For cooks who like to share good times and good food! This portable slow cooker eliminates hassle and mess when transporting cooked foods from home. The secure-fitting lid and locking system create a tight seal between the stoneware and lid to ensure contents don't leak or spill. The Crock-Pot® Cook & Carry™ Manual Slow Cooker is a one-pot-wonder for traveling to parties, tailgates, picnics, potlucks and more. With the unit you can slow cook, warm and then serve from the removable stoneware and eliminate extra pots, pans and dishes. With BONUS 16-ounce Little Dipper® Food Warmer which is ideal for warm dips and sauces. Keeps food safe on the go with a hinged locking lid and carrying handles. Since there's no need to repack food in other containers, traveling is easier. The gasket lid helps keep the unit sealed, so food stays in the slow cooker and not on your car. Once you are done cooking, be sure to unplug and allow your slow cooker to cool before cleaning. The lid and stoneware can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water.

I was so excited to use this for the first time and was super careful taking it out of the box, only to find a huge scratch/indentation on the inside of the pot. Still debating whether to still use it or if the integrity of the pots been compromised. I’m new to the whole slow-cooker thing so I just don’t know if something like this really matters in the long run? Kinda bummed now

I brought this crockpot to replace the one that broke after 7 years of use. Because I take this to work for potlucks, a locking mechanism is required. I wish the company would bring back the old locking mechanism that had more metal because this one appears that the plastic will break very easily especially when heated from the crockpot.

Looks nice, cooks well, simple to use but the loop handle on top is very very cheaply made. The too short cord caught on something as I turned around to wash it at the sink, the cover slid off and the little handle broke. Was only the 2nd time I had used it. Have contacted Customer Support to ask about buying a replacement for the plastic handle as it looks easy to replace but have not heard if that is possible or if I will have to buy the whole lid.

I was using my 6 quart oval portable cooker today and I heard a loud pop in the kitchen. When I went to investigate I found the lid on my cooker had shattered. When I tried to lift it off the glass crumbled in on my food. Not only did I have a mess to clean up, we had no dinner. I have done some searching on the internet and this does not seem to be a random incident. Now I have a cooker w/o a lid that is virtually useless.

I have two other smaller crockpots that I've had for years and was ready to upgrade. This is a nice big crockpot, so now I will be able to get a whole roast and veggies in at the same time. I love that the lid has a seal that sits on the base of the crockpot and it also has a little air vent. This crockpot also has nice sturdy carrying handles and a setting that keeps the food warm. The only drawback is the short cord. Great Crockpot for the money if you don't need any of the bells ans whistles of the digital ones. I think mine was actually bought in the store for $19.99.

I had been contemplating a slow cooker since last summer because I don't like heating up the house to make dinner and with 2 small children it's hard to keep them out of the kitchen when the oven is on. We chose the slow cooker with a lid that can be locked in place for transporting it because it also keeps the kids from being able to open it. Be aware though that the outside of the cooker is still very hot so push it back on the counter where little hands can not reach it!

Love the locking lid! Also, crockpot was delivered with a broken heating element.. You all replaced it with no question, and at no cost to me! Thank you so much for your excellent customer service. This item was a gift, so I was still able to give the gift in time for Christmas. Thank you so much!

Large enough for group get together.Easy to clean and transport lid does an excellent job of sealing for transport. Holds heat when transporting but remember that out side of crock is hot.Just set in heavy card board box when hot transporting due to the heat so vehicle interior wont get messed up from outside heat from crock.

I bought mine about a year ago and still love it. It's big enough for almost anything, but, not too big that small stuff burns. My sister-in-law wanted one for Christmas and I love mine so much I bought her this one (instead of the brand she thinks she wants).
