Used for about 4 months and the sauté stopped working. Called and they sent me a new one. 1 year, 3 months later, sauté stopped working. Out of warranty. Too expensive to replace every year.

Purchased from local retailer...sauté quit working after using it twice...get error codes constantly (mostly f4) and it quits in mid cycle when I do get it to work. Will pay to get a good pressure cooker because I was hooked before it quit working as expected.

I have had mine almost two years and it is still working great. Not sure what went on with the others and I am using mine today. I did not buy mine at Wal Mart, but at Uptown Grocers. I have only had one issue and that was closing the top. It seems to get stuck. I called the manufacturer's number and was given accurate advice on closing. Wish it had a cook book with it, but I have been able to adapt.

I loved this when it worked, but got tired of contacting the warranty dept to get parts and a replacemen appliance! They were really nice about it, but finally after 10 months its in the trash. Instructions for it were worthless. Get a real one, NOT THIS ONE. Hope the new model is better, but I will not be buying it, don't trust it after this headache.

For those of you with bad reviews listen up.... I bought this product about 1 year ago USED from a friend for $20 and have used it multiple times. Only once have I had a problem with it and that was not pressurizing but was able to figure out the problem and very easily correct it. I am sorry if you had a bad experience with yours but love mine and recomend it to all my friends.... I just made homemade chicken noodle soup in it tonight!

Instructions were super clear, the tables with cook temps and minimum settings is quite helpful. Not a fan of the minimum possible cook times (5 mins) but I can make it work. If you've never used a pressure cooker just google it, it'll save you headache if you're finding navigating the manual troublesome. We've used ours 3 times a week since Christmas.

I bought this last year right before Christmas at a local store. It is a great little cooker! I've made several turkey breasts in it and they are always juicy and cook it 1/4 of the time of the oven. Also, makes great pulled pork in very little time. It's a perfect size for a couple and not nearly as bulky as some others on the market.

My 3 siblings, my mom and I each got this as a Christmas gift. I use this about once a week. After 4 uses, the saute function went out and was not useable. Ok, not a big deal. I went to use it tonight and the item would not build the pressure needed. My sister used it a bit more than I did and hers went out after a month. my other siblings haven't used theirs yet. my mothers wouldn't work right out of the box.

This pot is supposed to do several things but the instructions only tell you how to use the pressure cooker! What an ignorant booklet. If I only wanted to use the pressure cooker, I would have bought just a pressure cooker.

Price was great and performance was great for a little while. As I mentioned before 1 works great the other works great on every setting except rice. Program issue I would assume, pretty disappointing. 61 year old chef of the house.

Never had a pressure cooker before, instructions were easy to follow and boy did it make a mean pot roast. It was far more tender than a similar roast I would’ve cooked 10+ hours in the crock pot, in an hour and a half. In fact I think next time I’ll cook less for a 3.5 lbs chuck roast with plenty of potatoes, carrots and onions. Can’t wait to use again.

I didn't get mine through Amazon but.....I love my electric pressure cooker. I have a traditional pressure cooker as well but I'm not comfortable using it. My toastmaster electric pressure cooker is divine though. I've cooked roasts, stews and when I finish this review I'll attempt lemon chicken. It's the perfect go to tool for people that like to eat clean/healthy that don't have lots of time. I recommend it 100%

DO NOT PURCHASE!! THIS WAS A XMAS GIFT. I WAS SO EXCITED TO START USING IT. IT'S A PIECE OF CRAP! DID NOT WORK FROM THE START. GOT A F1 CODE AND THAT WAS IT. NO INSTRUCTIONS CAME WITH IT ABOUT WHAT CODES MEAN. NO USEFUL INFORMATION ONLINE TO REFER TO. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. TOO BAD I THREW BOX AWAY OR THIS ITEM WOULD HAVE BEEN RETURNED FOR SURE.

After you do water test to know sounds etc....I picked it up on after Christmas Sale and and I have cooked almost every meal in it. I really really like it. I have seen the old ones blow up and I wasn’t too sure about this process but this little cooker is my friend.

I got this for Christmas and used it ONE TIME to make chicken and rice. I tried to use it today and it just beeps and turns off. And while I'm standing there, unplugging it, plugging it back in and poking at buttons, one by one each family member goes by and says, "What's wrong?" I reply, "It won't turn on," and they respond with ... "What do you mean it won't turn on?" What does, "IT WON'T TURN ON" mean in YOUR language? Go away from me now, before I hurt you all. I bought a pork tenderloin and ingredients specifically for a pressure cooker recipe and planned the sides according to the expected cook time of a functioning pressure cooker. Dinner was at least an hour later than planned due to having to scrap the pressure cooker plans and start over in the oven. What little information I can find online indicates that I'm not alone in experiencing frustration with this Toastmaster 6 quart pressure cooker. It came with ZERO information in the box. No instructions, no directions, not even guidelines for use. Considering it's "under pressure" and potentially dangerous in the hands of an inexperienced user of pressure cookers, this alone should have given me all the warning needed to just throw the thing away. But it was a Christmas gift and I liked the idea of it ... well, I liked the idea of it working. Now WTH am I supposed to do with it? It seems tacky to throw it away when someone just bought it for me but other reviews indicate that contacting customer service will just prolong the aggravation. DO NOT waste your time, money or counter space on this piece of crap. PS - I don't think this came from Amazon but this is the space available for me to complain about it, so here I am.

I cooked a turkey back and neck and made soup and it did a great job but not sure what I was doing because there was no instruction book enclosed. The lady said "read the instruction book" But it was not in there. How do I get the book?

Error codes within 4 times of using it. Complete junk! And good luck getting ahold of the actual company to replace it! Just go with name brand, less hassle.

I found this at a local store. Was budget friendly. Great little cooker. I've made beef pot roast, chicken and dumplings, soup beans and ribs multiple times over the past 6 months. It is my go to appliance. Good quality. No problems. Does as it describes.

The plastic cover was damaged slightly at the back and since the cooker hardly cook, it returned to no cook mode most time after was setted to a function.

I've already tried several dishes including meatballs, pot roast and chicken. All were given a thumbs up by my family. Rice almost seems to come out fluffier than conventional cooking. I tried a chocolate cake which tasted fantastic but was more like a brownie than a cake. The apple crisp recipe I found online was the number one hit. One of the biggest benefits for me is sauteing directly in the pot and then being able to add veggies, seasoning and a little liquid, then adding the lid to cook under pressure all in a single pot. I've realized I can spend a little less time in the kitchen during the week if I want. To clean, the removable inner pot can be thrown in the dishwasher. I don't have additional saute pans and bulky pots to clean. This pressure cooker is currently my go-to electric appliance. It is extremely versatile with the adjustable cooking time and pressure level - and safe too. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.
