I hadn't had this microwave a month and the light went out on the inside which is not replaceable by the owner nor covered by the warranty. My return option expired 1 day ago. Bad for me for procrastinating about return options. The microwave works fine otherwise, but had to give it only 2 stars because the bulb not even a month. The only reason I wasn't really aware that it wasn't working was because my old one had the same issue for at least 2 yrs before it completely died.

Didn't quite meet my expectations, delivery was fast and microwave very nice in appearance. Unboxed an placed on the shelf in my kitchen. Plugged in and set the clock, great. Oops door will not open, checked to make sure all the packing was removed, door had opened twice before installing on shelf but button is stuck in the depressed position and door will not open. Very disappoint in a sharp product, had good luck with prior sharp purchases.

The last microwave that we had was a Sharp and I honestly don't know how long we had it. At least 15 years. So we bought another one. I was afraid there would be too many changes, but I really love that some of my favorite features are on this model. I like the potato button that you only push once to get great baked potatoes. I like the 30 second button, and the power is great also.

One thing to note is the beeper and volume are VERY loud on this. I've never had a microwave be this loud. And Sharp tells me there isn't any volume control on this model. Had I known this I would have bought a different one with a volume control/mute.

Our old Sharp microwave lasted for 18 years. When it stopped, we replaced it with a Hamilton Beach mid-sized model. Well, no one liked it. It heated unevenly, was loud, and everyone said they missed the old one. So I bought this Sharp model online with store pickup, returned the Hamilton Beach one, and everyone is happy. It's the perfect size for a big family. And is a lot roomier than it looks from the outside. Very happy with the exchange and upgrade to Sharp.

I like the size of this oven and the loud tone when it finishes cooking or when using the kitchen timer but am terribly disappointed in the power button. It has to be pushed, no sound, then push start, then you are supposed to push the time but it starts before you can do that. Our other microwaves always let you hit power, then the minutes then start. I have read the manual, which could be more informative, and am doing what it says but it doesn't work. Very disappointed in that.

I've purchased sharp microwaves since the 90's. Never a problem. this is the biggest so far & I got it at an awesome price

I am well pleased with this product. We had a Sharp Microwave before that lasted us years. This one is like that except it has a much bigger turn table . It is much quieter than the Hamilton Beach that we just got rid of. I would recommend this to anyone. Great Microwave.

Works as described, heats food evenly and thoroughly fairly quick,light stays on when door is open for easy cleaning.I can't give it 5 stars after only having it for a week.I did buy the extended warranty just in case as there were no reviews for this microwave.I do believe it is a 2017 model.
