I was not trying to be cheapI was trying to find a small coffee maker for the office. It seems like a toy. It is flimsy and does not perform well.

The only thing I do not like is that it does not have a 1 hour automatic turn off.

I needed a small coffee maker for the camper and this is what my wife chose for us. Overall it is a nice little coffee maker and does what it is designed to do. I would have preferred one with an automatic shut-off and it appears the warmer could keep the coffee in the pot a little warmer but with the pot as small as it is the coffee gets poured up pretty quickly. If it holds up for 3 or 4 years or more I'll be happy.

Really like this 5 cup pot. Simple to operate! I like the feature that shows the water level. Also like being able to get a cup before cycle is done. It is very compact
