This was fine for a moment, then it broke and started leaking. Had it less than a year. Had to throw out the base, but kept the carafe.

Not one of the best I ever bought. I wanted white, so I got that, but there is no way to tell how much water you filled in, there's only a max. marker INSIDE of the water tank. The spout is awkward to move, the basket is awkward to put in, the carafe drips when pouring but the lid fits well, thus 2 stars. Mainstays' white coffee maker is even cheaper and much better. Coffee tastes better too.

HAVE OWNED IT FOR 6 YEARS NOW. HAS NEVER FAILED TO DELIVER A GOOD TASTING POT QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. CAN BE DISASSEMBLED COMPLETELY FOR CLEANING WITH A COUPLE OF MINOR MODIFICATIONS. ONLY NEGATIVE WOULD BE THAT THE WARMER PLATE RUSTED UP WITHIN A COUPLE OF YEARS. DIDN'T AFFECT IT'S PERFORMANCE JUST LOOKS KINDA FUNKY.

The first time water was poured into the reservoir it started leaking as soon as 2 cups of water was in. The leak occurred by the heating element.

This is a good, basic coffeemaker! I like that it is small and takes it less room on my counter, yet is still has a 10 cup capacity. And I really like that it has a positive on/off switch. This way I can plug it into a programmable timer and set it to have multiple on/off times, thereby giving me even more convenience than I can get from a programmable coffeemaker costing much more. It makes a very good cup of coffee and keeps it at the correct serving temperature for me. In fact, I like it so much that this one was purchased as a backup, in case the one I already haves dies, or the glass pot breaks. At the price I paid, buying a whole other coffeemaker was cheaper than just ordering a replacement pot for backup. When given the choice, I'll always chose simplicity in an appliance over new technology. There's less to go wrong. And this coffeemaker is a winner!

Finally!! I've found a coffee maker small enough to fit under my cabinet but has the capacity to to make a full pot of coffee. Can't beat the price

First time I used it coffee ground sediment was blast by the steam over the coffee filter. through experimenting I found that you should use less coffee grounds then recommended ( use 6 tablespoons for 9 cups of water) which makes a good cup of coffee. Otherwise it seems to be a very good buy at the clearance price.
