Did my research on French presses, this one I just got, it's my second French press and it's great however.. NOT 5 cups.. Granted I put it in a lager coffee cup that normally holds two cups and that's all I got ladies and gents.. It's about a two cupper, perfect for me because I like my coffee strong and any more then two cups in shaking. The outside stays cool, coffee is hot and there was no left over beans in my cup!

I was planning on getting a glass press until I read many reviews complaining about cheap thin glass and breakage. Got this a few days earlier than I was expecting and I'm very happy with my decision. This is my first coffee press and the coffee it makes is good and with no grounds in my cup. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is because I don't give 5 stars.

Nice product but not the size stated. It does the job and I don't have to worry about breaking yet another glass model. I should have ordered the "32 oz" size, but I am far from disappointed by this one.

Love it and have the 1 liter version as well. Only observation which works fine for me is this is NOT 5 cups. I measured it out and filled up to the pour spout is about 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 cups max and that will be making a mess. Works perfect though for a larger cup of coffee for one, or two smaller cups. Other than that I loved it enough to buy two sizes.

It's the perfect size for 1 to 2 people. And after having 2 glass ones that broke in the past, I'm excited about finding this stainless steel version.

After breaking about my 10th glass french press, I purchased this. Wow. GREAT product. Unbreakable, and it's even double walled so coffee stays hot for much longer. Actually gave one to my US Army Cptn. son, and he deployed with his to Afghanistan. If I could give it more stars, I would.

Really nice and cute looking. Well insulated and well made. Much smaller than I realized. It's about enough for 2 scant cups of coffee. Wish it were larger.
