LOVE THE SLOW COOKER, would advise every one to get the larger Hamilton Beach large scapacity slow cooker.

I have used my new crockpot a few times now and I am just thrilled with it! It's huge and works perfectly! Great price at a great deal! Walmart shipped immediately and I was using it in under a week! I would definitely recommend this to everyone!

I'm very pleased with my slow cooker. It's not the one shown on the listing as it doesn't have the piece in the back to hold the lid which would have been nice, but at 8 quarts it's so roomy that you don't have to worry about fitting in larger pieces of meat and bulky vegetables too. It works dependably and it's not difficult to operate or clean. I really enjoy making the dinner in the morning when I'm fresh, and serving it at night when I'm tired, it's a little like someone else made dinner, haha !

The lid does not securely fit. Don't know if it is a design or manufacturing flaw, but I am returning it.

This is great for cooking for a crowd. We used it right away, and were very happy with it. Heated fast, timing was right on. Loved the metal vs. the rubber seal. Much easier to clean, and sealed just fine!

I ordered this because I have had good luck with Hamilton beach and have other products made by them. Also I wanted the red to match my kitchen. The first one came in and the lid wouldn't sit flat on the ceramic. Placed the lid flat on the counter and could tell it was warped. So I took it back and reordered thinking it was a fluke. No fluke. The second one was worse. But I wanted a large red crock pot so I kept it. It works good. Just have to keep a close eye on the liquid levels as the liquid cooks out more quickly with the lid not sitting flat on the ceramic bowl.

It's a very good crockpot

Bought this. It was defective. The lid wobbled like it was warped. With no clips nor straps it would release its heat and stewm during cooking. It also had a pencil eraser sized in-glazed area on the upper rim of the ceramic liner. Don't know how it passed inspection. Sadly, I had to return for another one. Opened in store. It had the same defect with the lid. Had to return it. I really wanted this slow cooker. As my small kitchen appliances have been wearing out I've been replacing them with red ones. This was the only brand I've found that offered an 8 Qt Red Slow Cooker. We finally settled on another brand while still in the store. While looking, my hubby and I were disappointed to find that Walmart had placed our originally returned defective slow cooker to their shelves to sell it again. (The box was opened & we could see that exact unglazed marking on the rim. All in all a very sad, bad, & time wasting adventure!

After tasting my friends collard greens ,I asked how she prepared them ,her answer my crock pot .i never knew there was a crockpot big enough for cooking for a large family, so once she told me I was out the door . I was at Walmart and I saw roll back and also I saw a red one I was pleased it fit right in with all my other red items in my kitchen this cooks very well,and looks very nice ,and the price was right.this was my Xmas present to myself. Lol

The crock pot was a Christmas gift to my mother. When she opened it there was a HUGE dent in the crock pot. When I returned it to the store of course they didn't have the red one and only could give me store credit.
