The Professional 5 Plus has a powerful 450-watt motor that delivers enough power to handle the heaviest mixtures, and mixes large batches easily. This special bowl lift model has brackets on the bowl that fit over support pins on the stand mixer, which is than lifted up by a handle on the right side of the mixer to lock the bowl in place while mixing (this design is made to handle heavy mixtures and large recipes). The 5-quart polished stainless steel bowl is dishwasher safe. Its ergonomically designed handle is contoured to fit the hand and makes lifting the bowl more comfortable. This mixer also features a unique mixing action: the beater spins clockwise as the shaft spins counter clockwise, moving the beater to 67 different points around the bowl.

Sleek, fab & a must for cooks! My son thought I'd like a new one since mine is basically an antique but naw-she still works great so I made him use it for his new home & he loves it! My kids are room mates so my daughter is going to make pasta with it and my son said he actually enjoyed making a cake the other day! Kids move out-buy them one-no excuse for not making great food like momma showed them how!!! Thx KA:)

I love this machines , my boyfriend got it for me for Christmas and It's the best gift ever. It have make my life a lot easy to cook. I bake all my kids birthday cakes and omg I wish I could of had this machine before. I have always wanted it but because of money problems this year was my year to get it I have waited 6 years to buy it. This machine is so easy to used and clean . My MIL bought me this for Christmas! I literally hugged it when I opened it. I have used it 3 times and LOVE it. It makes baking so much easier now. Now I don't dread when my kids as if I could bake something that could be difficult with a hand mixer. Now I am up for any challenge and my son has given me one for is 8th birthday coming up in April. I will be making a rainbow cake. Lots of different colored layers. Can't wait!

I bought this for my wife for Christmas, and she absolutely loves it !! She does a lot of baking around the holidays it will come in very handy for next years festivities.. I'm going to buy some of the accessories to try my hand at sausage an polish kielbasas, can't wait !!! I got her a red one because I love her so...:)

I bought this sometime in November and I've used it for a lot of things now. It makes it easier when I bake now since I have carpal tunnel it made it hard for me to mix by hand or kneed dough now all I gotta do is gather the ingredients and put them in and the mixer mixes them well. I purchased this for Christmas/birthday I decided to spoil myself for once I'm glad I made the purchase.

I was online Christmas shopping and ran across the Kitchenaid 5qt mixer. Thinking that I can only use it to mix things I wasn't going to buy it, but it matches my kitchen so I did!! Well when I started using it and finding out more way to use it other than just a mixer, I fell in love with it!' I use it for everything, I make ice cream, I chop thing , and I'm going to learn how to make pasta!! It is really the best appliance I have on my counter that gets used many days out of the week!!

My husband bought this for me a couple of weeks ago and the spiralizer too. I have made bread and peeled and sliced apples for pies. Very, very impressed with the great job it did and how user friendly it was. I can't wait to buy more attachments when they are in the budget.

This is really a wonderful mixer! It can mix almost everything and truly does an awesome job in the kitchen as a helper. I have always loved the Kitchenaid products and will continue to use them for many years in the future. It is very easy to use and it doesn't mess up the area and it saves time rather than manually mixing ingredients.It is very easy to clean. You can wipe off the outside and the beaters are easy to clean. I always soak them for a little while in the hot soapy water,then rinse them off,you don't usually have to scrub them.lots of attachments for lots of uses.simply we call it as all in one kitchen product.Very well designed and more powerful than other brands.

Years ago, I asked for a stand mixer for Christmas . I got a lesser brand. I'm a serious baker/cook and the motor wasn't powerful enough to get through chocolate chip cookie mix. This year, I asked for a GOOD stand mixer. I was rewarded early with my Kitchen Aid stand mixer! What a godsend! It powered effortlessly through my chocolate chip mix, and I've made homemade, fresh bread from the recipe cookbook ! It's my first time ever! Easy to use and fun, I found bread making rather therapeutic and that's what I need during the holidays!
