Finally hot coffee yay! And it stays hot This is a very nice looking coffee Machine The only this is it is very hard getting the very last cup of coffee out because of the Design of the inside but I'll take that over a hot cup of coffee until it's all gone

lid / top will not close, it is difficult to get the carafe under the brewer, there is an obstruction that seems to me may cause an issue with durability. Also, not sure if it is the brewer or the coffee, but it overflows the filter allowing coffee grinds into the carafe. My Mr. Coffee used the same grind without this problem.

We are enjoying great tasting coffee again! No bitterness or after taste. Just full bodied flavor to start our day! Thank you Cuisinart!! Oh, and it's affordable as well.

Overall my satisfaction with this coffee make is good. When my wife and I make a full pot on the weekends, we have no issues. Problem is that during the week, we only make 2-3 cups at a time. This is where the carafe becomes an issue. When you make a very small pot, it is very difficult to pour the coffee without make a mess, You have to darn near turn the pot upside down to get the coffee to pour. However when you do, you get the mess that is depicted. It splashes all over the place when you make 2-3 cups. We do not have this issue at all when we make a full pot. Until we get down to that lst cup, of course.

Where to start? The unit fits nicely in the space and does not need to be moved to use it. Initial set up was easy, just take your time programming. Getting water into the reservoir without getting some into the filter basket is tricky. For the first few uses it was hard reading the water quantity. The carafe is awkward to use, and has unexpected weight. BUT, the carafe keeps coffee made at 5:30 nicely hot until 9:00. A wide spread power brownout/blackout for several minutes caused the programming to mess up. It took a phone call to get the solution, unplug the unit for 2 hours and then reprogram. The real measure is, the best cup of coffee from any maker we have had!

This is first insulated (stainless) coffeemaker for us. We enjoy stronger coffee "black" and hot from the pot. It has taken some trial and error to determine the correct amount of coffee for the approximately 10-cups we brew each morning. Have settled on approx. 4 "level" coffee measuring spoon quantity of Med/Fine grind for best results. There is NO warming plate on unit, but the coffee remains "real hot" for about 3 hours, then remains very drinkable for another hour or so. The stainless pot is rather heavy and somewhat awkward when filling water reservoir causing some dripping if not careful. The opening of pot is small (cannot put hand inside), thus difficult to clean interior.
