I bought this to replace an identical GE profile microwave due to a kitchen remodel. It works great. My negative impressions are the inside is painted too dark a color to adequately see inside. The control panel is too dark and there is not enough color contrast with the buttons to see in low light.

I love most features of the microwave. The first thing I dislike is the loudness of the closing of the door - which I believe is needed to ensure safety, to make sure it closes properly. The second thing I dislike is the small print, and no symbols, on all of the buttons, especially the Start button. With older age, sight is the first to go. And, no symbols on the buttons makes it tougher to read the text only buttons. See attached pictures for comparison. The symbols really make the difference! Besides that, I really like this appliance. It's quiet compared to the competition. It's powerful! And, it features Express Buttons!

And she did, including the trim kit, I needed the help of my 77 year old husband of 50 years but together we managed to get it assembled and installed. It was easy!!!

Replaced a similar GE microwave same capacity and features with this one as part of my kitchen appliance upgrade. The original 15yr old one was better in functioning. The button is a hard press to open the door. The door makes cracking noises as if too much tension when opening. The menu panel us not easy to read; writing needs to be bold and larger. Roomy interior and fairly quiet. Love the look.

I am happy with this microwave, however, the cost was a bit much. I purchased basically the same one 16 years ago and it just went out so I know this unit quite well. I did change colors and other than a few changes in the button arrangement it is still the same unit. We use the microwave quite a bit and it has been working just fine. It is a bit quieter than the old unit as well. I would certainly recommend this unit.

Chose this product to match other appliances. There is quite a learning curve that I still haven't mastered. Product is quite powerful and takes some getting used to. Closing the door has it's own set of issues.

This unit is huge! Contractor had problems fitting into cabinet. No trim kit available so contractor installed trim to finish off. Face plate controls are difficult to engage. unit doesn't always do what it's supposed to do? Might be pilot error, no book provided with oven?
