good microwave. when you enter a number like 1 it gives you time in case you want to program at 1:30. my old microwave started immediately and i could never program 1:30 on it. Plenty of cooking options, easy to read numbers.

I like my microwave okay except when I bought it, I thought it was 1100 watts and after several months of use, I realized it's only 1000. I should have read about it much more than I did. And the gizmo the revolving plate sets on is not always where it's supposed to be. That gets a little frustrating.

Love this microwave. I don't think I will ever want to get a different one. True to time when using buttons to cook and heat up foods.

So far the microwave has worked as we expected. When it arrived, it had a very thin coating of plastic coating the microwave. This coating had to be removed prior to use. It took almost an hour to remove the plastic. There is really no starting point. Its like pick somewhere and start scratching.

I started off with the 0.9 version of this Stainless Carosel model. After 4 months it started completely shutting itself off everytime i used it more then about 4 minutes. Boil water shut off, cook a potatoe shut off etc etc each time it would reset after awhile. It also made a ton of noise weird vibration sounds etc Also everything i cooked the door window steamed up so bad i couldnt even see through it. Even the simple things like a corndog were hard to see. Contacted Sharp

Microwave light does not come on when door is open! Really? How do you check your food in the dark? Bad design and not enoug power. Takes twice as long to heat.

This is a pretty oven. I'd been looking for a stainless steel microwave that was silver /stainless all over....not with the sides and top black..... and this is it. So far it is working beautifully. I've only had it a month or so. The only reason for the 4 stars is because the light doesn't come on when you open the door.

I have owned a Sharp microwave for many years. Recently needed a new one for a second home and decided on this smaller one to fit ina small space. Works well, haven't missed the sensor cooking feature that my old one has. I bought this from Walmart on line, it was delivered earlier than the expected date. Sharp still makes an excellent product!

The size is 20.3 x 12.0 x 14.9. That means it is 12 inches Tall in Height and 14.9 inches Deep and 20.3 inches wide across the front. My previous, very large, rather expensive, 1300 watt Sharp microwave went on the blink after a tad over three years. It was a very great microwave but I never used all the features, never actually cooked in it, and was saddened that a $500+ microwave didn't last longer. I do like the Sharp brand microwaves and with all that said, it did last a good while (longer than most) so I decided to go with Sharp again. I wanted a microwave that was not so big and not so expensive. All I use a microwave is for heating a cup of coffee, heating frozen dinners that only need 5 to 10 minutes heat time, reheating left overs that only take a minute or two. Also, my other Sharp was so large that it stuck out from the area and this time I wanted one that fit back into the shelving area. My kitchen has brushed stainless steel appliances and I wanted a stainless microwave to match. This Sharp microwave at only 1000 watts does what I need it to do. YES, it does NOT heat as fast as a 1300 watt. I did some tests as soon as I plugged it up. The settings are extremely easy. The clock takes only a few seconds to set....press 'clock' press in the time, press 'clock' and that is it. I placed a cup of cold faucet water and pressed the '1' for one minute. It came close to boiling and was extremely hot. My second test was a 'Marie C' one compartment tv dinner. It was totally hot and done in 6 minutes. The stainless steel is not brushed, it is mirrored and looks very nice, matches well enough with my other appliances. It comes with an instruction booklet and quick set up sheet. The door opens by pushing in at the lower right. There is a light inside while in use. It has a durable glass turntable and rotates. It has ten power selections. It has vents on the left side and the back has vent holes. Since it is stainless, if you let it run a lot of minutes at a time, the outside sides will get very warm. You can hear it running when in use but it is not what I would call loud. It beeps about three times when the heating cycle is complete. It does have a Safety interlock system. It has a kitchen timer, defrost, one touch cook, and more. I like the Express Cook that is numbers 1 thru 6 and just press the number to get that number of minutes. I tried to upload an image but for some unknown reason to me, I get the 'Time limit exceeded, unable to upload' error message so sorry cannot post photo.
