The cord is way too short. I wouldn't recommend this unless you have electric plugs conveniently placed every foot in your kitchen. Also, the exterior of the toaster oven becomes very hot when in use. We were replacing a Proctor Silex toaster oven that we had been very happy with for a number of years. The new one is like a toy in comparison.
