This is a great microwave and oven. I use it in the summer and it doesn't heat the house up. Easy to understand and follow directions. It is a grill, microwave and convection oven.

Door fell off within 9 months of purchase along with the button to push to open breaking. Bought another Microwave to use in the interim possible month it was going to take to get it back. If I had known it was made in China, I would never had bought it. Looks good, but the broken plastic pieces found under it told a different story.

I recently moved so I have not used the convection oven yet, but am anxious to try it. I wanted to replace my toaster oven and wanted to use the convection oven instead of a gas oven with no self-cleaning option. I love the microwave and defrost features. However, using the defrost feature, you cannot decrease the power percentage. I really don't like the outside of the oven because it shows finger prints if you use hand cream on your hands. I thought about this purchase for a long time before I finally bought it. I really love it.

Unfortunately this item did not function well for us. It blew a fuse twice just from microwaving. The convection controls are complicated and does not bake properly. The item is huge in the back so can only sit in the corner of our countertop. We are returning it.

This seems to shut down when it wants to. I can put a bag of popcorn in for 3 minutes and then try to warm up some hot wander and after 2 minutes the microwave shuts off..not sure why? This is the second one that I have owned and I thought it was unique to the 1st one. I lost the 1st one in a house fire & bought one again & it's doing it again. The other day I pushed the number 3 and it tried to come on & shut down & kicked the breaker and everything shut off. Why would it shut down constantly??

My first Multifunction Oven:
I would say I'm quite satisfied with this oven I have baked bread with excellent results the only problem I've had is the size ( is the same size as a regular oven) so you are limited to your cooking sizes also I've prepared pizzas and this works great.
all this besides using it as a regular microwave oven.
as anyting, you will have to get used to times and temperatures for your oven.
what I liked the most is that you can't overcook or burn your bread. .( the results of overcooking is dehydration) if you want to have a bread with the crust I suggest to use the grill option as the final step

The actual size of the Cuisinart Convection Microwave Oven with Grill CMW-200 should be listed in the description. It is a much smaller unit than it appeared to be and no actual dimensions were given. Also, I think it should be noted that even though it is specified as a countertop unit, it must be 12" from the upper cabinet. However, this is not advised to the customer until the unit is removed from the packaging and set up begins. The safety lock on the door requires one hand to hold the unit while the other pushes the very tight door release. If the unit isn't held firmly, it slides backwards when trying to open the door. If I had known all the facts, I doubt I would have purchased this particular unit, as it is not what I had in mind.

Works well. Note that the external right side gets quite hot during convection at 425 degrees (maximum temperature), so be sure to put the oven where kids can't reach it.
The manual could use some more examples for multi-stage cooking. For example it is not obvious that you can program it to repeat the same kind of cooking with different settings, although that is possible (e.g. you can set it for convection at one temperature and time, followed by convection for a different temperature and time).
