KitchenAid Review - KitchenAid Architect Hand Mixer Review
4 years ago

Today I am reviewing the KitchenAid Architect hand mixer. This is NOT a paid review. I am doing this because I love my KitchenAid hand mixer and I just wanted to share some of the reasons why. I did forget to mention a few other things like it's very light weight and easy to clean. If you are in the market for a hand mixer, I would highly recommend this KitchenAid model

I reviewed a lot of mixers before purchasing this one. I didn't want to buy one that does something my food processor already did which can be the case with the larger counter top mixers. This one has enough power for a range of batters, doughs and liquids and its lightweight and easy to use.

Purchased to replace my old Black & Decker wimpy hand mixer - could not afford nor have room for a Kitchen Aid stand mixer (my dream). It is sturdy and powerful. Had a few mishaps getting used to the controls - they are not intuitive but overall, a great item.

This is the second hand mixer that I've bought, the first I gave to my daughter when she came to visit us (from Brazil), so I had to get another and couldn't be other than the same, but this time with whisker, which is so nice. No more hands tired! it makes all the work and is light and really effective.

I bought this hand mixer after being without for several months. I didn't realize how much I use this tool in my kitchen! I tried a cheaper brand but was sorely disappointed to have batter thrown outside of the bowl on 1st speed. This KitchenAid 9-Speed is awesome! The first setting is very slow & gentle...something that was important to me in my search for a great hand mixer. Great purchase!

I bought this hand mixed three weeks ago and have used it six times. While it came with several sets of beaters/whips/etc, I have only used the beaters. I was surprised that their design allowed for some flexibility when in contact with the bowl. While it might seem silly, I really like the strap attached to the cord that allows you to keep the cord neatly wound up.

I bought this after my wedding in May. I really love the electronic function to increase the power level. However, I wish that the actual on/off button was electronic as well. Having the button as a switch makes it difficult to turn off with one hand when you are mixing at a higher speed. Other than that, I love my mixer!

I read a lot of reviews online before I decided on this mixer and I'm totally glad I picked it. It's lowest speed is gentle enough it doesn't spin flour or drops of liquid out of the bowl. And, it has enough power to mix everything I've tried so far - including bread dough. The only thing I found in another brand that I wish this one had was an attachment box that fits on the bottom of the mixer for storage - but that didn't have anything to do with how it works.

I purchased this because I didn't have any spare counter space for a stand mixer. I was hoping this would be close to the same power wise and I was not disappointed! This mixer has a great slow setting that actually is strong enough to mix slowly without spraying food everywhere. I can't say I've needed to use the highest of the speed settings as I have only used about half of what this mixer offer speed-wise for all of my baking. I like having the attachments and think it's a perfect mixer. I understand this mixer isn't the cheapest on the market but it's a worthy investment. I bake often and this product has not failed me yet. I'm very pleased and believe you would be, too.

I've had a KitchenAid Stand mixer for many years which I love very much. I've had many different brands of small hand held mixers but they just never seem to satify my needs. I love my new KitchenAid hand held mixer and use it every week for mixing up different things. It is a wonderful mixer for any type of food (etc. whipping cream, making icing or beating eggs omelets). Haven't made any cookies with it yet but can't wait to try this hand held on them.
