The first couple times using it was okay; not compelplety even but not terrible. Of course after I had thrown out the box it came with in the trash and stopped using it for a little while, i used it again a little while later and ever sense part of the waffle is always black burnt and the other part is either hardly toasted or soggy. Would not reccomend at all!!!

Our office moved from a one floor office space to two floors so we needed a second toaster. I read the reviews and knew the brand well. The toaster gets a lot of use due to being at an office, and it performs very well! I bought one for my wife for Christmas due to the how well it works here at the office.

I am very pleased with this 4 slice toaster. It consistently produces evenly toasted bread, which is wonderful. The Oster is also nice and clean looking with the stainless steel exterior.
I'm especially impressed with the frozen option for waffles/frozen bread. It really works to thaw the bread and toast it as opposed to burning it on the outside while leaving it frozen inside.
Finally, a nice added feature is the warm button which is nice when I just want to warm my bread enough to easily spread on butter without making my bread crisp!

We went from having a 2 spot toaster to having a 4 spot toster and it makes cooking so much easier and less stressful! For a family I would highly recommend this toaster it's sleek looking with the stainless steel and black look but also has so many different options like to toast, bagel, frozen or warm! My Oster 4-Slice Side by Side Stainless Steel Toaster makes the perfect piece of toast every time. The easy to follow directions help to get you started. Each bread slot has its own set of four buttons to choose from. You can choose "Toast", "Bagel", or even press the "Frozen" button if you need to defrost an item. If you just need to reheat something, the toaster even has a "Warm" button. I like that the buttons light up blue when pressed so you can easily see which has been selected. Along with the choice of buttons there is a dial for each bread slot allowing you to adjust how dark or light you would like your food item that is being prepared. If you wish to start over or have made a mistake you can press the "Cancel" button and the toaster will shut off and pop up your item immediately. I love that cleaning this toaster is so easy. Simply unplug the toaster from the outlet and wipe the outside clean with a damp cloth. The toaster also has two crumb trays located in the back of the toaster that can easily be pulled out and cleaned. If you are looking for a stylish toaster that can match any decor as well as one that does a great job at making the perfect toast, I highly recommend this Stainless Steel 4-Slice Side by Side Toaster by Oster. I have only ever bought four slice toasters because of the convenience and time saving factor, every second counts when you're trying to get the whole family out to work and school in the mornings! I like that this one operates as two separate toasters as most mornings I am toasting two completely different things between bagels, waffles, toast, French toast sticks, and pop tarts. This toaster is powerful! I attached some pictures showing how the bread came out on each setting 2-4, over that and you would have burnt toast. I think the frozen waffles were best on 4-5 and the frozen setting. Warm was great for pop tarts, toaster strudels, French toast sticks, or anything that burns easily. Bagel setting on a 2-4 works well and the extra large openings fit even the thicker bagels. I also appreciated the toaster's small frame so it doesn't crowd my countertop. Really nice toaster with wide slots, stylish look and convenient drawer to clean out crumbs. Also has several settings to get your toast just the way you like it. Toasting bread is especially great. Notes: 1. With bagels, you may want to pop the bagel up and flip it around midway through cooking. With the attached photo, bagel was toasted on level three. Most of the bagel toasted great, but the part closest to the top of the toaster didn't brown as evenly. 2. The instructions recommend running one cycle before cooking food to get rid of new appliance electrical smell. We did two cycles, and the food was fine on the third cycle. The smell was pretty strong on the first two cycles with no food, so definitely recommend doing this before cooking food in it. Overall, really like this toaster though!
