Carry out your full day's activities and still enjoy a healthy, home-cooked meal in the evening with the Crock-Pot 7-Quart Manual Slow Cooker. This kitchen staple combines convenience with time management to allow delicious meals without the need to stand over a simmering pan constantly stirring. The high and low settings on this electric slow cooker are designed to cook meals like chilis, stews and more. Simply prepare the ingredients ahead of schedule and place them into the interior pot base. Once the meal is finished cooking, turn the Crock-Pot slow cooker to the warm setting and the unit will keep the meal at serving temperature. With the 7-quart capacity, this large slow cooker can easily prepare meals to serve eight people or more. The stoneware base and the glass lid are dishwasher-safe for an easy clean-up.

How do I maintain and care for?

Always shut off your appliance, remove it from the outlet, and let it cool before cleaning. Parts that can be cleaned in the dishwasher can also be cleaned with hot, soapy water. Never use scouring pads or harsh cleaning agents. Remainder is typically removed with a cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula. Use vinegar or a non-abrasive cleanser to get rid of water spots and other stains. The stoneware and lid cannot resist fast temperature changes, like any fine ceramic. When the stoneware or lid is hot, avoid washing them with cold water.

How can I reset an electronic display that flashes?

Simply press and hold the select and power buttons for 30 seconds while the slow cooker is plugged in to reset it. After that, you should unplug the device and replug it. This ought to fix the problem you mentioned. Our products are made with the best components possible at Crock-Pot, and we anticipate that they will last and perform as intended.

What is the temperature at its highest number?

It only depends on how long it takes for the temperature to reach the simmer point on your slow cooker because both high and low stabilize at the same degree (209°F). On high, it takes roughly 3–4 hours to reach the simmering stage; on low, it takes roughly 7-8 hours. Your slow cooker will be between 165 and 175°F when it is on the warm setting.

What is the temperature for cooking on Low, High, and Warm?

The temperature at which both high and low stabilize is the same (209°F); the only variable is the time required to reach the simmer point. On high, it takes roughly 3–4 hours to reach the simmering stage; on low, it takes roughly 7-8 hours. Your slow cooker will be between 165 and 175°F when it is on the warm setting. Please keep in mind that depending on what you are cooking, these temperatures can change. We do advise you to always fill your slow cooker between half and three quarters of the way full, with at least one cup of liquid or sauce. This will stop the food from burning and drying out.

How much roast can this hold?

Around 6 to 7 lbs. of roast can fit in here.

I bought this as a gift for Christmas because the recipient had been looking in to them for months. This seems to have been working very well - the food cooks evenly, it's big enough to make large portions and it looks nice sitting on the counter. It was a very good price for the product that you get.

I've had a round crock pot for 25 years and wanted an oval one. I put a frozen pot roast in it at 350 degrees and put in the oven to speed up the cooking process and the lid melted! I can't find a replacement lid anywhere!

I was so excited about my crockpot. I take it out of box and put the lid on it and the lid doesn't fit the crockpot. I have huge gaps on the side and it doesn't lay flat on the crockpot. Im disappointed that the crockpot doesn't keep the heat inside because it's not sealing. My crockpot is damaged and thats very disappointing.

I've had this beauty for about 9 years, and I love her so much. I'm on this site today, just bc the rubber feet finally wore out. This is after making Irish Stew every March and chili every football season and delish Leg O Lamb as shown in the accompanying photo.

AZ summers and using the oven don't mix. My kitchen becomes a sauna. Crock-Pot has always been a reliable and delicious way to cook, but absolutely essential to me at this time of year. I was so excited to purchase this beauty yesterday! My old one had finally given out after years of use, so I bought a similar model. Tonight we're having a pot roast, something we love, but certainly something I couldn't cook for hours in the oven! As always, I know that I'll be really pleased with the results. Crock Pot has always been dependable, quality cookware that never disappoints. Low and slow, I'm getting great steam and looking forward to an enjoyable summer of meals with my new crockpot...in a cool kitchen!

SCV700-B2, I had the two same Crock-Pots for 20 years, two different sizes, I would still have them both if the handles hadn't broken on both pots. I bought a new one because I trusted the brand, this new Crock-Pot is useless. I called customer service after the first time I used a tried and true recipe and the meat dried totally out because all the steam escaped. Your customer service person told me the huge gap in the lid is supposed to be that big. Really! I taped two quarters together and that's the size of the gap on BOTH ends of this pot. I have photos below, seriously, stack two quarters, would you leave your Crock-Pot lid gaped that much while cooking?! I've used it on and off for six months or so but the only way I can keep all the moisture from escaping from my brand new Crock-Pot is to cover both ends of the pot with plastic wrap because the lid gaps so much. Yesterday was the limit, I am now furious! I soaked beans overnight put them on at 8 am on high without the plastic wrap (figuring there was plenty of moisture) didn't open it and just let it cook, and at 6pm, they were still not cooked because it's not just the liquid that escapes, but the heat as well. I'm not calling customer service again because it was a waste of my time and I don't have the receipt anymore. I was a sworn Crock-Pot enthusiast, but never again after this, I don't have money to waste on a product that doesn't do what it's supposed to do. Guess what? I'm going to get an Instant Pot. I might just throw the Crock-Pot away because donating it to Goodwill would be cruel to the next sucker who spends even $2. on it.

LOVE IT. Simple is better I had a crock pot that had all the bells and whistles , I had it for over ten years and never liked it that well, it still worked fine it just looked dirty it was white and after a few years I could not get the stains out so I gave it to a friend who is not as picky . Simple is better this is not a confusing crock to use NO computer buttons and NO timer setting to set just one dial off, low, high, warm, plus instead of costing 60.000 to 70.00 bucks because of no confusing computer stuff on it , it cost under 20.00 bucks when I bought it on sale plus its 7 QT's instead of 6 QT's and it cooks just the same as my old crock with all the bells and whistles that only held only 6 QT's .
