The Danby microwave looks very nice and matches my other small appliances. I like the express cook function that allows me to select 1-6 minutes with one touch and the start+30 second button. It's quieter than my last microwave and work well. I am happy I selected it.

I bought this microwave to replace another brand that quit working. I don't remember the name of the other brand. Anyhow, the price was good, the 900 watts cooks quick and hot! I don't have a problem with the unit sliding when being opened, but could see that happening as the unit isn't very heavy. Overall i am satisfied with this purchase!

This is a Goldilocks microwave -- not too big, not too small, just right. The door is a little stiff right now, so the microwave moves slightly as you pull the door open, but I'm hoping that will loosen up a bit with time. We'll see. Other than that, I have no complaints so far. It has all the functions of a bigger microwave -- great deal for the price. I would recommend.

I've had this item for approximately 1 month. It works very well for my every other day useage of it. Inside is wide enough to fit a large plate inside. It heats foods quickly and is relatively easy to use. I would agree with some previous comments that the microwave is light enough that when you pull the handle to open it, it will move. Put some grips on the bottom. No issues with this product and price was great.

Takes longer at 900 watts then my 12 year old kenmore did with 700. Either it is engineered poorly or it is defective. I am planning to return it.

Shopped in store at several places and couldn't find the perfect microwave for our remodeled kitchen. Researched online and the Danby microwave got excellent reviews so took a chance and
ordered it site unseen on Walmart.com. It came very quickly and more than met our expectations. Not too big, not too small, beautiful and works great. Best microwave we have ever had!! Looks gorgeous sitting on our granite countertop, Just Perfect !!

Most people are not aware of this but the Danby brand is a very high quality brand and I did a lot of research on this brand before ordering it because of the inexpensive low price which caused me concern. But the reviews on this little microwave were excellent unlike a whole lot of other microwave reviews I ran across and this is one powerful great little microwave with a lot of plus's for the price. It's stainless steel and has a handle instead of the pushbutton that eventually goes bad and is not made of plastic like some of the other brands out there. So I would highly recommend Danby products to anyone as they make more than just microwaves.

- didn't rate durability because i've only had it a couple weeks
- deceivingly large on the outside but the space for what you can actually put in the microwave is much smaller (but im sure that is why it is advertised as a ***0.9-cu. ft*** microwave-- that is small); so for those with small counter space this will be a tight fit because its is large (on the outside)
- definitely heats my food quickly
- efficient
- if i had to buy a cheap, yet good-looking and efficient microwave again, i would not hesitate to get this one again
