I love this grill. I have used it for several things. Burgers, Chicken, Fish Steak and grilled cheese sandwiches. All turned out well and only took a few min.

Let me start by saying I'm a reasonable man. I bought this grill because it was cheap and was perfect for my man-cave, along with my mini-fridge and microwave I also bought from walmart.com. I expected it to last longer than a month, but not much longer. Let's face it: for ten bucks, it really pays for itself in no time. That being said, I've bought 4 of them since January and just ordered 2 more today, minutes ago, because the one I was using just died. I generally keep a backup of things around just in case. It comes with a one year warranty, but I use this thing all the time, and for 10 bucks, it's not worth the hassle. It works great while it works, but it gives you no warning when it's going to die. You plug it in to use it, and it never comes on. It's that simple. I'm not complaining; I'm just being honest. I'll continue to buy these grills because they work great and they're cheap and easy to replace. Nothing lasts forever, and at ten bucks, you get your moneys worth in no time. If I want to grill a steak while watching the game, it doesn't even take ten minutes. I use it for steak, chicken, burgers and a variety of other things, so I have no problem recommending it to other people. I just want to let them know that they should have realistic expectations going in, and I only wish someone had given me this heads up. It's worth 10 bucks every month or so to replace it. If you get it and don't like it, or it doesn't last very long, just remember it was ten bucks. That's like two drinks at a bar (maybe. I don't know. I quit drinking years ago) and it'll definitely last longer than the drinks would.

This grill worked beautifully for me, 3 days a week, for about 1 1/2 years. It just stopped today. I liked that I could actually fit 2 pre-made burgers on the grill, or 1 large chicken breast, or two thin pork or beef chops. The top is too heavy to make grilled sandwiches. I would make a tent over my burgers and leave the top open to melt cheese. For $10 I will buy another one and hope it lasts the same length of time. I noted that there were several reviews where it did not last 3 months. I am willing to take the chance.

I received this as a gift & was very excited about it. I used it maybe 6 or 8 times in 3 months. The only complaint I had was that it was hard to clean, as the grill plates weren't removable. Otherwise, I was very happy, until yesterday, when it suddenly quit working, with no warning, after only cooking my 2 Italian sausages less than half way. Now I'm going to buy myself another grill, because I'd go nuts without one, but I can promise you it will NOT be a Proctor Silex!

We have had this little grill for about 5 months and we use it way more than I expected. It works great, heats up quickly and is a great alternative to using the stove. We use it to cook chicken, burgers, and hot dogs most frequently and it has been really reliable. Overall it was extremely affordable for such a great addition to our kitchen.

Pro: Worked really good for 3 weeks. I probably grilled/cooked with it about 5-7 different times and I was in love with it. I was cooking chicken, hot links, veggies, etc and it cooked them all well. Cons: It stopped working. I went to plug it in yesterday, and it didn't power on. Returned it and bought a George Foreman grill instead. Not worth buy cheaper stuff. You'll just end up returning it.

My previous GF grill had an odd square shape with guards at the dripping end that only allowed 1 burger at a time, you could not fit 2 burgers side by side. This grill has more width and fits 2 burgers perfectly in one batch!
