I love that I can now whip things up in minutes with it. It feels like a lifetime product, built to last and easy to use. It also matched my red Kitchen Aid roaster. Beautiful color :) (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

I have used the mixer to make cream cheese icing and it was awesome! Really like the slow start as I never got icing sugar all over the counter. Mixed in just great! Also used it to mix some of the ingredients for my carrot cake. Makes life a lot easier in the baking department! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

I needed a smaller, less cumbersome mixer for whisking many eggs, making pancake or giiddle batters and waffle batters. This mixer has performed those tasks masterfully. I have yet to put this mixer under heavy load and doubt I ever will unless necessary. I feel more comfortable using my Kitchen Aid Artisan model for big jobs such as making dough, large cookie, cake and pie mixes. I just find the task easier. The Artisans locking bowl feature and superior power inspire confidence and peace of mind. Below they ask for all kinds of ratings! This appliance will get a five star rating from me, but wouldn't most new appliances or one would just return it to place of purchase. I bought this appliance for long term durability. My last hand mixer blew up when a hard ball of brown sugar got between its mixing arm attachments!?! You would get a more honest and accurate appraisal of your appliance if you waited a year before requesting these ratings, or are you afraid of that time lapse? Judging by the performance and durability of my Artisan model, you would have no reason.

I got this recently and started using it yesterday. This is my first hand mixer and I find it very useful. I find it a little heavy but I assume all hand mixers would be the same. It is easy to use. The accessories can be inserted and removed easily.

I have only used the beaters and the whisk so far, but both performed well. I did have some trouble getting the attachments to click in, but that may just be a matter of becoming more familiar with the mixer. I really like the gradual increase in speed - means less splattering - and the fact that it's so quiet. I don't have room for a stand mixer, but I think this hand mixer will do everything I need. Great colour too.

I needed to replace an old hand mixer and was determined to buy Kitchenaid to do so. I wanted a Kitchenaid because I have several of their appliances already like a wall oven, cooktop and stand mixer. I also wanted the 9 speed because of all the features, the extra attachments, storage bag for the attachments and a cord wrap for storing the mixer, and the colour, what's not to love? A 9 speed too for the power it gives. It's quieter than the one I replaced so all round I'm happy again with Kitchenaid!

When replacing a competitor's defective(lemon) hand mixer, I went back to the line that has always been my favourite- KITCHENAID. With 9 speeds it's easy to make any cake or dessert. Right now it's being used for pudding and that needs a steady and slow speed. Carrier bag is useful as is the range of beaters/paddles. Kitchenaid stands behind its products and my 12 cup food processor is as good as any big machine that I have used. I will buy Kitchenaid in the future, again.

I bought this almost 2 months ago and have used it multiple times to mix dough for making gluten free bread. The current space in my kitchen does not allow me keep a stand mixer. This hand mixer is quieter then most and mixes through thicker dough without burning the motor.

When looking for a mixer I always like to keep versatility in mind, and the KitchenAid architect series hand blender is just that. With 4 different types of mixing attachments (beaters, dough hooks, whisk and liquid blending rod.) and 9 mixing speeds this kitchen appliance is perfect for every kitchen project, whether it be whipping or emulsifying egg whites and whipped cream, beating cake batter or cookie dough, kneading bread or pizza dough, or even making the perfect smoothie, this appliance does it all!
