Cuisinart brings its coffee-making expertise to the 12-cup model of our classic stainless steel percolator. Piping hot water percolates through the grounds, and pulses up into the transparent knob on top, to create the familiar perk-perk sound that coffee lovers wait to hear. A detachable cord and stay-cool bottom lets this percolator go anywhere to serve, and it only needs to be plugged in to keep it hot.

Had this coffee pot for several months now and so far, so good! It makes great coffee and I like that it has a light for when The coffee is ready. It also has marks on the basket and inside coffee pot for fill lines for coffee and water, makes making coffee a breeze. Really impressed so far!

We love Cuisinart products. This Coffee Pot is a back up to our Cuisinart Brew Central 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker which is the primary coffeepot, but the Classic 12 Cup Percolator has no glass pot, no need for paper filters and is simple and old fashioned.

It looks great but I can't use it. The little glass top cannot stay on the lid. It has no side extensions. It looks like they were broken off. I've had a Cuisinart before so I know how good they are. Can you help get me a replacement glass top. Thank You!!

Classical coffee maker If you want a wonderful cup of coffee, this is the coffee maker. Rocking it old school. You need a coarser ground coffee and your all set. Remember growing up with a percolator, my husband wanted this when we dmsaw it. So happy we purchase it.

We bought this to replace our Cuisinart thermal coffee maker that was dropped and broken. A blessing in disguise. This percolator is a low profile, classic design that is easy to use and percs a delicious cup of coffee! All stainless steel is great! We do use unbleached basket filters to catch any grounds. Just poke a hole in the middle as you set up.

We love our new ”classic” coffee percolator. Coffee tastes richer, smells amazing and there's no bitterness. We like to use a coffee filter, with a heaping teaspoon of medium to dark roast coffee per cup. The coffee grounds we save and use as mulch. We haven't tried grinding our own coffee beans, we just use the prepackaged regular grind coffee from our local HEB store (Texas). If you want consistently great coffee, this is your perfect choice.

I bought the percolator about a month ago and when coffee brews , the coffee grinds are pulled into the brew.

Got it last Christmas as a present. It makes hot and flavorful coffee. It brings back memories when my Grandmother brewed coffee in her percolator. I like the idea of brewing in a stainless steel pot rather than plastic. Enjoy that it is portable to bring to the table and easy to clean. I use a regular coffee filter, so I can use any coffee grind and not get grounds in my coffee. I use the filler pump tube (dampened), to make a hole in the filter as it is positioned in the basket. It was one of my favorite Christmas presents.

It takes me back to yesteryear. I remember working into the wee hours on term papers. The percolator would come on & soon I'd be stareing, watching it start perking. Such a memory as my father got ready for work ......

This was to replace the previous pot which stopped working. This is the best pot we have owned. Not sure why the previous one "died" but you were great about replacing it as it was still under warrantee.
