I looked around for about a month and finally decided on the contempo 8oz. Popped our first batch and it was amazing. Only 5 old maids the first time and was really easy to clean. After reading a bunch of reviews, we learned that you let the kettle heat up for 6 minutes. Then add the oil and let it heat up for 45 seconds to a minute. Then add the seasonings and the popcorn kernels. We bought the great northern all-in-one premium tri-pac. The only difficult thing was actually loading in the oil, I got burned once on the kettle. Now that I did, it it won't happen again. I would definitely recommend this. Happy popping!
