Fill it, pack it, then bust it out on the road to adventure. Use it as a ice bucket or load ‘er up with soup, pasta salad, BBQ or whatever you need to keep piping hot or crisp and cold. This one-handed party pleaser (much like your buddy Randy from high school) is ready to amp things up on your next big trip.

Manufactured using 18/8 stainless steel material, where lids are made from BPA Free plastic, it also comes with a durable grip handle which makes it easy and convenient to carry and serve food. The double wall vacuum insulation and air-tight locking lid keeps food, soup, or chili piping-hot for 12 hours but can also keep contents ice-cold for up to 16 hours Materials are BPA-free to ensure food safety. With 3 quarts of space, this container can store enough food to bring lunch for everyone The handle on the lid makes it easy to carry even when filled A wide mouth opening makes it easy to clean, fill, scoop and serve. When locked down by the lid's latches, the inner silicone gasket makes an air tight seal The hook on the bottom of the lid allows it to hang on the side of the crock while serving.

Is the interior of the lid plastic or stainless?

Inside and exterior, the lid is made of plastic. has an inside silicone gasket and a hook for suspending the lid from the crock's rim.

Will food stay warm if it's just partially filled, or does it need to be entirely filled to maintain heat?

It can be used with some liquid in it. It just won't work as well. A partial fill will be fine for 4 to 5 hours, possibly longer depending on the contents. Remember to seal it for 10 to 15 minutes after adding hot (boiling) water to preheat it. Make sure the food is really hot, preferably hotter than serving temperature. Foods with more water will maintain their heat better. For instance, if I put, say, six tiny grilled pork chops in it and it's only halfway full, I'll add some hot broth to keep it warm.

how large is it? Please provide this information in litter.

2.84 litter.

Use it as ice bucket, to carry stew or soup to friends house, keeps things cold and hot really well. Love the latch instead of screwing the top.

I got this so my husband can take hot items (or cold) to church potlucks. Think it will be great for beach afternoons and evenings, too!

My father is 98 years old. He has no teeth. I make him one of his favorite meals each week, or something I know he will like (and be able to chew) and drop a crock full over to him for lunch or dinner. I have 2 of these crocks & this allows me to leave one with plenty of leftovers for him to enjoy over the week. When I come back over with the next hot meal, he is so proud to have finished his crock and cleaned it up for me to take home and refill. These are not his only meals of course, but gives us time together and I can share both of our favorite recipes. We missed quite a few of these meals together lately to social distancing. Without these crocks, it would be much more difficult to share time with each other.

Took this little gem filled with chili to go cut Christmas trees with the family. Fantastic! Loaded it up at 4:30 a.m. and got to it around 11:00 which really isn't anywhere near as long as they say items will stay hot.... it was almost like I just put it in there. Matter of fact I burnt myself on the chili it was that hot! So very pleasantly surprised! So happy, can't wait to test out the opposite factor. Love that it should keep things cold for up to 16 hours! We will test it with ice cream... next Summer! Great product!

I bought this and put ice in it 48 hours ago, with the lid just resting on the top one day, sealed the next. It still has ice in it! I only wanted an ice bucket. Couldn't find one even close to being this nice and they were all wanting the same money. Good job on this one Stanley.

I was given this as a gift, within a week I managed to break the plastic hinge that holds the lid. I contacted Stanley customer service with a photo (I didn't even have a receipt since it was a gift) via email... hoping, but doubting that I can get a replacement part. Within the hour, I received an email informing me that they would be shipping a replacement. Wow, I'm a believer! As for the crock, I use it to make my yogurt, but I'm sure I will find plenty of other uses too.

We travel a bit on the motorcycle and feel guilty showing up at gatherings without a dish to pass. The 3qt crock works great! Cook the food then promptly put it into the crock and seal the lid. After a long days work or play the food is still hot and ready to eat. The crock fits nicely into my backpack. New product idea: Create a way to stack 2 crocks using an inner vacuum lid for the lower crock and the existing clasps to connect the crocks. Also include a backpack type option to contain the 2 stacked crocks and spoons. This will allow us to haul a main course and a dessert. I'll be happy to try it out and report back. Thanks for creating the Adventure Vacuum Crock 3qt.

Following my trip I was looking forward to a good hot meal. This morning I prepped my 3 qt Adventure Vacuum Crock with hot water and brought my soup to a boil before I put it in the Crock. There are 4 locking snaps that hold the lid in place. Once it is sealed it has a really sturdy feel in your hand. After 14 hrs the vacuum that had formed held the lid and it gave a good pop as I opened it. My soup had cooled off some but that is to be expected. It was still hot enough to not have to heat it up before I started eating. I also used it as an Ice bucket while staying at the hotel so that I didn't have to go to the ice machine a couple of times a day. Once again Stanley didn't let me down.

Preparing for an adventure you keep in mind how you will stay fueled. As the seasons have been changing, having warm food is always nice but you don't want to have to rely on a fire when winds kick up or have to bring a stove along. This crock fills the need for longevity or warmth and ease of use. We usually prepare a meal in the crock pot at home the night before and load it into this crock the morning of, get to our final destination and enjoy.
