I got this four months ago ,I have been using it twice a week ever since works really well on smaller amounts of coffee. Very easy to clean I put the top parts in the dishwasher top
area. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

I've loved the other KitchenAid products I've purchased in the past, which is why this coffee grinder proved doubly disappointing. It doesn't grind coffee beans evenly. I'm always left with a layer of very coarsely ground beans on top and a tightly packed layer of too finely-ground beans on the bottom around the blades. I only ever fill it up halfway, so being too full isn't the problem. It's also really loud and the lid doesn't secure onto the base (by design). I like that the cup is metal and dishwasher-safe, but that's about where the positives end. My GE coffee grinder worked ten times better.
