GE (JNM3151DFWW) 1.5 cu. ft. Over-The-Range Microwave Oven Reviews

I'd expect to get more than 5 years out of this microwave, but didn't. In fact, our subdivision was built out with all homes completed within about a year of each other. Same model GE microwave installed in each of the 30 homes. I know of at least 3 which recently stopped working. Ours will poer up and light come on. Turn table sometimes will turn for about 2 seconds but doesn't heat at all. Neighbors report similar things with no heating.

You have to take the entire microwave apart to clean all the Splatters off the door. I can't stress enough that this model is the ABSOLUTE Worst ever made! It will take at least 2 hours to take apart and clean. I did not choose this microwave— it was chosen by the Apartment complex I moved into — most certainly because it is CHEAP!!!! Hey Hey

we haven't been in our house 5yrs yet and the handle is now broken!!!

This was included in our new house. We built in 2014. In under 5 years, handle broke off, then the whole bottom broke which led to the glass falling out. Would never buy this product again. Staying away from GE appliances as well.

The microwave has been working great ever since. And had not been having any issues. The door though is bit flimsy and doesn't seem sturdy. You can feel it during opening and closing. Overall an ok product.

Appliance is extremely loud. Serves as a vent over our range as well and is extremely loud. Cooking performance is good. It the noise on this unit is ridiculous.

It's a poor performer. It came installed in our new house. I have to add 10% extra time to every thing I cook in it. The cheap counter top microwave I use at work heats things better. I hate the express cook keypad. Just let me type in the exact time I want and then hit start! Most frozen stuff needs cooked for a time that's not an exact minute. The metal trim is attractive and the inside is big. I just wish it actually was actually good at cooking things.

I like the appearance of this microwave. It is SO loud. And, if you have this installed over your oven like we do, the fan will just turn on when you are cooking on the oven. You cannot turn it off. We were boiling potatoes, and the fan comes on in the microwave. So annoying. And, the fan is SO SO loud you cannot hear anything else in the kitchen. I really dislike this feature. I am sure it is for safety, but it is too loud! We unplug it when using our oven for extended periods of time.

I haven't had this microwave for very long, but so far I'm impressed with it. It was a great price, but it looks top-of-the-line. It has just enough buttons to be useful but not too many that clutter the controls. We really love the light that it gives over the range, too.

this microwave came with my built house. love to use it everyday. simple and plain. the function that i liked the most the turn table (plate) can disable it.
