Generally pretty happy with the flexibility of this cooker. Most of the time we use it as a slow cooker and it does well. I think the baking pan is a little too shallow although it has a lot of capacity. I had problems getting an 8lb pork shoulder in. I like the non stick inner liner and the ability to change the cooking temperature. Not exactly economical to purchase but it is a lot better than the last one we had which was a well known brand and was supposed to have three temperature settings which turned out to be Hot, Very Hot and Halfway to H***.

This is our 3rd Cuisinart. Within the past 6 months we also purchased the Cuisinart toaster as well as your coffee machine. Completely satisfied with all of them. Thank you for such great products...

So excited to get a higher quality slow cooker only to be disappointed by the coating in the cooker - Only used a few times, always with rubber spatulas or tephlon spoons, the bottom is already scraped and coming off. I would NOT recommend spending this much money for such poor quality. I expected way more from Cusinart - Wish I had my money back!

Cooks evenly and easy to set but disappointed that after the first use some of the coating inside came off even though washed with hot soapy water and a soft cloth.

Excellent instruction book. Easy to program. Steams, browns and slow cooks. Brown the meat and go right to slow cook for an awesome chili waiting for you when you get home. All in one pot. Electric cord length is long enough to reach outlet. Outer unit gets warm but not hot. Felt comfortable leaving on counter with no fire hazard. Vents in back and legs are cool to touch. 6 quarts is enough room to stir and family of 5 all enjoyed the dinners.

Didn't really want to spent the amount for the slow cooker, but I think it's Great. I feel confident in the purchase because of the many good reviews. I need to feel confident when I leave the cooker on and need to make an errand and I won't come back home and its on fire. Love the feature of browning, then switching over to slow cooker. Trying to build a culinary kitchen and it's a good addition. I'm getting ready for the holidays cooking which I love to do to feed many people.

Super excited about this cooker. It was a little smaller than I expected but I can make it work. I love the non-stick interior and the fact that I can brown and sautee right in the crock will save me so much time and mess. I look forward to many delicious meals in this multicooker!

I looked around for awhile before deciding on the Cuisinart crock pot. My old one that I hadn't owned very long cracked on the bottom so I needed a new one. I used to be a bridal consultant for M****'s and after All clad which is made in the USA Cuisinart is a good reliable brand. I love that this crock pot can sauté before slow cooking so there is only one pan to clean up. It also steams which is a nice feature as well. So far I have only steamed artichokes and they turned out great. Another thing I really like is the pot itself is light weight and easy to hand wash but can also go in the dishwasher as opposed to the heavy ceramic pots. I am going to use the slow cooker this summer so I can just throw in some ingredients in the morning, have fun with my boys all day and have dinner ready at night without turning the stove on. This crock pot was quite pricey everywhere I looked but found it at Walmart for a great price with free shipping! (BTW this is my 1st review ever, had to leave my two cents since this is turning out to be a great product)

I love this slow cooker. So many recipes call for browning the meat first which means using another pan and messing up the stove etc. Now I can brown the meat, add ingredients and cook all in one big pot. It is very easy to use and the clean up is a snap.
