It's okay. It's new and toasts well which I expected it to do but the sides also get hot as well as the top (my old one didn't do that). I bought it because it was really the only option for a black toaster oven. The crumb tray is attached so I'm sure that will annoy me to clean when I get around to it. For the price and the amount of times we use a toaster oven I'm sure it will be fine.

The proctor silex toaster oven that I purchased was useless to me. It was MUCH SMALLER than the dimensions given in the product description on the Wal Mart website. This is the 2nd time that this has happened to me with a Wal Mart online purchase. The box that it came in wasn't even as large as the dimensions of the product listed on the website. I will never shop at this website again.

Atractive look and seemed durable but when it was out of the box, the interior was smaller than I expected even though I had checked outside measurements. My biggest problem with this toaster oven, however, was that you could not put the rack and the baking pan in the oven at the same time, unless you were broiling something, inverted the pan and used it as a drip pan. It was absurd to me that you could not slide the rack in and then put the pan on top or above it, even to store both inside. There were little unnecessary nodules/bumps in the center of the interior walls that prevented this. I have never seen a toaster oven with this design and it was annoying. You either had to use the pan and keep the rack out or vice versa. If you tried to put both in, even for storage, one of them tilted. Between that and the interior size, I returned it and bought a Black and Decker toaster oven with broiler and convection features, much bigger, for the SAME price, on sale, also at Wal-Mart and love it. More features, same amout of money and you can actually place the pan on the rack...I use a toaster oven daily and really wanted something both attractive and functional. The Proctor Silex wasn't it.
