This is my first expresso machine and I was worried about it being complicated. Boy was I wrong! It's so simple to use. I personally looked up some videos on how to use this exact machine and I have zero problems with operating it. I love that I can remove part of the drip tray to accommodate a regular coffee mug. This machine has been a dream to use. My husband and I have never had an espresso machine before so didn't know what to expect, but we've been pleased with how easy it's been to make everything from simple espresso to lattes. There are only 3 buttons so it's clear which function you're using and the instruction manual provides helpful tips on every aspect of the machine, and even includes correct measurements for different types of drinks. I was surprised that part of the unit is plastic, as I expected it to be all metal and I am docking a star because with just about 15 uses the bottom panel that you can place a cup on has already scratched. The steam/foam function is also easy to use and heats up instantly. I find these types of machines to be intimidating at first, but so far we're loving it and I think it's increased our coffee intake. The narrowness of the machine is also great. It s this incredible, chic looking espresso machine that requires little clean up after using and takes up hardly any counter space (which we're already limited on). This is a very sleek machine and looks great on my counter,..but's let's talk about the quality of the espresso that is serves. If you are short on counter space like me then this is the perfect Espresso machine for you. It is sleek and has a narrow profile. When mine is not in use I slide it straight back. Its simple to use and takes just a spoonful of Espresso. It has a decent size water tank in the back, a warmer on the top and an easy to clean milk frother on the side. I love my coffee, but have always been wary of trying an espresso machine because they seem so complicated. However, this one is so easy to use, my 6 year old could probably figure it out on her own. I absolutely love the look of this particular model and the sleek design and it’s small stature fit perfect on my coffee bar. Set up was a breeze! It basically came out of the box already set up with the exception of filter-holder and 3 cups and the measuring spoon. I like that this machine has an option to brew using pre-ground espresso or the E.S.E pods, but regardless you’ll get a perfect cup every time! Cleanup is a breeze too which is awesome for me!! I was a little overwhelmed with this machine at first. Looking through the instruction booklet it seemed like a lot of steps to make coffee. A week later I really love this machine. It isn't difficult at all and I get a delicious espresso very quickly. You can make either one cup or two at a time. There is an attachment on the side for steamed milk or frothed milk for cappaccino. I enjoy cappaccino's often so this is great for me. It took some practice to perfect the milk frother but now I can do it easily. It comes with all of the accessories that you need to get started. You can use the top of the machine to warm mugs or to hold the accessories. This machine is for real espresso lovers like myself. It is totally different from standard coffee makers.
