As good as the Moccamaster looks on the outside—and we’ll get to that in a moment—I think it’s important to talk about what they’ve done on the inside, because that’s what makes good coffee.

One of the coolest features of this machine is the carafe itself. Not only does it have a double-wall thermal design, it also has a screw-on lid. This ensures that the coffee stays warm, and not on your guests’ clothes.

We received our Moccamaster coffee maker and love the coffee it brews. The temperature is great even at our altitude. It looks really sharp. However, the glass coffee carafe seems to have only half the handle (hand hold). It is not comfortable to hold, and we can see the screw that holds the handle assembly on the pot. This doesn’t seem the way it should be. It is an expensive coffeemaker, but this makes it seem cheap.

Don't even waste your time with any other coffee maker - this is it! Are you sick of terrible coffee at home? Want your coffee to taste like what you get at a real coffee shop? This is the ticket. That was really my only requirement. I wanted to be able to make GOOD coffee that tastes just like what I get a my local coffee shop - at home. This coffee maker makes that possible!
