One of the only sandwich presses out there with a flat plate. Heats up quickly and is easy to wipe clean. Doesn't take a lot of space on the counter or in a cupboard, which is nice. The weight of the lid will flatten or squash a single sandwich, but if you have two sandwiches in there at the same time it seems to be fine.

I previously tried several types of sandwich grills, none of them were what I was looking for. I am very pleased so far with my new one. It is fast, easy to clean, adapts to diferrent sandwich sizes, looks good. Walmart ships fast and no shipping charges is always a bonus.

This is a fantastic grill, it heats up fast and grills your sandwich quickly with the cheese melted to perfection. The price is very good and it doesn't take much space on the counter.
I am very happy that I purchased it, I had been looking for such a grill for a long time and I found it.

I looked everywhere for a simple, easy to use sandwich maker that was not too expensive, Not only was this maker reasonable in price, it looks nice and heats up extremely quickly. Makes the best grilled cheese ever.

Previously, I bought a inexpensive sandwhich maker that squished the sandwhich and it was only lightly toasted, plus it broke after a few uses (the hinge at the back broke). I bought this one and I'm very happy with this purchase, it doesn't squish the sandwhich and it toasts it much quicker, the hinges at the back adjust to the thickness of the sandwhich). I highly recommend this one over the other sandwhich makers.

Quality product. Excellent price point. Impressive performance.
Make everything the better way, from simple grilled cheese sandwiches to elaborate Philly cheese steak wraps or vegetable stuffed pitas, or just use up your leftovers to create culinary surprises.

I bought the toastess sandwich grill for my mother who has moved into a retirement home and doesn't have a stove. She uses it for making grilled cheese sandwiches, french toast,
and other kinds of grilled sandwiches. It's light weight, small, easy to use; and it's the only one that had a smooth surface - no grill lines.
