Cuisinart Smart Stick Variable Speed Cordless Hand Blender With Electric Knife, Stainless Steel Customer Reviews

I had the same basic corded version Cuisinart blender (sans knife) and was very happy with it. Being free of an umbilical (electrical) cord is a big plus. Having to press two buttons to turn on is a nuisance, especially as you often want to check results (pulse) as you blend. The knife is basically useless. There is no ?handle? to give you the feel of using a knife. Again, the two buttons make things difficult as you often have to stabilize what you are cutting with your off hand. This is not a big deal as I am not a fan of an electric knife, anyway.

It's too big and bulky! Hard to use with the switches and lock switch ! They can make battery operated chainsaws that are smaller and work easier!

Very powerful; quick and easy to change attachments. Heavier and taller than expected. Two button start is a bit awkward, takes a little getting used to but manageable. Professional grade.

It's hard to turn it on and keep it running. Whenever I need to use it, it never works. I'm even planning on buying a different brand. This seems to be useless whenever I need it

Having to hold down the lock button and the speed button at the same time is not very practical and a poor design. Having a one hand one button operation is better. Our old Cruisinart was a better designed. Can I get my money back?

Purchased some time back to back up the first hand blender I purchasedfrom Cuisinart, the model CSB78. I am in the process of returning the 4th CSB78 to your company because the battery/charger module keeps failing within 7 months of use. I do not like the CSB300 because it is not as handy as my CSB78. It takes two hands to turn on and the blade end is 3" wide. It requires a lot larger container than the CSB78. I prefer the CSB78. If only your company could provide a product that lasts more then 7 months, it would be worth the cost. The time and cost to me to keep sending back my CSB78 every time the battery/charger module keeps failing, does not make your product a good value. I am trying to find a replacement from another company that will work better.

Originally purchased for taking chopper to restaurants as special needs brother has to have food chopped fine as he doesn't chew. Found chopper to be to small need more capacity...would trade knife for larger cap. chopper. Other than that perfect for home use no cord to fight with....Would love a 6-cup chopper / processor purchased another CSB-80 hoping it's 4-cup processor would work but was not compatible with the CSB-300 need to see if Cuisinart offers anything....??? so I'm back to the Kitchen King Pro hand grinder witch is some times a hard time with steak etc...

I really like this blender. I did not need the knife (or want it)but it came with the blender. I wanted the cordless and the chopper so the knife is extra.
