What a wonderful appliance. It's easy to use, quiet and has a variety of cutting/slicing options. I recently used this to slice an entire bag of potatoes for a scallop potato recipe. Each slice was uniform and the process was very quick. T
o make everything just that much better, cleanup is easy as this item is top- rack dishwasher safe. This appliance seems very well made and I'm looking forward to using it time and again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I will always buy Kitchen Aid appliances . I can count on quality ! This food processor chops just they way I want. I use the pulse feature often . Does a great job on veggies as well as meats , chicken ect. Makes salads with ease , chops nuts perfectly for my baking projects . It stores easily in a regular size cabinet. I ended up returning this. The buttons on the front were , very hard to push. I also didn't like that alot of the shredded food piled up in the cover by the shoot. When you remove the work dish, alot of shredded food fell down in the center & there was no easy way to get it out. I liked the fact that you could reverse the shredding disk to fine or coarse and also that you could adjust the thickness of the slicing disk. Does not compare to my Robot Coupe that I had for over 30 years [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This processor is the best processor I have ever had. It compliments my other Kitchen Aid appliances. The exact slice feature makes for some very special fixings in our every day life. From my Kitchen Aid refrigerator to my new food processor, then on to my Kitchen Aid Convection oven or convection microwave, or my kitchen aid convection counter top oven, this processor has opened up a whole new way of working in my Kitchen Aid Kitchen. The new food processor is harder to understand and operate than the previous Kitchen Aid I had. That said, it also does a better job of slicing and shredding using the newly designed discs. It is very hard to remove the lid or snap the lid in place prior to operating it. I am 84 and have arthritis in both hands, so this is painful for me. I hope that with time and use it will loosen up a bit. Not sure I would recommend it. I don't like the black cord. I am replacing a Kitchen Aid. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
