Element burned in less than couple of months. From outside looks high quality, but actually it is very low quality.

The good: beautiful toaster, with all the functionality you expect from a toaster. The bad: the mechanics to get your bread out of the toaster are not that good designed and the system breaks down after one year of use. Conclusion: Great when it works, unfortunately not build to last long.

New features like handle not staying down until plugged in. Has settings that make toast light to dark. Lightweight so my wife can store it when not in use.

So-so but NOT the quality I expected. Very thin metal, You have to be very careful not to cut your fingers when pushing down the lever as edges of metal are sharp. Bought this to replace my $7 older, working toaster which had started to toast the bottom half of the item (bread, bagel, waffle) much darker than the top half. This toaster does the same thing!

The extra wide slots are great for buns and bagels. Great Walmart price. Love Oster products!!!

I love this toaster, it has so many great features that are very helpful. I especially love that it can accommodate for frozen items. My favorite feature is the cancel button, I always set the temp too high and tend to burn my food the cancel button helps me to get it out in a jiffy. #OsterContest [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I ordered this toaster because of the great reviews and the inclusion of reviews of the "digital counter" and the "retractible cord" which I did not see in the description but thought would be great on the toaster. Ended up buying this model because of the idea of having the retractible cord. When I got the toaster I realized those reviews were not for this toaster but for another one. Not sure how the reviews for another toaster got on this site but I will be returning this toaster for the one that really does have the retractible cord which has excellent reviews. I am happy to review it when I get it and feel it will be what I was really looking forward to having. Hope Oster can get the reviews corrected so others don't have to go through returning the wrong advertised product...

Pros: wide slots, lightweight, attractive, nice setting options Cons: only complaint is that it tends to toast somewhat unevenly

Simple, intuitive and reliable. This lightweight toaster does what toaster should do with no extra bling.
