The Cuisinart Power Advantage Plus 9 Speed Hand Mixer performs any task a recipe calls for, and then tucks into its own storage case. Once it has mixed heavy batters, whipped up fluffy meringues and kneaded homemade bread dough, just clean it up and put it away. Extra long beaters, chef's whisk, and dough hooks fit into a clear case, and the mixer snaps on top. Plenty of power, perfect control, and compact storage. That's a mixer anyone can love.

Power Advantage PLUS 9-Speed Hand Mixer: Cuisinart

Introducing a hand mixer that's as easy to put away as it is to operate! The Cuisinart Power Advantage PLUS 9-Speed Hand Mixer performs any task a recipe calls for and then tucks into its own storage case!
Cuisinart (HM-90BCS) Power Advantage Plus 9-Speed Hand Mixer Customer Reviews
I've only used it twice so far, but it seems sturdy. A bit hard to open attachment case at first and while I've read reviews by others that had difficulty storing the cord and attachments in the case, I had no problem with that.

I received this as a (requested!!) gift. I have a stand mixer that I use for big things, and my old hand mixer was getting to the point where it was difficult to cut through room-temperature cream cheese. This mixer is amazing. I have used it from whipping cream to blending cream cheese and baking mixes...and there is very little difference in its ability, thanks to the 9 power levels. I am 73 and have arthritis in my shoulder, so I found putting it on a lower surface made it easier to use. Absolutely love it! And the self-storage is a great feature...no hunting for beaters in 'the drawer'!!

The mixer is a nice size, and easy to operate. I have used it multiple times and like how handles but am unsure of the durability of the beaters and the storage case is difficult to get on and off. I feel it will break easily with abundant use. It looks efficient and functional but I have a hard time getting it on and off.

I love this product. I have purchased many Cuisinart products in the past and have been very satisfied with them. I had to replace my Cuisinart hand held mixer, dating back to 2003, because the electrical cord began to break down and I had to breakdown and purchase a new one for the sake of safety. This one has features I really like. It as powerful as my previous one but has 9 speeds, easy to handle, storage container for mixer and attachments, big plus, but most of all is the powerful speeds it provides. The previous one had 7 speeds and also very powerful. I was reluctant to replace it. I used it so often I thought I would miss it.
I am very happy with my purchase. You almost don't need a stand mixer except for tasks a hand mixer can't provide.

This is a very powerful hand-held mixer! I used it to mix up Irish soda bread dough plus a batch of gingersnap cookies. It works well although somewhat loud, probably a reflection of its powerful motor. I also liked all the various attachments that come with it and the way everything stores in the clear case.

This is my first Cuisinart mixer and I'm sorry I waited so long. It is lightweight for handling but powerful for my cooking needs. Thx for a quality product. The storage caddy is an added bonus so I will always have the attachments handy in one place.

This mixer is very powerful and reliable. I have had it for one year now and I use it several times each week. My only issue is that one of the beaters broke recently (just before the holidays) when I needed it most. Customer service promptly sent me a replacement but it did take a couple of weeks to receive.

I am extremely happy with the Mixer. It does and excellent job with everything I've used it with. The slow speed I love because it doesn't throw the dry ingredients all over the counter as you are mixing. The long rods on the beaters are super because you can beat liquids without getting it all over the mixer its self. I also love having the storage under the mixer so the beaters are so available without having to look for them in a drawer. It is the most efficient hand mixer that I've ever had.

As Hand mixers go, this mixer works really well. I love the fact that you can start on a super low speed which avoids splatter, yet I have the 9-speed power to whip up a perfect meringue that only a huge mixer can do. It's very durable, love the compartment to keep all parts in one place. It also has an easy ejection button to release mixing spoons. My old sunbeam mixer made it a challenge (quite irritating actually). Bottom line, I LOVE my Cuisinart 9-speed hand mixer!

My last mixer was a cheap one, but it worked until it died after 20 years. I mainly use the hand mixer for light duty - mashed potatoes, whipped toppings, cake batter, etc. I did do cookie dough with it and it worked just fine. Anything heavier than that I cannot attest to. This mixer has a nice slow start feature that really keeps you from flinging food. The beaters are different than what they used to be. Stainless steel, Yes! The beaters have a longer post than they used to. You can mix in deeper pots/bowls. The shape is different as well, and has no center post. Because of the differences the mixer takes a time or two to get used to the feel of it. It has plenty of power for what I use it for and I really like that. The other wonderful feature I really like is the attached storage bin on the bottom. Everything fits nicely and doesn't get beat up. No more rummaging through the drawers to find the beaters, or unbend the whisk. The cord has set swivel points so it doesn't get twisted or tangled when using the mixer or storing it in the bin. Reading professional and personal reviews one after another lead me to this mixer. I am glad I chose this one and definitely recommend it.
