Make easy and delicious one-dish meals, from soup to stir-fries to paella, in this electric skillet. The large capacity lets you cook for a crowd, the temperature probe gives you plenty of control over the heat, and the tempered glass lid shows you your delicious meals in progress. The large capacity skillet accommodates a big stir-fry, scrambled eggs for a crowd, or Saturday night burgers. The easy-to-use probe lets you adjust and set the temperature, and has a "keep warm" feature. The nonstick surface means cleanup is easy; cool-touch handles keep hands safe on busy counters. The unit provides a smooth cooking surface that heats quickly and evenly - measuring a generous 16" x 12". Use it for anything from scrambled eggs, pancakes and French toast to frying bacon for BLTs, making grilled cheese sandwiches and much more. A secure-fitting tempered-glass lid comes included, which helps trap in heat and moisture and allows for checking on cooking food at a glance. With the lid in place, the skillet works exceptionally well for frying chicken, baking a casserole, or cooking a stew. To set or adjust the temperature, simply turn the dial on its user-friendly temperature probe. Other highlights include a sleek modern look, cool-touch side handles for safe transport, and a dishwasher-safe design (with the probe removed) for quick clean-up.

I received this item as a gift to replace an older Oster electric skillet that I from years back. I absolutely loved my other one, so when it got ruined in a kitchen ceiling leak, replacing it was a no brainier. This newer model is significantly larger, which has its pros and cons. Though I like the extra cooking capacity, and being able to cook enough food at once to eat for a couple of days (I'm single so this is a definite plus), the extra size makes storing a bit more difficult for my small kitchen space. I absolutely hate this itty bitty cord. All I can hear is Pinocchio in my head every time I go to plug it in.... "I wanna be a REAL cord when I grow up!" It has to be the most inconvenient appliance cord I have ever dealt with. I have exactly one place where I can cook on my counter because of this, and it is not ideal. It makes for having to rearrange my entire counter top just to bring out the skillet. The skillet does not heat evenly. I don't know if others have found the same issue, or if mine has a defect. I have found that the skillet cooks hotter around the outside edges, even if I preheat. I was absolutely thrilled to know this is top rack dishwasher safe. I have severe Fibromyalgia, so the strength in my forearms is rapidly deteriorating, in addition to arthritis in my hands and severe tendonitis in my wrists, which makes handling the skillet for cleaning quite difficult. Overall I am pleased with the skillet. If you have a large enough kitchen, can overlook the Pinocchio cord, and learn to cook around the hot spots, I would recommend it.

Picture says it all! I read it's ok to use a plastic scour pad but thought wouldn't need to. Maybe if it's that necessary it should come with the item. If it a pad doesn't fix the issue - back it goes.

After my old skillet was going out, this was a great replacement. It looked like any other skillet, but once I pulled it out of the packaging, I could see how large the skillet really is. Not only is it larger than normal skillets, it's also a deeper pan. This really helped when making large meals like my chicken curry that made huge quantities. My only gripe about this product is that the standard cord is extremely short, making options of where to cook with this limited if I didn't have an extension cord. Overall, I think this is a good product to have in my kitchen. FYI: I received this product as a sample to review. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

After using this skillet a few times, I realized how much I love it. The skillet is larger than most at a 16 x 12 size. It's large enough and deep enough to cook for a large family. The modern style comes easy to clean with the nonstick coated pan. I love the cool touch handles. After cooking a meal, I can move the entire skillet to the dinner table for serving. It also comes with a steam vented glass lid so you can easily view the food cooking. I highly recommend this skillet to anyone who likes to cook an array of food at one time such as stir fried beef and vegetables. Extremely convenient and large enough to cook bacon and eggs together. Although I received this product to review, I would be extremely satisfied if purchasing for myself.

I was quite happy with this product. My original review was 5 stars and it still is! The size is perfect for larger meals but still small enough to store efficiently. My favorite feature is the vented lid which keeps my food warm and moist. I also love the fact that it can be washed which makes clean up a breeze. It doesn't heat up your kitchen so this would also be ideal in the summer time for meals instead of cooking on your stove. I received this product as a sample to review and I'm so glad I did because I plan on using it for many more years to come!

My family and I love this thing. We've been using it almost everyday since we got it. First, the only thing I will say negative is the cord length. I could use a few more inches. And there's a pretty loud hum during warm up but as long as you know that's what's up, you won't think somethings about to blow up. Now, the good stuff: it's huge, seriously. Plenty of room to cook for my family of five. The temp control is awesome. It's great to set it and not have to keep messing with it. Super easy to wash and nothing sticks to it. We love this thing. Can't wait to cook dinner with it tonight!

This skillet looks good out of the box and set up is super easy. The lid has a nice weight to it and the cord is sufficiently long. The handles stay comfortable to the touch during cooking and cleanup isn't difficult. Unfortunately it lacks in even cooking across the surface. When cooking bacon the ends we're beautifully crisped while the middle of the strips were still chewy. It was quite obvious where the heating elements were. I will use the skillet only for items that need to be moved around like scrambled eggs (which cooked up well). I would not recommend for pancakes, French toast (ok I have breakfast on the brain) or hash browns. I really wanted to like this skillet more, it'll be a backup in the kitchen but not a frequently used item. Full disclosure- I received this product for free to review.

This thing works like a charm. I can't say enough about the operation of the unit. However, it fell off the counter the other day due to teenage roughhousing and the handle broke. Like the other reviewer, I cannot find replacement parts. The skillet would have gotten 5 stars if not for being unable to replace parts. If anyone knows where to purchase replacement parts let me know by posting a reply or another review.

I Bought this skillet for its size and because we like them so much. We have used it about five times since we bought it and the temperature control probe broke. I haven't found a replacement part for it so now I have a great skillet to look at instead of cook in.
