I received this as a gift and was very excited to use it. I used it twice and it was great went to use it yesterday and nothing. It won't turn on. Just stopped working. Very disappointed! I have only had it for a week.

I bought the 3.3 qt. XL Air Fryer thinking it would be ample large enough for my husband and I. I was disappointed that there was very minimal information and no recipes to make in our new fryer. I thought surely I must have missed a little recipe guide in the packaging or something, but, alas, there was none to be found..that was a real bummer and feel the Manufacturer really dropped the ball on us customers there. So, I have purchased several air fryer cookbooks and looked on line for recipes. Bad thing about that, a lot of the recipes mention using these different "accessories" that I didn't even see even one mention of using or purchasing additional accessories in the instruction manual. I'm thinking I needed to purchase a larger size for the versatility I am seeing in some of these cookbooks.
I made breaded chicken breasts the first day and they turned out amazing, they cooked all the way through, crispy on the outside, moist and juicy inside. So, the Air Fryer does get a 2 thumbs up from us.

I was very excited to receive my air fryer. I was not quite sure what to expect however I am pleasantly surprised. I was very unsure how to use it, however the manual is very easy to follow. I like that there are not a lot of buttons or anything to figure out, it gets straight to the point and is very easy to use. The cooking compartment is large and I can fit a lot of food inside. I have noticed that I have cooked more side dishes in the air fryer than main dishes. I really like this product for healthier french fries and apple chips. The best part is that it requires very little oil and yet you still get the satisfying fried food that you want. My only complaint is that I can't see inside while it's cooking, I have to open it to see inside. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Absolute buy. Overall product use cooks fried foods as advertised less oil. Food comes out crispy as if it were traditionally fried. Air fryer was also good for oven products like mozzarella cheese sticks, pizza, as well as other oven type food, and great to reheat food and as well. Cooks fried foods thorough, crispy and timely. Non stick basket was very easy to clean and the two button use and timer makes it easy for anyone to use. Only recommendation I would have preferred for a recipe book of some sort to be included. It fits nicely on the counter and has a convenient area to hide the electric cord. It is very easy to use as there are only two features: temperature setting and timer. Basket is easy to pull out if you need to shake up the fries or wings or flip your burger while cooking. I made freshly cut fries, chicken wings and burgers. All cooked fast but I think smaller batches are easier and faster to cook. Clean up is a breeze. Grease drips to the bottom bucket and it separates from the basket for an easier clean. Both the bucket and the basket are non stick. Very convenient and quick if you just want to make a dozen chicken wings or some French fries. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The Oster Air fryer has turned out to be one of my favorite cooking tools. The reason why I say this is because it's so much faster than using the oven. I have to say after trial and error I've made some of the juiciest Angus burgers perfect. There's a pamphlet that comes in the box that consist of cooking suggestions and the proper way to clean it. Its large enuff to cook dinner for one or two, all in one pot. Over all it's a very convenient and healthier way to cook. It's a little bulkier than I like since I have very limited counter space. I was excited to receive this Oster Air Fryer because I've heard good things about them. I had never used an air fryer before so I was a little nervous that it would be complicated to figure out. This air fryer was SO simple. Straight out of the box I was able to make French fries from sliced potatoes and just a little oil. The French fries cooked in less than 20 minutes and were deliciously crispy outside and fluffy inside. Cooking up bacon in the air fryer was a snap, it came out delicious and crispy. The only thing that I didn't particularly like was that the air fryer did have a plastic smell to it for a few days after opening and even using it. The smell has finally dissipated, but it did take some time. Overall, I like this air fryer and look forward to continuing to use it. The concept of this air fryer is pretty good, as it does reduce the amount of oil for cooking these types of foods. However, it is just too small to cook anything of use for a family of six. Additionally, since most types of food that I purchased for use with an air fryer do not come with air fryer instructions on the package, it is hard to compute times and I have burned several things. The documentation that comes with this air fryer is not sufficient for learning how to use this item. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
