When I need to carry hot food to a church or family dinner, this is so much easier and there is no spilling in my car. Also, the food stays warm, even if not plugged in.

Bought this after breaking my 7 qt crockpot on the way to a potluck. I love how you can cook in this slow cooker and travel with it as well. Food stays warm on the way to your destination.

It is very lightweight and easy to carry with one hand. The lid locks tightly, so no spills. Once the lid is off, food stays hot for a long time. The crock pan does not hold 8 quarts. It held 6.75 quarts of water. The cord is retractable. Great product!

I used this yesterday for the first time to take soup for our family dinner. So easy to carry never had to worry about a spill and cleanup is a breeze because the inside pot comes out and the lid comes off for easy cleanup

Perfect!! Does need led light to see it's on and needs cut off for cooking, usually 4 hrs or 8 hrs.

total disappointment . It appeared very small for 8 quarts so I measured the capacity with water , it only holds 6.625 quarts of water. Not worth 69.95 . Started a return for it.

Everything. Large enough to cook a decent size roast. I liked how easy it traveled no spillage. I liked the handy utensil holder and the dry erase pen and board that you can write what is in the slow cooker. The handle makes it easier to carry. The Nomad is easy to clean.
