Been using it everyday for a month. Not as fast as setting up a typical coffee pot but I like avoiding plastic. Takes about 15 mins. Coffee is HOT and tastes excellent once you find your measurements. No need for additional filters, at least not with my grocery store brand organic ground coffee.

Having to return this one. Worked well for several days, then it stopped perking water thru all the grounds. The lid doesn't fit it like it should and it's a pain to get the lid off. Another thing it is not all stainless as advertised. The basket that holds the coffee is aluminum as well as the heating element in the bottom. Very disappointed that the company thinks we don't know the difference in metals and materials used. I was so hoping this would work. Just the right size for me. But big No

Pretty nice packaging fairly light shipped quick. Parts are of good quality the perk tube kinda sits in it's place well (kinda tilts easily too). This unit is a bit different as it has a basket lid. The filters have 5 holes that work really neatly center first then all the edges to make a packet of coffee in the basket. The machine works efficiently and makes a satisfying product. I think the filter is good as they say its eliminates some negative aspects of coffee.

This is the first percolator I've ever bought, and I'm very happy with its ease of use and beautiful appearance. My old drip coffee maker broke, and in my search for a new one, I came across percolators. I read many reviews and watched a few how-to videos before I made my purchase, and I definitely made the right decision. Filters are optional, but I think using a filter improves the flavor of the coffee. You can make up to six cups at a time, which is perfect for me as a single person. I love how it matches my stainless steel appliances, and it keeps the coffee hot for quite a while even after the appliance is unplugged. I highly recommend this percolator!

This percolator is awesome. It's well built, heavy, the coffee tastes great! Use fresh ground Eight O'Clock Whole Bean. Well worth the $25 it costs and it actually was delivered FAST! My advice: It comes with these silly filters. DO NOT USE. It'll ruin a whole pot of coffee on you. Just trust the basket. Another thing. I always added extra water to the drip makers to account for the loss. There is no loss with this one. You make 4 cups, you get 4 cups. I highly recommend it.

Back to the world of sensational percolator coffee after 13 years of Keurig I couldn't be more pleased with my little pot! Available in different amount of cups served, 6 is perfect for me!

This coffee pot makes good hot coffee BUT it's very difficult to put the coffee in the basket without making a huge mess. The basket is very narrow and if you are using a standard coffee measure, coffee goes everywhere. The directions included are very fussy and confusing. Pro-tip: do not use the filters included. Get a package of disc filters or use none at all.

We both used to use a Keurig coffeemaker, but my husband always said his coffee did not taste right. He only uses half and half, so has no sweetener to disguise any off flavors. And he drinks decaf (ugh) for medical reasons. So, when he said he wanted to use a percolator, I was happy to order one. So far, this make/model has worked out well. And the price was right.

I am so happy with this purchase. It takes up hardly no space on my counter. My coffee tastes so much better. It does take a little longer to prepare than a traditional auto-drip coffee maker but well worth the effort. The only thing I would like to be different is that it does not have an on/off switch. You have to plug and unplug to turn it off and on.

Surprised and happy at the taste of my coffee. Gets good and hot. Takes ten minutes, and red light come on. It's ready. Makes three and a half tall cups, not six. Don't use the filters. Haven't had to. Prefer chemical free. Very little grounds left. If you want to make it with six or seven cups buy the 12 cup Presto. For one or two people this one is great. Easy cleaning, and not aluminum. Stainless steel is better for you to cook with. I will buy again.
