 hours?? Not mine! My hot plate has never stayed hot for longer than it takes to brew a full pot. I’m so disappointed and sad. In theory, this is a great idea for a coffee pot; in application it does NOT perform as advertised. Most keurigs we’ve purchased last around 18-24 months. This one didn’t even last 2 months.

My wife and I had been looking for a multi-purpose machine, one which makes both a carafe and a pod of coffee. I had seen this and after some investigation, we bought it. Observations: This is a basic machine which does not have a lot of features. I've read a number of reviews complaining the carafe spout design allows a few drops of beverage to spot the countertop. All one has to do is slow down when pouring. The wide spout is conducive to pouring quickly. Me, myself, I pour my coffee over the sink so any drips or drops go in it. Alternatively, a dish towel could be placed on the counter and poured over it. Keurig uses a 5 ounce cup measure for the carafe side. The carafe is 12 cups. 12x5=60, which is the exact reservoir size. READ the directions! This machine is easy to use and does exactly what it says it will do. To expect it to do X when it isn't designed to do, it is unreasonable to expect that performance. If you need a different set of features, find the brewer which has them. Don't buy it and then gripe it doesn't do something it was never designed or equipped to do. Pros: The machine does exactly what it says it will do, day in and day out. It has a 2 hour auto shut-off for the carafe side and a 2-3 minute shut off on the pod size. Easy and intuitive to use. It is simple to maintain. I descale it as needed with the Keurig solution. I descale about every 3 months. Depending on your water, you may have to descale more often, or less depending on your use. You can brew a carafe and use the pod side while the warming plate of the carafe is on. Haven't tried to brew both sides at once. It can be programmed to auto-brew at any given time, however, you must set the auto-brew function each brew cycle. This prevents the machine from automatically brewing a pre-programmed setting when the reservoir is nearly empty or empty. This is simply a safety measure. Cons: The directions which came with my machine says none of the parts are dishwasher safe. I would think for the money, a simple change of plastics composition would be in order without raising the price. The carafe glass stains easily, though it is easy to clean. The glass feels flimsy but I haven't dropped it. It doesn't come with the gold mesh filter, though it can be ordered or purchased at the grocery store. UPDATE: I've regularly descaled the machine with vinegar. Today however, I could not get the descale cycle completed, that is, without some frustration. I'd run out of vinegar and had (fortunately) 2 bottles of the Keurig descaler solution. I used the first bottle and was shocked at the amount of scale it removed. After completing the Duo instructions for descaling, I encountered 2 problems. First, the descale warning light would not go away. The second and most frustrating, is that in the carafe rinse, I would not get the full amount of required water to dispense. Instead of 12 cups, it gave me 8. I thought it was my mistake and I refilled the reservoir and tried it again, making sure I selected the 12 cup carafe amount. This time I got 2 and in the last attempt I got perhaps a few ounces. The pump made a whining, thudding noise. Spending a few minutes on Google told me the issue with no water was either the pump was out or debris in the line. I ran the second bottle of Keurig descale solution and let it sit for about 30 minutes. I then repeated the rinse instructions and this time I got the full amount of dispensed water. The descale lights did not turn off as expected. I learned there is a manual reset sequence which solves it. With the power "ON" press and hold the 8 cup and 10 cup selection buttons for about 5 seconds. Mine turned off immediately.

Two people use this machine. We used it properly and have a whole house water filter that filters out everything from sediment to chlorine. We use the Keurig kcups, not an off-brand or even an adaptor. First it told me to descale. So I did. And yet it continued to tell me to descale. So I descaled it according to directions several more times. I tried using distilled water. I tried cleaning all the parts, “burping” the machine, and running several cycles of plain water through. The “descale” light remained on. Then it began putting out about 20 oz of water every time we brewed a cup, no matter what cup size we selected. A couple of days later, it began leaking hot water from around the pod holder when we’d turn it on. Yes, I will contact Keurig about this and hopefully they will take care of it since it’s not even a year old. But if you’re considering buying this disaster of a coffee maker, beware.

Had this coffee maker since October 2019. Back in January the descale light came one. We tried numerous times descaling the machine. The light will not go off, but it will still work. This week, the cup size does not work. It will only brew the largest cup. Really disappointed in Keurig.

I purchased this coffee maker as a Christmas gift dec 2019. I had a good working single serving keurig but my husband wanted one with a pot. The single use works during the week with everyone’s different work schedules, he wanted a pot for the weekend to enjoy multiple cups. So I purchased this one. Everything worked great at first my husband was loving his coffee maker. Then the hot plate for the carafe stopped working back in April Now in July the single use option is going haywire. First it wasn’t filling the cups properly we cleaned in and now no matter what size cup we choose it will over fill the cup by a lot. Coffee taste watered down. Very disappointed, this coffee maker barely lasted six months and I spend a lot of money on it. So I’m not happy I would not recommend. Don’t waist your money find something better.

Do not buy this product. The first time we used it, brand new out of the box, the carafe side wouldn’t produce any of the amounts of coffee selected and kept stopping mid-cycle. We tried every cycle. It is defective and doesn’t suck up enough water to make the amounts needed. Only the single serve side works. Keutig offered to replace it, but it would take several weeks to receive a new one, and who knows if it would work either. My adult daughter told me afterward that they have had to have their Keurig replaced 3 times for this very same reason. Not a good model to buy.

I purchased this Keurig to replace an old one. I’d read some of the reviews that mentioned that the pot pours coffee all over the place when filling a cup and thought “surely these people just don’t know how to pour coffee”. However, I realized I should have heeded their warning after I spilled coffee all over my floor and counter after brewing my first pot. It must be some type of flaw with the design of the lip of the pot where the coffee pours from. Coffee does enter the mug, which puts me in a good mood in the morning, however, it also runs down the side of the pot and spills on to whatever surface I am pouring over, which immediately ruins my mood. I have to pour over my trash can or sink and must pour quickly because the slower the pour the more spills out. It’s pretty frustrating and seems like something that shouldn’t be an issue since people have been pouring coffee for centuries. The brewing does occur quickly and I have had no issues with the K-cup side, so the machine doesn’t completely suck, but if you want a nice pot of coffee in the morning and don’t want to fly in to a blind rage when you start spilling everywhere and watch much needed caffeine that you require to get through the day without slapping your co-workers fall on to the floor, then I would pass and find a different product.

Update: Customer service indicated replacement carafes would be available within a month, and in the meantime will send a new machine with thermal carafe. Much appreciated. Again, great coffee maker, please make better quality glass carafes. Coffee tastes better in glass. Thanks to Keurig for making it right. Great coffee maker, but---very cheap, thin, glass carafe. Have had mine only a month or two, and I already need a new carafe. But of course, one is nowhere to be found, anywhere online. They're out of stock on the Keurig site (gee...maybe because they're thin and break easily, so everyone needs one???). Have looked elsewhere with NO luck. Also, the glass stains right away. I'm particular about keeping my coffee maker/pot clean and this one is not easy to clean. If they got the carafe situation fixed, I'd have given it five stars. Four stars doesn't really do it, I'm pretty irritated. So giving it three. Would appreciate some decent customer service on this.

We researched dual coffee makers like every other couple that found themselves at home during COVID. Before this one, we had a Hamilton Beach (yeah, the other dual maker) and it stopped working on the single serving side about a year after we purchased it. No extended warranty for us! After months of making fours cups or regular -then four cups of decaf -we FINALLY bought this one. This one is exactly as it is described. My only frustration is that I seem to be the one that always has to fill up the 12-cup water tank that is located in the back of the machine. It needs to be a five gallon Lowe’s bucket back there. If you keep your coffee maker on a kitchen counter, yet under another cupboard, you pull this appliance all the way out to remove the reservoir container. Until we can afford to buy an industrial machine that hooks directly into our water source, we will use this one. I am not a fan of K cups and their waste so I purchased a set of those mini K cups you can fill with your own brand of beans. Because it is made by Kuerig, they don’t include them - they want you to continue to buy their plastic waste buckets. There you have it! An honest review from a Boomer that just wants a cup pa joe each morning. Don’t ask about the clock setting because he keeps unplugging the coffeemaker now to plug in his laptop in the afternoon. We are the new generation of the 12:00 blinking VCR.

I'm in love with this coffee machine. I've been using it daily for two months now. It's replaced the separate machines I previously had and takes up less space on my countertop. It's not as heavy as I thought it would be, which makes moving it around during cleaning a lot easier. Having the ability to either brew a quick single cup for myself or make a pot for when company is over is incredibly useful. The water heats up quite quickly and I have a piping-hot k-cup of coffee in less than two minutes. My trick is to add my creamer first, eliminating the necessity to dirty a spoon. The machine itself is very sturdy and easy to take apart to clean. I have hard water, so I generally do a monthly cleaning cycle with vinegar to keep everything running smoothly. The water reservoir has a generous amount of space, eliminating the need to refill it all the time, which is something of an irritant with my smaller keurig machine. The machine is very intuitive and simple to use. Included are detailed instructions for use, as well as two boxes of k-cups and a bag of coffee. All of them were excellent. Very nice clean, not-burnt coffee taste in every cup so far. If you're looking for a versatile coffee maker, this is definitely one I would highly recommend.

As soon as I used this coffee maker it leaked. Very disappointed with it. I miss my old Keurig .I tried to get them help me with the problem I'm having with getting my Keurig to brew. Once I followed the customer service rep's suggestions it leaks even more. They will not replace this obviously defective machine. I'm totally disgusted by this companies change of importance from outstanding products and customer satisfaction and loyalty.

I purchase a single Keurig Duo eight months ago from Amazon. I have suffered with its multiple design quirks. But, today, it stopped working. I performed the normal needle cleaning and descaling to no avail. I have now spent a total of 90 minutes talking with two different "Customer Support" representatives who treated me like a four year old! Finally, the second one asked me "what kind of water" do I use with the Keurig. I told her I use my tap water. She pressed me as to whether it is at all filtered or softened. We have a private well and the water is both filtered and softened. She informed me that the Keurig Duo will not operate on filtered or softened water!!!!!! I told her I didn't think the problem was the water as the machine was not even drawing the water from the reservoir. She told me the warranty does not apply if I use softened or filtered water (who doesn't these days?!) and that I would have to use only bottled water to make coffee. Outrageous! I told her I would simply throw out this $169 machine and buy another brand. Miserable customer service and a miserable product!!!!

I was so excited to get this product. I loved my regular Keurig, but found that I when I had quite a bit of company over, the individual cups and smaller amount of water just wasn't working. I ended up buying a basic coffee pot to keep in the garage for those days and events. The Keurig K-Duo Essentials saved the day, and my sanity. I am able to keep one item on my counter to serve all purposes. It is high quality product, it feels and looks nice on the counter. It's made well. The tank is much larger. The larger tank is great for my everyday use. We have a lot of Keurig users in my house. It has an amazing feature of being able to pause the brew midway so that I can get a single cup of coffee before I have to wait for the rest. I also don't have to fill up anywhere near as often. It also comes in handy when I want to make a full pot of one type of coffee, but then use the kpod single cup side to serve hot chocolate, tea or a different flavor coffee to others without needing to make an additional full pot. Truly has saved my sanity with our busy household.

This is the third Keurig I have used. Like all of the others, the performance is excellent and always consistent. This one offers the flexibility to brew a pot in addition to single cups. It's the idea setup for people like me who entertain often. At a gathering I once made 9 separate cups of coffee for people. Took forever. Now I can just brew a pot if I need it and be done. The hot plate keeps the pot pretty hot for about 2 hours. As with all coffee makers, how strong the coffee comes out depends on the type of coffee and amount of ground coffee used. Like all other Keurigs I have had, I thought this was going to be my thing. M-I-N-E. I was wrong. My husband asked, hey will it make hot water for my tea? Ever since it's been downhill. The thugs of my house (husband and 3 children) have taken over my machine. The machine can make a the perfect cup of hot water faster than you can say “quarantine of 2020”. I say all of that to say that the machine isn't just for coffee drinkers. If you need to justify the purchase to your significant other, pitch the tea angle. You can thank me later.

I like the versatility of this, obviously, it is two machines in one. I don't think setting the timer is as easy as it is on other machines that I have had but at least it has one. I do like the removable tank, it makes it easier to fill. There is no option to make the drip coffee "strong", just the single k cups have that option. Overall I am happy with this purchase, it is used several times daily and handling the demand. The coffee tastes good and I didn't find that it needed much flushing through before the first use, like some other coffee makers I have purchased, especially the single-cup ones. After a couple of flush cycles, I noticed no plastic smell or taste. I also think I got an amazing deal on this, just before Christmas 2019. I could have paid almost double for it at BB&B.

Another Walmart Exclusive! Out of the box I was amazed. I figured, I can't write a review without putting this puppy to use. So, I took some photos of it new and put it to use. I gotta say, I like the duo even better than my last Keurig because when my parents come over, I can just put a pot on and serve everyone hot coffee all at once as opposed to one cup at a time. Then just like with a ordinary Keurig, when it's just me, I can pop in my reusable K-Cup and make myself anything I want. This machine is complete genius. It's considerably faster than my old one. I thought to myself atleast the first 2 weeks I used it, where have you been all my life. I'm now determined to find a reusable basket for when I make coffee in the carafe, because I plan on keeping this bad boy around!

I could say I absolutely love this coffee maker if it didn’t drip every single time we poured coffee from the pot. The whole thing works wonderful, looks nice, and we love the duo aspect of it! However, the large pot itself makes the coffee drip down the side of the pot as you pour and makes a mess all over the counter (even though it has the lip). We have been able to use it just holding a towel while we pour, just makes it a little less convenient.

We love the new Keurig K-Duo Essentials coffee maker. It is a great addition to our kitchen. As a household, we drink a lot of coffee in the morning and then a few of us will have a cup or two throughout the day. The Keurig K-Duo Essentials coffee maker is the perfect solution because it can brew an entire pot with a regular paper filter and ground coffee, or you can insert your favorite pod and brew a single cup. In either case, you can make a large, medium or small pot/cup. The Keurig K-Duo Essentials coffee maker is larger than a regular coffee maker, but definitely not larger than some of the fancy multi-function brewers we've owned in the past. Because the K-Duo holds a small reservoir of water, it cannot be stowed in a cabinet between uses. The reservoir does not have much of a handle so it's difficult to install when full. We prefer to use a pitcher for filling the machine and only remove the empty reservoir to clean it. I had been hesitant to purchase a Keurig because of the fact that the pods were not recyclable, but that has apparently been remedied because you CAN in fact recycle the pods now. It's a little difficult to peel off the top film to clean out the grinds for recycling, but worth the effort in my opinion. I was given this coffee maker in exchange for my honest review, and I stand by my words.

I absolutely LOVE the convenience of this machine. It comes in handy ALL the time to have the option to brew a pot or brew an individual cup with the pod side. Both sides DELIVER and are really simple to use. Clean up is a breeze, making this one of my Daily "GO TO" appliances. The pods are easy to put in and remove after using. I also really appreciate the varieties of pods on the market that fit this machine. That's a HUGE PLUS! The possibilities are endless. The house smells like a gourmet coffee shop every day now. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This is the best ever in Keurig coffee makers the square look design is just wonderful Never drank much coffee but ever since I bought this wonderful super looking coffee maker I buy coffee tea hot chocolate you name it, it is so fun to use. I never really cared for the older style Keurig's they looked like they were from outer space but this keurig DUO is so stylish I love the more squarish look more updated look for today's styles in home décor. What I also like is the idea of making 1 cup at a time or having a whole 12 oz pot full of coffee WOW ! Keurig you out did yourself this time love, love love my Keuring THX.

I'm very happy with this Keurig K-Duo Essentials Coffee Maker. Having the option to make a whole pot of coffee in the morning or one quick cup as needed is very convenient. The water reservoir is nice and large. It's easy to remove the tank for filling and to slide it back into place. I have noticed that if you follow the instructions and remove the lid first and then the tank, it's much easier to deal with. The Single Serve feature is really nice. Just pop in a pod, close the lid and choose you serving size - 8, 10 or 12 ounces. The carafe side also has a choice of 8, 10 or 12 cups. You switch between the two by choosing ounces or cups, then press the size button. It's all very straight-forward. Both methods deliver a delicious brew. This appliance is very versatile as well. Anyone who's ever used a Keurig K-Cup system will know that this machine makes more than just coffee - all sorts of teas, hot cider, cocoa and even soup can be made in just one machine. The Keurig K-Duo has enabled me to get rid of both my old coffee pot and my tea kettle, thus freeing up space on my counter top. The one thing that was a surprise to me, but not an issue, is that it's noisier than other coffee makers I've used. I assume it's the pump mechanism, and it's not loud enough to be a problem. Overall, I would recommend this coffee maker to anyone who wants the choice of single servings or carafes.

I bought this item in October, 2019. Was truly excited about what it could do - produce single cups of coffee or produce a carafe of coffee. Wow! The problems began when I first tried to set up the machine. Because the product is basically all black, the buttons for hour/Minute, strength, and auto are not highlighted in white so you can see what the buttons do. Then, the instructions are somewhat haphazard as they really don’t tell you specifically what happens after you push them. I realize that you turn on the machine first, select either POD or carafe next, press the blinking light or the button that’s above the blinking light next to confirm (Why not make the confirm button blink like the on/off, pod or carafe buttons, ounces or cups selection?), press ounces or cups BUT WHAT IS NEXT? It doesn’t tell you to push the confirm button again, upon which the light will Begin to blink slower and that’s all you have to do. I did that and nothing began happening! There was no sound to indicate the machine was working. I turned it off and then on again, following the steps, but became frustrated. I packed it up to send it back. But then I gave it another try. I finally figured it out! It worked for a few months and then the “descale” light appeared. WHAT A PAIN IN THE NECK! Too many steps- turning off, turning on, pull the plug, reset, replug, remove reservoir, dump water, refill this/that, disconnect for 5 minutes or 30 minutes, or 4 hours. Do this four (4) times for the pod side and (4) times for the carafe side ..WHAT???????????. The written steps lack clarity and precision. Since I don’t have the packaging anymore, sending it in for repair is out of the question. What a waste of my money! Previous machines that I’ve owned are Mr. Coffee and Cuisinart- de scaling is super easy and quick! Back to my 6 year old Cuisinart! Out with the new and back in with the old! Avoid the Keurig k-duo... UPDATE- Well, “shiver me timbers” I decided to RE-read the customers’ reviews and found a review from Donna S. that not only worked but gave this machine a second chance. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, DONNA! Your comment about holding down the 8 and 10 ounce/8 and 10 cup buttons for 10 seconds removed the “de-scale” indicator. BUT, first, the machine must be off, then turn it on but DO NOT select pods or carafe setting. Just locate the hard to see 8 and 10 buttons and hold them down simultaneously for 10 seconds- VIOLA` —- NO MORE DESCALE LIGHT. Do removing that light kept the machine from functioning properly! I will give the machine 3 stars as the instructions for set-up and de-scaling are difficult to understand and poorly written.

The Keurig K-Duo could not have arrived at a more opportune time since we're now following #StayAtHome directives. At first was concerned how it would fare in shipment vs. picking up at a store, but it was delivered in a large, sturdy box, expertly packed and padded, with absolutely no damage. A nice, generous surprise was that the shipment included came with one 18-count box of Original Donut Shop medium roast K-Cups, one box of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Dark Magic (dark roast), and one full-size bag of ground Green Mountain Colombia Select medium roast. Even though coffee is a get-out-the door staple in our household, I am new to the Keurig “World” and to be honest, was somewhat intimated by the good-looking machine. But no worries – complete, large-print (no eyeglasses needed) and easy to understand instructions were there. The machine itself also had removable labels pointing out all the key parts. The remarkable feature of this machine is the dual-brewer option – you can brew a single-serve tall or short cup, or a whole 12-cup carafe. First step was running a cleaning load of plain tap water through both the carafe side and then the single serve side. This was fast and easy thanks again to the instructions, and I felt less intimidated and decided to try out a Donut Shop K-Cup. Refilled the water reservoir with purified water, easily popped in the pod and chose the 10-oz option. Vroom, vroom – in less than 90 seconds had a steaming hot personal mug of coffee – delicious!! Under the cup dispenser, there is a removable plate if you'd like to fill a tall 12 oz travel container for grab and go. The next morning chose the carafe option – using the ground coffee and a disposable paper filter, the machine performed flawlessly – piping hot coffee quickly brewed and the warming plate is designed to keep it that way for two hours. I have nothing but good things to say about the Keurig Duo – it is a quality, well-crafted appliance and both sides of the “Duo” will receive plenty of use here!

I ordered this to replace my K200 that I had for a few years. When I first received it, it worked well and I was happy with it. After a week or two it started to slow down and was not brewing full cups or carafes. I ran the Keurig cleaner through it and that seemed to helped until a week or two later when the issue repeated. I called Keurig and went through the troubleshooting steps and when that did not help, was told I would receive a replacement however they were out of stock and had no idea when I would actually receive one. Initially, I was irritated that I did not have an immediate fix for my issue or an estimated time frame for when my new coffee maker would be delivered. However, the customer service rep that I spoke to was extremely friendly and helpful. I received my new Keurig relatively quickly and have had not one single issue with it. The only noticeable difference is that the needle that punctures the top of K Cups is different from my first one. While I was initially unhappy that I received a lemon, I understand that it happens. Although I did not know when I would even get my replacement, the ease of getting it replaced and the wonderful customer service I received makes up for that.

This coffee maker works perfectly for one person or several. Right out of the box it was very simple to set up. It comes with a coffee pot if you're needing several cups. Having a choice between how much coffee to make is going to save us lots of money on wasted pots of coffee. You can put your coffee mug under the pod side and you can remove the bottom tray on this side to accommodate your taller travel mugs. The drip coffee side has a warming plate to keep your coffee a nice temperature. Both sides have an 8, 10 or 12 selection. It has a larger water reservoir than the pod only versions for less filling. For the pods this is for oz. and for the drip coffee side it is for cups desired. Simply fill up the large water reservoir, add your coffee and select cups or pods then the size. It starts working quickly to make a delicious cup of coffee.

This Review Is For a Keurig K-Duo Essentials Coffee Maker, For the Single Serve K-Cup Pod Lover or those who want a cup of coffee from a Carafe. As always my reviews are fair and honest, and non bias, to give a potential customer an objective review, the good and or bad if any. I have had many a Keurig Coffee Makers, from the very first basic one to the more fancy with light up water display and clock, with a strong feature. The only minor issue is not having a clock or display which I like to look at. But the most important feature, is how great a cup of coffee a coffee maker makes. I have to be honest I was skeptical about this coffee maker making a good cup of coffee with the Carafe Feature, or the K-Pod. But to my amazement was pleasantly surprised, and honesty this coffee maker makes a better cup of coffee with the K-Pod, then my fancy Coffee Maker. I absolutely love the option of having both features, of a Carafe, for when you have company over, or the K-Pod feature, for those who can choose which K-Pod they want. This is absolutely great for a coffee lover like myself. I will use the carafe part for when we have company, but my go too for everyday is the K-Pod and I am stock up with Keurig K-Pods. I have own nothing but Keurig Coffee Makers, because the quality, they are durable, take a licking and keep on ticking at least mine have. They seem to last for quite a while, and this one is no exception, easier to operate, and fast at giving me my first cup of coffee. I like the fact that the height of this Keurig Coffee Maker is not as high as some of the other models. And that it is easier to fill the water reservoir because when you take off the lid it gives you more room for adding the water. As with some of the other models it has a flip up lid, in the front of the reservoir which gives you a smaller opening to pour the water, I really like the fact of having a much larger area for adding water. I am kind of liking the simplicity and operation of this Keurig Coffee Maker, it does not take as long to make a cup of coffee, and to be quite honest, makes a hotter cup of coffee, then some of the other more fancy models. The instructions are very easy to follow and I suggest you read the instructions before usage. This Coffee Maker can brew 12 oz., 10 oz., 8 oz., when using the k-pods. It can also brew 12 cups when using the Carafe brew feature, and that I love. Another great feature is when using the Carafe Brew Feature you can pull out the carafe and it pauses the brewing cycle for 20 sec to allow you to pour a cup of coffee without having to wait for it to fill up the carafe and finish the complete brewing cycle. Another great feature. This is the best of both worlds, for those of us who love coffee. One feature I really love is the Auto off feature, used for both your brewer and the heating plate, which turns your brewer off 1 min after the last single cup brew and turns the heating plate off after 2 hours after the last carafe brew. When using a k-pod you can also use a travel mug up to 7 in. tall. This Coffee Maker has the option of using the Keurig Water Filters, (SOLD SEPARATELY) You can also use the k-Cup universal Coffee Filter which allows you to put your favorite ground coffee into this k-cup filter and brew a single cup of coffee. The color is black which goes with any kitchen décor the size of this coffee maker is 12.74 in. H x 12.27 in. W x 13.44 in. D Bottom line is I absolutely for the price recommend this Keurig K-Duo Essentials Coffee Maker to anyone who is a coffee lover as I am. It makes a fast single cup of coffee that taste great!

I'm happy with the Keurig K-Duo, size, function, flavor and consistency. I do have several complaints. A) It took several pots and k-cups before the coffee tasted normal (before that it had a plastic'y taste). 2) The smallest k-cup size is 6oz and the first cup of the day pours 10oz, which overfills any medium sized coffee cup...only my largest coffee cups work. Additionally, when I select 10 cups for the coffee pot it makes 11. Sometimes when I turn it on and the machine starts heating up the water, it will just start dumping water out of the k cup side dispenser. Anytime I pour coffee out of the carafe it dumps a teaspoon of coffee on the countertop. I definitely wouldn't buy it again and will be looking to upgrade sometime soon.

The single WORST small appliance I've ever purchased. Ironically enough, it is also the most expensive coffee maker I've ever purchased. Program the machine to brew at 0600? Mehhhh... Maybe it will brew, maybe it won't. Need to change the time to brew a little later on the weekend? Yeeeeahhhh... maybe. Set your brew size to 12 cups? You might get 4 cups, sometimes 8 cups, more likely 6 cups... oh, and once in a while, you'll actually get 12 cups. It's a complete crap shoot. And the carafe??? The Titanic had less leaks. Be ready to wipe the counter every time you pour a cup of coffee... God forbid the "descale" indicator ever light up... I've cleaned it the machine multiple times (following the directions to a "T") with Keurig descaler, as well as other brands, and even tried vinegar.... and yet the "descale" light keeps burning bright. Overall, don't waste your money. If you're a drip coffee person, buy a Bunn or a French Press. If you're a K-Cup person, buy ANY brand of maker except Keurig. Overall, it was a monumentally bad decision to buy this Coffee Maker.. UPDATE 5/1/20... Is there a ZERO star button? Over the past 3 mornings, the scheduled morning brew cycle (set to 12 cups) brewed 6 cups on Wednesday, 3 cups on Thursday, and 9 cups this morning. Again, just extremely disappointed. FINAL REVIEW 7/4/20 - This piece of garbage completely stopped working this morning. Nothing brewed in the carafe, nor would it brew a pod. Just sat there despite numerous attempts to reset, unplug/plug/unplug. NEVER AGAIN KEURIG

If I had read the reviews I would have known before buying that the pouring from the carafe without spilling is nearly impossible. (Adjusting to the idiosyncrasies of small appliances is not my forte, but I learned to pour my coffee over the sink.) Pushing the buttons always required a certain "touch" to get the thing to work, but this morning they stopped working altogether. Amazon now shows that the delivery time for a coffee maker is approximately 30 days, but going to the store to buy one during a pandemic seems a bit frivolous... How ever I buy the replacement, it will not be a Keurig.

I used this coffee maker for less than two months before I started having problems. The single-use servings were inconsistent, and sometimes the 6 oz serving would turn out 8 or more ounces, causing my coffee to overflow! I tried different K-cups, thinking that might be the problem, but it wasn't. The machine was temperamental and even after I followed the trouble-shooting instructions, it wasn't consistent. Sometimes it disbursed the correct amount of coffee, other times it didn't! I want to send it back, but it's passed the return date. Now it sits on my counter taking space.

When the carafe is full, it is difficult to pour without coffee leaking down the carafe. I'd read other reviews at Keurig and saw where others had the same issue and were able to get Keurig to exchange the carafe. I did that and still have the same issue. It must be poured slowly and sometimes I just don't get it quite right and it drips down the carafe to the counter. After 3 months, the Descale light came on. I followed the directions twice for descaling. Still the light would not turn off. Coffee was being made as normal so it did not seem there was any reason for the light to be on. I searched the web for the solution and ended up calling Keurig customer support. They told me to hold the 8 & 10 buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. That worked. Sure would have been nice if that had been documented somewhere. I'd return it but they only have a 30 day return policy. The Descale issue didn't even appear until over 90 days.

I had two coffee makes on my counter, one for brewing a pot and a Keurig. I was excited to order this, to reduce counter space used. It works fine, but there are two issues that I have. 1. The power turns off after every brew. My previous Keurig kept hot water in reserve, so I never had to wait for the water to warm up. I just put the pod in and made my coffee immediately. with the Duo, I have to turn the power back on and wait for it to warm up to brew. 2. I drink caffeinated coffee and my husband drinks decaf. I usually make a pot for me, and he uses the pods. When he uses the pod side, the warmer for my carafe cuts off and I am stuck with cold coffee. I was better off with my two coffee pots on the counter. At least I got hot coffee on demand.

I would have given this no stars if it allowed it. I ordered this machine in November 2019, but did not start using until mid December and by the end of January 2020 it would not even turn on! I called Keurig Customer Service since this is under a one year warranty and the lady I spoke to was very nice. She explained since I purchased on Amazon I had to provide proof of purchase. I sent my order number along with my whole order and proof of delivery. I then received an email from them stating what I sent did not meet the requirements of proof of purchase! I took 5 pictures of my machine showing I had it, showing it not working and a clear pic of the serial number. That was February 19th and I have yet to hear back. I sent an email yesterday asking for an update and still nothing. I am completely disappointed in this machine, especially for the price, and its company. I have owned a Nespresso that lasted years and was wanting to try something new..my mistake. I did state in one of my emails to them that I would be reviewing this purchase, I was hoping it was not going to have to be negative, but here we are. Before purchasing do your research on this machine and its company. I hope I am just one of those one off issues, but after reading some other reviews it appears I am not. I really hope Keurig does the right thing and honors the warranty THEY offer.

Don't waste your money. Used only 4 months once a day and coffee started leaking all over the counter and floor. The carafe (never dropped and only in the dishwasher twice) had a crack. Talking to Kuerig customer service and while examining, a circular piece of glass popped out the side. Kuerig rep said we could get a free replacement if I send him photos. I tried but the email address he confirmed 3 times turned out was not a working email. Plugged the coffee maker back in to use the k cup side. Got an "I r" on the screen, then it gurgled and blew up (loud bang) and died never to turn on again. $180 lost after only 4 months use. Threw it away.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Coffee maker is fine the problem is with the carafe. After pouring into a cup, coffee dribbles onto counter. Contacted the company, they admitted they have a problem with this unit and sent a new one. After several uses the carafe also began dribbling. I inspected both pots. It looks like the pot’s lid becomes warped after several heating cycles. I have recontacted the company so far no response.

3 months in and this machine has failed. Started shutting while brewing a pot of coffee. I also purchased the extended warranty and they were no help. Asurion transferred me to Keurig for troubleshooting. Why does amazon use asurion? In the end I'm out of coffee and the money I wasted in buying this coffee maker. Keurig said that it wasn't working properly and that one will be sent out when back in stock. Update on keurig kudo, I am pleased to say that Keurig customer service is one of the best around. After asurion gave the run around we called Keurig and they absolutely took care of my problem. They shipped a brand new one with no hassle or run around. Thanks keurig. I will update this review in a few months to see how this one works out.

So we have been using this product now for a few months. Pros: can set up for automatic brewing if the carafe! It has a carafe and single serve. Is a bit tall for under our kitchen cabinets, so needs to be pulled out every time we want to use carafe basket. Cons: Takes a long time to brew carafe but all water does get “drained” from grounds. A bit loud when brewing single serve. The carafe leaks everywhere every time!!!! We can only pour when standing over the sink. This is crazy to me that during design no one thought about improving on this! 2 large single serve brews fills a large Yeti Rambler... so you need to pour out a little to fit milk. Love the squared design as it looks more streamlined than our older single serve model

Bought two of these as I replaced the first one after one week. Returned the second one after 3 weeks. The pod side works fine. The carafe side is a horror story. Worked fine at first but then started shutting down around the 9 cup mark every time. The support person told me it was because I only used 10 tbsp of coffee rather than 15! Really? The carafe started staining and could not be cleaned though we used the same Folgers coffee we always used.... I am going to give it a rest and then try the Cuisinart version...

The Keurig Duo Is This Coffeemaker / Kcup You will want thank kuerig for coming up with their best idea yet The carafe side makes a pot of 12 cups of coffee, and the plate stays hot for 2 hours It also auto stops if you want to pour a cup of coffee You can brew between 6, 8,12 ounces of coffee The Kcup side is the same 6,8,12 ounces of coffee Also with the brewer side, it will not brew Gevalia hot chocolate But you can always use The Kcup side I would suggest run the machine at least twice on the carafe side and the Kcup side it's wonderful When it comes to cleaning I run it once a month with just water thru it just fine no need for white vinegar or Keurig horrible after tasting cleaning solution this is a must-buy It's also has a program to make your coffee stronger and a alarm to set up your carafe side for the next morning

Update: I received the warranty replacement, however it took 4 weeks to get it as Keurig does not have them in stock. I used the replacement coffee maker and again, after about 2 weeks of use the replacement broke. Because Keurig took so long to send me my replacement I fell outside of the refund window and Amazon is only giving me 80% of the original product price. I will never by Keurig again and I with think twice about buying small electronics from Amazon as they don't stand behind their vendor's products. The coffee maker itself broke within the first week I was using it. I'm not sure where the issue was, but it definitely seemed the like pump from the water reservoir to the carafe stopped working. Amazon put me in touch with Keurig as the product was under warranty by the manufacturer. Unfortunately, this item is on backlog right now and I've been waiting roughly 3 weeks for a replacement. Keurig said they couldn't commit to replacing quickly as "they've had a lot of warranty returns with this model". Totally disappointing.

I'm returning this brewer tomorrow after giving it a good try. The carafe side brews too cold and too quickly, not extracting the full flavor from the coffee grounds. We even tried doubling up on the filter to slow down the drip. Our coffee tasted like dishwater. We were adding heaping scoops and an extra scoop to try to get flavor from the excellent coffee grinds we've used for several years. Even on the single brewer side, we had bland, weak, lukewarm coffee. Forget adding milk to the cup because it was cold and had to be microwaved. Not to mention the horrible design of the coffee carafe that dribbles all over the counter. I'm completely disappointed and surprised that Keurig would unleash a coffee maker like this that was so "not ready for prime time." We have a single brew Keurig that we keep in our RV that brews so much better than this lukewarm, under engineered machine, and we paid half the price for it. Complete disappointment.

This is a great coffee maker, and it's ideal for single cups or a full pot. The K-cup choice allows me to choose the size cup I want, in either 6, 8, 10, or 12 ounces, and accepts most K-cups; I didn't realize K-cups come in different sizes until I bought this K-cup duo. The pot choice allows a selection of sizes in 6, 8, 10 or 12 cups, and accepts any drip coffee I select; it also has a selection button for stronger coffee. One thing that sets this coffee maker apart from most other K-cup coffee makers is that it has all raised buttons on top for all my selections. The raised button configuration is invaluable for my blind son; I bought it for him as a Christmas gift. A word of caution here: I almost returned this coffee maker, because it really slowed down letting water pass through, and wouldn't make a cup of coffee in the correct size I selected. We found however, it wasn't the coffee maker, but the water we chose to use. I had bought gallon jugs of GV spring water, and for some reason it contained sand, or something like sand in it, and was stopping up the coffee maker. We ran a couple of tanks of clear tap water through, and it cleared out the sandy grit, so now it works great again. So, be careful which water you use! We now run filtered water from our refrigerator through it to make coffee. It quickly makes great tasting coffee, and I like that it automatically powers off, two hours after the last cup or pot is made. I do recommend the Keurig K-cup Duo.

Within the last two months, I have gone through two K-Duo's. The first unit I purchased on Amazon. The second was a replacement by Keurig for the first unit. Our usage is almost exclusively on the carafe side of the product. Unit #1 worked daily for almost a month. Thereafter, while attempting to make a pot of coffee, the K-Duo would turn itself completely off after about 15 minutes having made only about 6 to 7 cups out of 12 cups selected. Repeated testing with clear water (no coffee) generated the same result. Tried resetting the unit using directions found online but with the same result. A call to Keurig's support resulted in them sending me a new K-Duo with the defective one returned. Unit #2 lasted 9 uses, then again suddenly began turning itself off at 15 minutes with only 6 to 7 cups having been made. I thereafter tested unit #2 six different times with fresh water, including filtered water, and the result was identical each time. I again contacted Keurig. At first, they tried to blame the mineral content in my water. Mind you, they know NOTHING about my water. Nor did this explain an abrupt failure after only 9 uses. After I refused to accept this reasoning, they then offered to send a K-Duo Plus. I am awaiting that. It is a different design, so hopefully will have a different outcome. I took this option as they refused to refund my purchase, which was my first choice. As a lesson learned, I should have returned it through Amazon because by going directly through Keurig and receiving a second defective unit, my window of time to return it through Amazon passed. Curious, I reviewed all of the Amazon reviews on the K-Duo and counted 21 reviews with similar or identical experiences to mine. I understand this is a new product for them, so perhaps they have some bugs to work out. It is a shame as it is a great looking product and worked wonderfully (at least until it didn't).

Got this coffee maker yesterday and can't even use it! I have been using Keurig coffee makers For many years now and this is the worst yet. It came with absolutely nothing except the coffee maker and the Carafe. The water filter is also not included. All the other Keurig Coffee makers that we have ever purchased always came with everything needed to make a cup of coffee right away. I couldn't find anything in the description of this coffee maker that says all this stuff is not included. I'm a 100% homebound disabled veteran and rely on the Internet to be able to get the things that I need, so now I will have to wait a few more days and more money to be able to use this coffee maker. Now I just hope it works ok.

We have had the coffee maker for 3 weeks and it just started overflowing when we use the K-cup side. I measured the output and when I press 8 ounces I am getting 10 +. The craft also is not correct. Problems happen, but when I called Keurig they said that they would replace it. However, it is out of stock and we have to wait. I think I made a mistake getting it from Amazon. I paid $150.00 and now have a defective coffee maker until Keurig restocks. I should have bought a $125.00 Ninja at Sams. At least if that didn't work I could take it back and get one that did work.

This is my third Keurig coffee make, so I love the coffee. However this coffee maker has the cheapest buttons you can use. They get stuck down, and you can't brew your next coffee with them stuck down. So, you have to mess with them to get them to pop up. I have no confidence that this coffee maker will last a long time, the buttons will one day stick, and refuse to pop us, and that will be that. We have technology for very good buttons. Keurig has cut corners, but not the price. This was NOT cheap to buy, but evidently was cheap to make. Shame on you Keurig.

This is our second unit and it is definitely NOT worth it. We have had a Keurig for several years and love it, but this set up is definitely flawed. The first unit we got only made one pot of coffee before we got a error code (motor seized). The second one sounds like a a large piece of machinery starting up in my kitchen, which tells me it’s not going to last long. My office bought the same one as well and it last all of 3 weeks. Keurig had a great idea they just didn’t put forth the effort on this one.

This is incredibly handy for us who need a quick cup of coffee, or four, without having to grind, measure, add water etc. But we also enjoy big cups of some speciality coffees, especially on weekends and the attached coffeemaker means one machine in the kitchen instead of two. The only thing I would ping this on is the relatively longer amount of time it takes for the K cup to heat up and pour, it was much faster on my standalone Keurig machine. Otherwise it’s a great fit our household.

Hoping 3rd time was a charm but not the case. I gave this unit a 3rd try but had same problem as last 2. The timer turned on but took 45 minutes to brew only 10 cups when set for 12. Heating plate not only didn’t turn on but whole unit shut off completely. I love Keurig but they need to work out the kinks.

It would be nice if it came with everything it needed to work. I guess it's my fault for believing I could by a coffee pot and not have to buy filter assembly separate so couldn't even try it out.

This is the worse coffee pot I have ever used. I have to change the water each time I use it. It tastes like plastic gunk. I have NOT had a cup of coffee since I got it. I have wasted so many pods, (they are Keurig coffee pods). The coffee that I loved tastes like crap. I hate this machine.

Very cheaply made. Don’t think it will last that long. Single cup brewing side splatters outside the perimeters of the cup. Thought I’d lose the handle to the coffee pot when cleaning. Having the water dispenser in the back of the unit is not easy to maneuver the entire machine in order to put the water in or to remove the water dispenser in order to pour out the unused water.

This product is NOT the same as the picture. Photo shows option to preset and strong brew. The Keurig I received does NOT have those options. Disappointing that it's advertised differently than what the customer receives. Other reviewers got the correct one....I even went back to read description and reviews to make sure I hadn't made the mistake. This is not the first time I've received inaccurate orders. Not worth returning, but extremely dissatisfied that it seems like bait and switch on some items purchased. Additional Edit: Amazon was great about fixing the error with the wrong item being sent. However, now the carafe side will not brew a full pot and the hot plate doesn't turn on automatically. Worked great for about 3 weeks. This is junk. Buy something else. Not happy with Keurig at all.

This product was literally a genius idea, Keurig! The possibility of brewing either a single cup or a whole pot with only one machine is like a gift from the heavens for me! I typically only have one cup of coffee on weekday mornings, but on the weekends I'll drink multiple cups in a day, so it's wonderful to have both options in one machine, instead of having to configure two separate machines in my hardly non-existent counter space. I currently own 2 other Keurig models - the Keurig K15 Coffee Maker which I keep on my desk at work and use EVERY morning, and the Keurig K-Classic Coffee Maker which I received as a gift and keep at my home on the counter. I LOVE my K15 and have had it for 8 years (purchased for my dorm room in 2011), and it is still functioning perfectly. For the K15, it's a single serve type so you turn it on, pour in your desired amount of water, put your coffee pod in, and hit BREW.. and that's literally it. You're free to do whatever while the machine heats the water and then your coffee pours out when it's done (typically less than a 5 minute process from start to finish) - I never knew that was such a big deal to me until I got the K-Classic version (which has the water reservoir on the left side). For the K-Classic, you have to turn it on, then the machine heats the water (which takes wayyyy longer than I wish it did, I don't leave the machine turned on when not in use so it has to heat up and get prepped every time I use it which generally takes 5-10 minutes just to get to the point where I can start the brew) and once the water is heated THEN you put in your coffee pod, pick your desired size, and then the coffee brews and pours out. I literally hardly use my K-Classic because you have to turn it on and then come BACK to it to even start it - with the addition of that extra step along with the wait time it adds, it just doesn't fit into my lifestyle very well (there isn't a morning where I'm NOT rushing around multitasking while getting ready and ultimately leaving late for work - every minute is precious!). When I saw a review of this K-Duo™ Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker on youtube (thanks @jelly007) I literally bought it immediately. It fits my needs PERFECTLY, because it has a water reservoir like the K-Classic which is hugely convenient, but the water heating functions the same as the K15 did, where you turn the machine on and select what you want, pop your pod in, and you can go do whatever you need to do while it heats the water then brews, then come back when it's ready (which, seriously Y'ALL, it takes 2 minutes from start to finish to make a single serve cup). I gave my K-Classic to my parents because this point about the timing of when the water heats literally sells the machine for me, along with the specific availability to do either a single serve cup or a whole pot (carafe) with ONE machine - it's the coffee maker of my dreams and I wouldn't change a thing about it!

I was very disappointed in this coffee maker. It is cheaply made, when brewing a pot of coffee, I had to put the grounds around the sides because somehow the middle didnt get any water...which made the coffee very weak. It's doesn't seem very sturdy like my regular keurig, like one wrong move and I may break it. One last thing, I can't make a 4 cup pot of coffee, smallest pot is 6 cups. Im sending back today.

This is the third one I have received. First one didn’t work at all, both sides, no matter what I did. Second one looked like it was used, scratches all over & big one on warming plate. This one came good, got it Nov 23, today, Dec 3, 10 days, the warming plate surface is starting to come off. I have only used a soft sponge to clean it! I’m so disappointed in Keurig. I so wanted this to be good because the concept is great. ??‍♀️ For the money it’s not worth it.

The 1st 6 weeks this unit worked great. I wish it came with detailed instructions that did not include turning to their website for simple support issues like setting the auto start feature. Those who said the "strong" feature does not work on the carafe that is because when you actually get a hold of the full instructions online it explains that that feature only works with the K-cups not the carafe brew. After 6 weeks the carafe starting leaking. I realized that it was leaking from under the glass where the plastic meets the top of the carafe. Customer service was very helpful and said they would send me a new carafe. Within a few days of that the "descale" notice went on. Now having only owned this unit for 8 weeks and always using filtered water there should be no reason to need to descale so soon. I played along and went through the instructions on purchasing the Keurig descaler ($7 a bottle and you need to use the entire bottle). This entire process of cleaning the machine takes almost 2 hours to complete. I went through the process 4 times before giving up and even cleaned the needle as others have suggested online. Once again I contacted customer service. They were very helpful and said they would be replacing my entire machine. The only downfall is that they are currently back ordered. (interesting wonder why???). I will update this review in the future if it improves or gets worse.

I bought the new Keurig k duo for my wife because she has had the first Keurig model since they came out and it was not working at its best anymore. She expressed how it would be nice to have one coffee maker on the counter instead of a Keurig and a full size coffee maker. Pros 1. It is easy to use and set up 2. it is nice to have one maker that brews single serve and/or a whole pot 3. it does have a strong brew button for single serve Cons 1. Way over priced for what you get 2. Keurig should include 1 reusable filter for each the single serve and full size pot for the price. Instead you have to purchase the full size reusable filter separately and not sure if you can purchase one for the single serve. I would think they would try to be more environmentally friendly by offering them. They can still sell the filters separately because people may want a couple of each. 3.Poor"pour" Carafe Design.. Its impossible to pour a cup without spilling it on the counter. It amazes me how these companies do not test their new designs... whats wrong with the classic pour spout? there's a reason it never fails. I also noticed the the whole rim, top, and handle of the carafe is plastic and we all know plastic can break down but they could always offer a replacement carafe for sale but unless they change the design no one will want it. 4. It only keeps it warm up to 2 hours and so you don't have a choice to increase the hot plate time 5. You should be able to use the strong brew for the drip brew not just the single serve. overall I gave it 2 stars because you should be able to pour a cup without it spilling coffee so shame on Keurig for not testing the carafe design... so now I am having to look for a thermos to keep from having to pour out of it more than once and also to keep my coffee warmer for more than 2 hours. The price would be a better value if they included reusable filter for the carafe and single serve. Personally I think they should pull them from the shelves and redesign the carafe spout and offer a free redesigned carafe to the people who already purchased it with the old carafe design and also registered their product with Keurig.

So this is day two and a couple things I'm picking up on really quick. My $75 simple Keurig definitely seemed much better. 1. When putting the k cup in, the tray doesn't pull down like most models which angles it so you don't catch your fingers on the blade. I caught my knuckle trying to pull the k cup out. 2. I used the coffee pot this morning to get hot water for my boys hot chocolate. I love that easy option however while it was pouring, the water doesn't drain into the pot. It drains into the lid and then drains into the pot through the holes. Looking almost like it's not aligned properly. Very poor set up. 3. It also doesn't come with any charcoal water filters like other keurigs provided you with. Not even a starter. I expected better quality for $149. Edit to add 4 days later: i can't believe how loud it is ?. You can't hear the tv over it in the neighboring room. Lol. Insanely loud.

11/28/19- Updating my previous review to say that today, ON THANKSGIVING, the carafe side of the machine decided to stop working... Could only get 8 cups out of it and the heater wasn't working. Extremely disappointing especially for the money we spent on this machine after researching and researching. Luckily for us though, Amazon will let us return it still at the inconvenience of taking it to a UPS store and figuring out how to package it. For $172, we should've easily gotten more than a month worth of uses out of it- and really, the carafe side was maybe used 7-8 times during the month we had it. Disappointing. My biggest complaint is how small the water tank is on it... I wish I would've researched that a bit before purchasing this one- perhaps I could've found one with a larger tank. Overall though, it's good.

Love this machine! I’ve been asking my mom for the longest time to please get a keurig as I like regular, she and my dad only like decaf. Never wanted to make a full pot just for myself. We came across this neat machine that makes both the pot of coffee which my parents wanted and the pod so I can make my one cup when I’m at their house. Love it such a great compromise! Side note. My mom always said she would never use the k-cup, only the pot of coffee. When this came in I also ordered her a variety pack of decaf k cups and now she is hooked!! Who doesn’t want to try a different fun flavor every time? This machine is definitely a win-win! Make a full pot if you want to drink a lot or have several people drinking coffee or just one cup yourself w the k cup. Love it!!

You would expect that the designers at Keurig could create a carafe that would not drip every time you pour yourself a cup of coffee. If a $15 Mr. Coffee can do it, why can’t my $160 Keurig? If you want to use an entire roll of paper towels every time you brew a pot of coffee - this product is for you.

The Strong brew feature doesn't work on the carafe cycle. The regular carafe brew is VERY weak. We use Starbucks dark French roast, and it tastes like cafeteria coffee in this machine. We didn't use the carafe side when we first got it, so don't know whether the machine is defective or poor design in the first place. First time we tried to use the Strong feature on the carafe and discovered it wouldn't work was after the Amazon return period was over or this would be going back. Update: Keurig offered a toll-free number to call as a response to my negative review, which I called. Their first response to the weak carafe brew problem was that the Strong brew-feature doesn't work on the carafe side unless you upgrade to the Plus model. Hmmm. I hadn't seen any advertising outlining that difference in their models. Their second suggestion was to use more coffee than I normally do to see if the brew would be stronger. I replied I didn't think I needed to spend my money to use more coffee than I did in my old Cuisinart to get a decent pot of brewed coffee. At that point, Keurig offered to replace the machine under its' warranty, which I accepted and have received. After using it for almost 2 months, my updated review is the carafe brew is only slightly better, but still not as fresh and robust as our Cuisinart was. I also think it's ridiculous to have a Strong brew feature on just a K-pod side and then charge more for it to work on the carafe side. Bad design idea to begin with, and insufficient advertising of the feature differences so consumers can make a well-informed choice. We have donated this machine to Goodwill.

Love that this has both the function to brew a full pot and also make a k-cup single serve in one machine. This replaced two coffee pots because my husband prefers brewed from grounds in a carafe and I like the k-cup convenience and variety. My only disappointment in this machine is the design of the glass carafe. It spills coffee everywhere, no matter how careful you are when you pour it. Literally every single time. It’s definitely frustrating. I hope Keurig will redesign it and offer it for parts replacement. Otherwise love everything about this machine and freeing up the counter space!

I bought this product because I LOVED my Keurig machine. I wanted to make a pot of coffee for my guests and be able to offer a personal flavor of coffee to another guest with the kcup. After the first week the h/m button quit working. It is hard to set a auto pot to go off if the correct time does not work. Very disappointed and wish I could get a refund. I would not recommend this to anyone. I also told my daughter not to purchase because she was considering.

So done with this Keurig Duo....don't bother buying this coffee maker. The brand new replacement provided by Keurig has the same problems as the original. They both were so frought with glitches you never know if you're getting a full cup or carafe. Totally wasted my money!! Tried 2 units and both failed miserably. Gonna buy the Duo version of the Cuisinart. First and last Keurig coffee maker. UPDATE: Amazon called and put me in touch with Keurig customer service because the return period had passed. I spent 2.5 hours on the phone with Keurig customer service, but in the end they replaced the unit under warranty. Of course I haven't received it yet, but it is on the way. Upgraded to 2 stars because of customer service, would have been 3 stars if resolution would have been under 1.5 hours. Horrible decision to buy this coffee pot. Only use this thing one time a day, one Kcup of coffee and one carafe of coffee each day but didn't even work for a month. Less than a month and the carafe shuts off after 2 mins regardless of the carafe size selected. To make a pot of coffee you have to manually start the maker 5 times, then manually turn on the carafe warmer. Piece of junk.

I waited forever for my old coffee maker to die so I could buy one that does both K-Cups and a full pot of coffee. I searched and searched for the "right" coffee maker. Being so satisfied with my first Keurig, I thought this would be the best way to go. Sigh... Pros: It's pretty compact given what it can do. Others have complained, but I like the reservoir on the back of the machine. Works with K cups and can make a pot of coffee. Cons: It. Leaks. Everywhere. No matter how many times I try to make this stupid karafe pour without dripping, my research has shown it is impossible. We now keep a paper towel on the counter and pour over that to avoid coffee dripping on everything and running onto the floor. We probably lose a half-cup to cup of coffee out of each karafe. The auto timer worked initially. I was so excited the first few days! And then. BAM. It doesn't work. No matter how many times I try to reset the darn thing I have to start a pot myself. Oh, and when you haven't had your coffee at 4 am the sequence of buttons you have to push to get the machine to remember that it forgot to make coffee, cancel that pot, and start a new one if far, far too much. All I wanted was a nice coffee maker. So disappointed.

Same ounces of coffee I made in my old Kuerig, comes out weak in this one. Tried making 3 cups. 10 oz. Regular brew and the strong brew. Tried 8 oz on regular brew. The “strong” button doesn’t stay on. The auto feature for the carafe only comes on if you power the machine on. Doesn’t come on automatically. The clock is on top of the unit so you can’t see it unless you’re standing right at it. Doesn’t keep your cup settings either. You have to choose them every time. First Kuerig I’ve ever been dissatisfied with. Will return.

The footprint is a little big, but I have ample space on my coffee bar to accommodate. Single serve is great and I enjoy the strong brew option. Brewing in the carafe is easy but there is no strong brew option when using the carafe. You can use more coffee to make up for this, but I would prefer the strong brew option when using the carafe. I bought the gold wire coffee basket, it's not included, instead of using filters. Since I have a cabinet partially over the top of the unit, it makes adding water a little cumbersome but not really difficult. Overall I'm enjoying the unit....let's see how long it lasts.

This coffee maker does a great job of making beverages. It also does a great job of dribbling coffee on my counter and floor from the supplied glass carafe. Seems like a company with such a good reputation would be able to design a coffee maker that would be neater to use. We primarily use the glass carafe for everyday use and the single brewer for evening pleasures. I guess they put all their research into single serving brewers and have not worked so hard on the normal coffee maker part. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't buy this model.

The best feature for us was the ability to have a good size water tank that can be placed next to the unit. This does 2 things: (1) it makes it unnecessary to have to fill the coffee maker with water every time it is used and (2) the tank can be installed where it is most convenient for refilling. We were disappointed that there is no option for making 4 cups using the carafe feature. This means that the minimum with this feature is 6 cups. The K-cup feature enables brewing 4, 8 or 12 ounces. The directions could be improved because when we first purchased it, we thought it was defective, when, in fact, it was our not being made aware of the things that can prevent the brewer from operating.

I love Keurig coffee and the single serve is as good as ever. The carafe is extremely disappointing. It is virtually impossible to pour from the pot without coffee running all over the counter. It seems that this is one of the more basic design issues and it is inexcusable. Additionally, it seems hard to maintain a consistent quality of coffee from pot to pot. The $80 pot that I replaced did a much better job!

Finally a machine that will make a pot or single with a programable feature. This is what I have been waiting on. I had a cuisinart ss-15 that did the same thing, except two of them quit working after 3 months. So, I replaced it with this Keurig K-Duo. So far this is a good one, but time will tell how long it last. We make about 10 pots and 50 cups a week. I looked at the cheaper version sold at Wal-Mart, but really wanted the programable feature so I can get out the door quickly in the mornings. But, if that doesn't matter to you, get the cheaper version and save some money. Overall I have no complaints yet. Good Job Keurig!!

This Keurig K-Duo is like the best of both worlds in one compact machine - a single serve brewer that accommodates our biggest travel mugs and a large glass carafe drip coffee maker. We have been using the Keurig 2.0 for many years, and that was fine on weekdays when my husband and I were making our coffee at different times. We were interested in a carafe-based drip system for the weekend or for parties, when we wanted to make a big pot that could be shared. I tried a different brand of carafe plus single serve brewers previously and was not pleased. I was concerned this Keurig K-Duo would be too big for my counter from the pictures online, but to my surprise this machine was not much wider and the Duo was actually shorter in height by around 1.5". We have been using the new brewer for about a month now and are gradually getting used to the new brewer. Below are my assessments so far: Pro: -Single serve brewer accomodates our tallest travel mugs, including ones that never fit in the Keurig 2.0, and our biggest ceramic coffee mugs. -The glass carafe is large and wide opening top that is easy to clean. -System warms up quickly when turned on (although it is louder than the Keurig 2.0 was) -Single serve portion has a "strong" button to make more strong flavored coffee. -Drip coffee portion accomodates 12 cups of coffee. -Water reservoir is wide and easy to clean out. -Compact size fits easily under a cabinet. Cons: -Water reservoir is on the back and unless you have it at the edge of the counter, you might have to spin the machine around to take the reservoir on and off. -The water reservoir seems smaller than previous models. -The controls require a pattern of button pushing, instead of a menu of preset options as we had on our Keurig 2.0. It is easy to figure out, but when you trying to get coffee made as you are rushing out of the house, it can be frustrating if you didn't hit the 'start' button and the machine fell asleep on you and didn't make your coffee. (This is a nitpicky issue of mine, but just a warning to be sure you hit the "start" button and hear it starting to brew.) -Buttons and controls are on top of the machine - consider this when selecting placement of the device. These controls could be hard to see if you have low cabinets or something over the device - I prefer the front back-lit screen display of the Keurig 2.0 in this aspect. A few other things of note are that this device does not come with any basket style coffee filters for the drip coffee/carafe side. You will need the 12-15 cup max size basket style filters. Also there was mention about using a water filter in the reservoir but there was no filter and no filter holder included with this device. I believe there was a filter holder and a sample filter included in our previous Keurig 2.0 machines, but no filter items are included with the Keurig Duo. Overall I like this new Keurig-Duo device so far. It just takes some getting used to after we have been using the old single serve Keurig machines so many years. So far it is working with all of my k-cups and with our reusable k-cups we put loose coffee in, including a set of reusable k-cups that had pieces sticking out on the sides that didn't fit in the Keurig 2.0 machine.

Upon opening the box, I got a pleasant surprise-- taped to the top of my test machine was two boxes of pods and a bag of ground coffee. I didn’t realize that it would come with coffee to start me off. Looking inside the box, this is a nice tight compact machine, it looks like it'll fit into the space I've got on the counter- very much the same height as my old Keurig K-40 single-shot machine, just a little wider. Putting the machine together and washing the pieces, I was a little disappointed that a higher-end machine like this did not include a reusable filter basket. I'll have to buy some paper filters at the grocery store before I can brew a pot using grounds. Following the instructions in the included booklet, I set the clock, rinsed out the water reservoir and the pot and started the procedure to do a cleansing rinse of the pot. The instruction book mentions that it may take 4 minutes to heat up the first time to run the pot of hot water, so I set it up and walked away from it to do other things. I checked back about an hour later and the white light was still blinking but there was no water had brewed. I unplugged the machine and reset the clock and started it again to try and brew a pot of just water. It is brewing water this time, but there seemed to be some kind of a strange delay. Perhaps there was an air bubble in a water line somewhere? The water volume in this first test using the eight-cup setting and brewed almost 9 cups of water? Is that because I had to restart it? I'm going to run another test brew through it and see what happens. The test brew number 4 on the pod side seemed to work just fine. The second test pot still ran almost 9 cups. Perhaps they’re accounting for the amount of water the coffee grounds will absorb? Having got everything set up, it's a cinch to press the on button and have it heat up the water to make a quick pod for a cup of coffee in just moments. After my next trip to the grocery store to buy paper filters, I set up a pot of coffee to brew. Took about 7 minutes to brew an 8-cup batch of coffee, and the water levels on the pot seem to be correct, so it looks like they were accounting for the water that stays in the coffee grounds. When using the single-serve pod side of the coffee maker, I like that there is multiple setting for how many ounces you want in your cup, plus a ‘strong’ button if you’re in a mood for an extra-strong cup. When making a cup with the pods, when you power on the machine it heats up quickly, and you’re brewing your hot cup of coffee in less than a minute. After using this for a couple of weeks, I must say that I do indeed like it and recommend it to anyone that needs a double-duty machine for pods or a full pot.
