I use it for making soap and it works well. The blade part attaches quite tightly and securely .

It's too slow compared to my old cusinart that broke down. You end up with a chunky blend and not super smooth.

I like the way it feels in my hand. Very comfortable and easy to hold. Takes up less room in drawer because it breaks down. Two speeds are a good feature!
