I am impressed by the power of the mixer but the low speed is not low enough. Almost impossible to cream confectioners sugar and butter. Also, I can't rest the mixer on the edge of the bowl.

Very glad I purchased this mixer. It's amazing how fast it whips up my creations. It's not heavy which I like.

This hand mixer is perfect for mixing almost anything. Three speeds are sufficient for the tasks for which I use this.

I love it so much. It whips up things realllyyyy quickly. Before I bought this, I thought having an immersion blender whisk was enough. How wrong was I! That one had only one balloon whisk attachment, and it took took almost twice as long as this hand mixer to get jobs done. I hope this one lasts (it hasn't' been very long since I bought this).

I really like this new mixer. It's light weight and easy to push on or off even with arthritis! I used the lowest speed and was impressed! Cleaning was a breeze!

I can't believe how easily it goes through thick cookie dough without hesitation! It is so light-weight and easy to use. Cleaning the beaters is a true breeze.

I received this item as a gift. I am not a baker, by any means, but this hand mixer allows me to make my grandmother's waffle recipe just like she used to. I am happy I received this gift for Christmas

For many years I had one of the Emeril specials. I hated it. Went back to my old brand, Sunbeam. Very disappointed. Had it over a year. Tried this one. Completely outdid my Sunbeam. Recently tried to whip egg whites into a meringue. Didn't work with the Sunbeam. Did with the Cuisinart. Thank you.

Pros: Open-design beaters are more effective than I expected (being used to the old-fashioned flat-sided beaters with center post) and easy to clean. Having just three speeds makes operation simple. High speed whipped up cream in a jiffy. Adjustable cord orientation is very convenient. Cons: A bit heavier than I like. Major complaint: I bought this brand and model because it promised a low, no-splash speed. The lowest speed is not low at all, and sprays bowl contents like a sprinkler. I'll be returning it, and continuing my search.
