I have never had anything air fried. I figured it was more of a gimmick than a true feature. Tho I have not tried to make French fries yet, I did reheat some fries and chicken in the air fryer. I couldn't believe how well it heated up, and crispy like it was freshly cooked. I made BBQ ribs today. First I pressure cooked the ribs in foil for 20 mins. When cooked I put bbq sauce on the ribs then put them in the air fryer for 12 mins. I love when the ribs fall off the bone and the sauce gets all gooey and carmalized. I'm still learning how to use it. But each time I make something I learn something new. The foodi along with all the accessories and extended warranties got quite pricey. I ended up with 3 warranties and paid extra for 2 of them. I paid for a 3 year warranty with the accessories and I paid again for the lifetime warranty. I wish it would have been a bit more affordable. I still love it and highly recommend it.

I received as a gift for Mother's Day! We are a family of 6 adults and the Foodi XL Deluxe is perfect for my family! I'm a chef by trade as well, and I couldn't recommend this product more!!! Totally impressed with the pressure cooker and tender crisp (air fryer) functions. I've made so many things this week which totally made my family love it as well!

My friends have been raving about their InstaPots and Ninja Foodi cookers for a while but I was hesitant to buy one. When I made the decision to buy one, I posed the question of which one to get on FaceBook. I got a lot of posts for both BUT 2 people said they HAD an InstaPot and switched to a Ninja Foodi and were so happy. So I went with the Foodi. I AM SO HAPPY!!! I have made so many amazing dishes already and in a fraction of the time. One of my favorite family recipes is for Panko-Parmesan Chicken. In the oven, it always was a bit soggy on the bottom. I tried it in the fryer basket and not only was it crispy all the way around, it took HALF the time to cook!!! I am a huge fan of my Ninja Foodi!

Thus far, I have loved this machine. I have made several meals using different settings and they have all turned out great allowing me to get meals done faster and easier. Being able to start a recipe on Slow cook, switch to saut? and finish on air crisp is a mind blow! This is just an example, slow cooked a Corned Beef Roast over night, air crisped it to finish. Took roast out to cut up and switched to saut? for diced onions, potatoes and corned beef and finished up on air crisp...family said it was the best corned beef hash they have ever had! It was the easiest clean up for a meal ever!

I started w/ an I pot. It's the most used small appliance I own. I bought the Ninja to have the 8 qt. I wasn't really sure what the air frier was. Super cool. I can take a whole frozen chicken pressure cook for 45 min. then use the air frier for 15 min. I got a lovely browned chicken looked and tasted like a rotisserie chicken. I've also used the yogurt and dehydrator. I use my Ninja foodi almost daily.

First I have to say when I took it out of the box I was so disappointed. Let me explain how a negative turned POSITIVE. I was disappointed the air fryer lid did not come off. Then I decided to give it a try anyway. Turns out to be a big positive when cooking. Lets say you are air frying some tater tots or French fries. Half way through you want to stir them. With this unit you just lift the top, unit pauses, you stir, and close. It automatically continues on. If you had a removable lid you would have to take it off each time, not practical or easy. We have used our Foodi more than any other appliance. Highly Recommended!

I have bee on the fence on purchasing an Instant Pot but also wanted an Air Fryer and a dehydrator. The last thing I needed was a bunch of appliances that I have to store. Someone told me about this and I was interested. Not only did I get rid of my slow cooker and rice cooker but save the trouble of having to buy all three (instant pot, dehydrator and air fryer. I have used this more times in the few weeks that I have had it and still keep finding new recipes to try. I have made sweet potato dog treats, dried banana and strawberry chips for me, sweet potato chips, teriyaki chicken and broccoli with mashed sweet potatoes and even roasted butternut squash soup. The most perfect bacon you have ever seen, without a mess or hassle in less than 10 minutes! Everything cleans easily and is self contained. I can prepare things and cook them at night if they take a long amount of time such as dehydrated foods. I can't wait to start making jerky!! I love this machine!

Purchased as a Christmas gift. This unit is the FD402 and it is an excellent tool for any kitchen. I first used it to make some beef jerky and it came out perfect. I cooked a 7 pound chicken in it, and it was juicy, done, and as described by the instructions, in 35 minutes, this will save me a lot of time in the kitchen. Thanks Ninja!

Loving my Ninja Foodi 8 qt. 9 in 1 Deluxe XL - I chose the black stainless steel. It shipped fast, packaging is great the product was secure in the box and was easy to unbox. The Ninja Foodi Deluxe came with a reversible rack perfect for steaks, chicken or veggies. Also comes with two heat resistant black oven mitts and with a recipe book and cooking chart that displays time and temperature to cook. Easy to use, easy to clean and highly recommend. I appreciate it's a 9 in 1 versatile product. No need for so many extra machines when you have this machine. I have a small kitchen and don't have a lot of kitchen space to spare. This machine is just the right size for my counter – not small but not bulky, has easy to hold handles. To start I decided to cook French Fries which usually takes 30-45 minutes traditionally in the oven at 375. We read the chart said to place the temperature at 360 for 20 minutes. The air fryer rack was about half full of French fries and cooked them all evenly to perfection. We decided to try to cook some onion rings to pair with our burgers and fries. I placed temperature at 360 again but cooked the onion rings for 15 minutes rather than 20 minutes like the French fries. I noticed they cooked well and evenly however I feel like we should have only cooked them for 12 minutes. A few of the onion rings had fused together and started to get a little crunchier than we prefer. I have to say we were a bit surprised that the Ninja Foodi was so quiet – hardly even heard it run. The outside of base did get a bit warm, the handles and lid stayed cool to the touch. We were so surprised how fast the product cools down after use. Again, clean up was a breeze. The next day, I decided to try to make my family's favorite meal – Beef Stroganoff. I couldn't believe how fast it cooked and better yet all in one pan. I put it on pressure cooking for about 15 minutes and dinner was done. Again, clean up was a breeze. I highly recommend this product. It sure is a life changer. The Ninja Foodi Deluxe pressure cooker makes amazing tasting food and is so easy to use. It comes with a great illustrated manual that really helps if you've never used a pressure cooker before. The included recipe book is also very helpful. It contains 50 step by step recipes that help you learn the functions of the Foodi easily. The accessories it comes with are a deluxe resersible rack which is used to cook two different foods at the same time and a cook and crisp basket which is used to bake/air fry and silicone mits. It has two different lids that it comes with too. One lid is for the pressure cooker and the other attached lid is to air crisp. This big 8 quart pressure cooker can cook a lot of food at once. Since it is a larger pressure cooker it is somewhat heavier but that's to be expected. It has two handles on each side that helps you move the Foodi when not in use. It has a bright, user friendly screen that is simple to operate. It lets you chose the temperature, time and the function you want. This 9 in 1 pressure cooker can really do it all! It can sauté, steam, slow cook, pressure cook, air crisp, bake, broil, dehydrate and make yogurt. Following the recipes that are in the recipe book make pressure cooking in the Foodi simple. You just add your ingredients, set the time, set the temperature and you're done! It comes up to pressure pretty quick! When I made a whole chicken really took less than an hour to do. After my chicken was cooked through I was able to air fry in the same pot so it has crispy skin. The chicken was delicous! It was juicy and tender inside but had a crispy outside. The removable cooking pot is non stick so clean up was very easy. Anything that was stuck on I hand washed and came off right away. You can also put the cooking pot and the other accessories in the dishwasher too. I really like how versitile the Foodi is and how it makes cooking so much easier!
