It's good enough for my purposes, smoothies and the like. I find the softer plastic tends to break less. I've owned plenty of blenders and this one seems to be holding up.
My problem is when it comes to cleaning up. Once the bottle is locked for blending, it's near impossible to unlock it. I've tried to move it around and the base seems to be stuck in. I've tried drying off all the elements and twisting the bottle back on but it still didn't unlock.
I guess I'm going to have to keep looking for other models because I fear that food may start to seep between the elements if I cannot remove it to clean it.s
