I originally bought this countertop oven to supplement my main oven for small things here and there. I waited after I got a sense of how it works to write this review, and I've got to say that it has exceeded my expectations! Before I started using the oven I placed an oven thermometer inside and waited a few minutes to see if the temperatures were accurate and they are, for that I am very pleased. This oven is very spacious, I can fit a quarter sheet pan or a regular 13x9 inch pan well. The day right before thanksgiving my main oven stopped working and just when I was ready to give up I realized that I could do so much in this little oven. I made sourdough bread in a cast iron dutch oven, baked 2 small hams in a 13x9 pan, and made paella and osso bucco in an 11 inch X 3ish inch tall rondeau, it can even fit a 5 inch tall dutch oven if your lid isn't too tall. I haven't used it yet for cookies or roasting chicken and such, but as evenly as it heats, and as well insulated as it is I am sure that it will excel at these tasks. The interface is super easy to figure out, the space inside is great and this bakes so evenly. It also goes without saying that this countertop oven looks and feels premium. I love my Kitchenaid products because Kitchenaid stands behind their products! I couldn't be more pleased with my little oven. We got this oven a few days and have made pizza and homemade cheesy garlic bread in it so far. We are just getting started though. I think this oven would be perfect for a dorm room because it's more compact yet faster than a regular oven. This convection type oven cooks faster than a common oven so you need to check on what you're cooking because it might burn. Easy to clean tray on bottom of oven. It warms up quickly and has preprogrammed times for many cooking tasks. It has a timer to help prevent overcooking. We want to try making many dishes in this oven including meat and potatoes. I am a huge fan of toaster ovens. They heat up quicker than regular ovens and are much easier to clean. This Kitchenaid Oven combines a lot of the best features of both types of ovens. You can use it for all the usual toaster oven features such as toasting bagels or bread and it's big enough to cook a whole roast chicken. This oven is a bit taller than my usual ovens as most of the controls are located at the bottom of the oven, but it's also a little narrower. The unit is sleek and the tempered black glass looks great on the counter. It has one of the best looking interiors when illuminated - your food looks like a work of art! Unlike other toaster ovens where the drip / crumb tray is located at the bottom of the oven, this one is located inside the oven. At first I didn't like the placement because I thought it left a lot of wasted space within the oven, but as I used it more I grew to prefer it as it made cleanup much easier to have your drip tray ABOVE the heating elements where you wouldn't have food dripping and burning on the heating elements. The unit heated up quick and my toast came out evenly browned. Most ovens are silent. This oven beeps as you press the different settings, I didn't prefer it, though others may like the audio feedback. A nice touch on this oven is the heating probe. I've used external temperature thermometers before and they were always messy while in use. Much nicer to have it plug in directly to the side of your oven and not have wires protruding out of the oven. It also comes with all the main cooking pans you need for the oven, including a a chrome plated steel broiling rack, an enameled multi-purpose pan, and a chrome plated steel oven rack. The instructions warn not to have anything within 4 inches of the oven and a lot of heat does radiate out of the unit so be careful with that, but it's no more than other toaster ovens. It's a nice touch that the top of the oven is designed to serve as a cooling rack space. Overall, so long as this oven fits under your counter it's a great versatile unit at a very reasonable price point. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This oven is awesome! The preheat time is extremely quick compared to a regular sized oven. Not only that, it has cut my time in half when baking. I also love that there is presets from the oven temp and time of cookies, frozen pizza, broil, and roast setting. I would definitely recommend this for camping, or used as an additional oven during the holidays. I wish it was a little bit bigger, but in my opinion, that isn't a deal breaker. This is not my parent's convection oven. It is so much better! This convection oven has quite a large capacity and preheat quickly. I baked a peach crisp in the oven and it was done in about 25 minutes compared to 50 minutes in a standard oven. The unit cools down very quickly too, so you wont have a hot kitchen for as long as you would when using the oven. The oven comes with a roasting pan for cooking meat which is nice. I received the KitchenAid - Dual Convection Countertop Oven and I am so in Love with it. This Convection oven can do it all and does not take up that much space. My Family loves Pasta dishes with my homemade sauce and with the Summer heat I never want to use our Oven for long periods but now, they get their Pasta in the Summer. I made a big pan of baked Rigatoni and 20 minutes at Convection Bake 325 with foil on then 20 minutes Convection Bake 325 with foil off and BAM - the picture speaks for itself- without the house heating up. It also comes with a temperature probe, enamel pan, steel oven rack, steel broiling rack, crumb tray. The LCD display is very nice and easy to understand with a lot of options, even Frozen. I love to cook and spend a lot of time in my kitchen preparing meals for my family, friends, and social gatherings. I have been using this KitchenAid convection oven almost every day since I received it and I am more than impressed with it. The digital display is easy to read and the 12 preset cooking functions make cooking a breeze. I can check my food without opening the door because of the convenient interior light. This oven also has a non-stick surface that makes cleaning up much easier and quicker. I love how much quicker and evenly this convection oven cooks food than a traditional oven. I have cooked different meals in this convection oven and I am really pleased with how moist,tender and brown they have turned out. Another great thing about this convection oven is it's a bit more energy efficient than a regular oven. This KitchenAid convection oven is one of my favorite appliances in my kitchen and most used. I am really impressed by the looks and finish of this product. This is my second kitchen aid product in my kitchen that I am very proud to display on my countertop. The chrome and glass exterior is very shiny and sleek. The preset settings and chrome dial makes it very intuitive to use. The internal temperature probe and interior light makes it a unique product than what I am used to for a countertop oven. My baking experience has changed significantly since this product.
